Hotel Villa Agnese

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Hotel Villa Agnese immensely and are very thankful to the staff for the incredible welcome and service!
This is one of those hotels that does its job really really well, working like a well oiled machine. The hotel is located just at the outskirts of the town in a gated area, not too far from the motorway exit.
Everything in the hotel is immaculately clean. In fact could smell soap everywhere. Not detergent, just a nice familiar smell of clean soap. The room was spacious, all equipment well kept,l, neat and fully operational. Our room was spacious and bright
Same goes for the facilities around the hotel. They've done such a great job landscaping the exterior, planting trees, shaded areas for the car parks, the pool, the lounge area. Despite the proximity to the motorway, you can hardly hear any noise thanks to the foliage all around the hotel. Really really well done and looks so great! They've really done what they could with the hotel and executed it very well. We enjoyed the pool a lot as well!
The breakfast was nice and fresh, offering a wide selections of cakes, fruits, some cheeses, breads etc.
But I really want to call out the staff who was so friendly and attentive. In particular the gentleman at the bar! Honestly the people working there really make the place complete, they are lovely and natural with the guests but we also glimpsed on occasion them interacting with each other and just seemed so well jelled together. The staff helped us a lot with finding a way around, and recommended a number of places to eat and what to do. They asked about our plans. We really liked interacting with them. These things really make a difference. I wish this hotel all success, it really deserves it!

I really can't say anything more eloquent than the review that Anna left below. I can just second everything that she said about this awesome hotel, especially her comment about the gentleman bartender who serves drinks and snacks at the beautiful hotel pool. He was so kind. He wanted to make sure that he made my strawberry caipiroska just right every time. The front desk was very helpful getting us taxis. I have fibromyalgia so the bed was a little hard for me. It was no problem. They sent housekeeping to put a mattress pad on the bed. Such personal service is not easy to find. Our trip from the States was a month long, and we stayed at many different hotels during that time. Hands down, Hotel Villa Agnese was my favorite. If you can, book a Junior Suite. It was set up so well. Everything was super user friendly.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Villa Agnes.
We were looking for something in between Vinque Terre and Portofino, this was the perfect location.

3km from the train station, easily accessible by car or they can give you free bicycle.
Francesca at the reception and Massimo at the bar were outstanding hosts.

The breakfast was one of the best I ever experienced in an hotel, it is worth coming just for this.

We were lucky to be able to enjoy the pool late September, having a nice drinks & aperitif by it was a big plus.

We loved our stay at Villa Agnese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was great. The staff were fantastic and were extremely helpful. A special mention should be made of Masimo who was always smiling and doing his very best to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was also really good.While the position is not in town, we had a car and actually found it lovely to be able to retreat to the quieter neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend Villa Agnese

It was so beautiful. The location was mesmerizing and the breakfast was really good ,croissants with filling, fresh fruits, good coppa, salmon and tuna. The room was clean with goodlooking furnitures.
The employers were nice and someone got my attencion and it was Nadia who was really nice and helped with details.
All in all I had a really good sitting.

Quiet. Tranquility. A mere 30 minutes away and a perfect escape from the popular Portofino. Every corner and details are delightful and pleasant. Superb breakfast. Excellent atmosphere. Gorgeous service.

It's a very beautiful and quiet place, with a great breakfast, but it's a pity that we only stayed for one night. If we have time, we would like to stay more. The child is very honored to have met two lovely playmates. The two sisters took great care of her. It is unforgettable.

We stumbled upon this hotel and were lucky enough to get a junior suite with a private garden. Everyone here was so welcoming and kind. They even welcomed our dogs! The property is gorgeous and the staff genuinely seems to care about the hotel and their guests. There was a wide array of choices at breakfast and it was beautifully presented. If we make it back to the area (and we plan to as the village is adorable) then we would absolutely try to stay here, again. Thank you to everyone at Villa Agnes for making our stay so peaceful and perfect!

Staff was really and genuinely attentive and the swimming pool was a real plus. Breakfast was very good too.

All in all everything was very nice and totally recommended.

Only comment is that for a 3 star hotel, the rates are a bit high.

We had such a beautiful time at Villa Agnese. It is a lovely villa in a stunning location. The gardens and pool area are breathtaking and we were able to relax every day. The bikes which were available were so useful for the short cycle into town and the beach.
The staff were impeccable with their knowledge of the area, helpful advice on recommendations for sight seeing and eating. They were so friendly and accommodating -especially Francesca.

Everything else is perfect except location. It's about 20min walk to the Sestri Levantes centre.
They offered bicycles for free to use, that's definitely a big +

What a beautiful, sparkling clean & cheerful place! The photos reflect how bright, happy & relaxing VILLA AGNESE is to enjoy a peaceful stay. Dog friendly too! The staff is so welcoming, kind & attentive & the Breakfast is amazing! We will return for sure, 100%.

This is a fantastic hotel. Very kind staff that is really interested in their guests. Very close to Cinque terre and so a very good base for your visit.
The setting of the hotel blew me away and the breakfast is fantastic as well. They mix the breakfast up each day so that there is something new to discover every day.

Beautiful place, extremely romantic. Impeccable service and cleanliness. Breakfast is amazing. Prices of a la carte menu for pool side snacks and extremely reasonable. 6min by car from downtown. I'm sad to leave this place.

We cannot recommend Hotel Villa Agnese enough! We stayed for 10 nights as a base for travelling around Liguria and the staff went above and beyond for us. They were happy to book boat trips and kayaking for us, provided bikes for us to use daily and gave us a map with the route into the main town. We had an early flight and asked if they could book us a taxi to the train station at 5:30am however this mustn’t have been possible, instead the owner very kindly drove us there in his car instead! They also provided a takeaway breakfast which was so thoughtful. The pool and gardens are beautiful and the rooms are lovely and well maintained, with bottled water provided daily. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast and there were also lunch options available to eat by the pool. We can’t thank the hotel staff enough for how well they looked after us, 5* service.

We were so pleasantly surprised by everything that Villa Agnese had to offer. The staff was approachable and friendly each and everytime we needed anything. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to a large storm hitting the region and ultimately flooding most of the property. Although the staff had to jump into action and even work with the Red Cross to unflood everything, they continued to ensure that our comfort was a top priority. We were unfortunately unable to stay with them as the storms were due to continue throughout the next few days, so they arranged the remainder of our stay at another hotel in the area. Hotel Agnese deserves 5 stars!

Very nice location in Sestri Levante in a private estate - if you travel with a car this is a perfect retreat to discover Cinque Terre region - I will definitely recommend this place and the breakfast is delicious. Thanks for the great hospitality and very friendly staff!!

Amazing hotel with wonderful service. Deliscious breakfast, comfortable rooms and is reasonable prices. If I could I would give 6 or 7 stars.

Veri nice villa. Fantastic staff. Fare from sea but it is an advantage: very quiet, romantic and calm place.
