Imposantes Tor das den Eingang zum kleinen Ort Pereta schmückt. Der kleine Ort an für sich ist schon eine Perle, versteckt zwischen den Hügeln der abgeschiedenen ländlichen Toskana. Hier gibt es sehr schöne Ecken zu besichtigen und ein kleines Café unweit von Porta di Ponente entfernt bietet Espresso, Erfrischungsgetränke und kleine Speisen zu günstigen Preisen an. Der Ort ist noch ein kleiner Geheimtipp, in welchem sich zumindest morgens so gut wie keine Touristen verirren.
