Loved every dish: the goat cheese plate and the sweet cous cous are to die for but everything was absolutely delicious, massive wine list and prices in general are very reasonable. A few more smiles from the staff wouldn't have hurt but they were always very kind, and luckily we sat in the smaller room so it was very cosy and quiet!

Highly recommended! A place serving sophisticated sicilian cuisine in a non-touristy area. The food and the wine were equally great, and excellent value for money. My highlight was my dessert: a zingy, refreshing mandarine jelly with mint, not too sweet, exactly what you need after a big meal!

Truly beyond expectations at every level, and a meal at an incredible value that could be easily 2x the cost in other cities. Very professional service staff and feels like a true fine dining experience with the fantastic food to match.

We had a fantastic dinner here! Everything tasted superb, and the service was really kind - slow food comes indeed slowly, but no regrets if you have enough Prosecco in your glass! You definitely want to try the cheese plate as an appetizer.

One of the best restaurants I visited in Sicily. The restaurant belongs to the slow food movement. The food was accordingly first class. It was all very tasteful and of excellent quality and absolutely fresh. Every bite was a pleasure. The wine, like all other ingredients, came from Sicily and was excellent. The ambience was very nice. The service was very good. The only thing you have to do is make a reservation in advance. Otherwise, alternatively, try to pass after 10 p.m. Then you usually have a chance to get a seat without reservation. The restaurant convinced me so much that I even went there a second time and burst another restaurant reservation for it.

If you just want to eat something in rush, please go somewhere else. This is for me a Very comfortable place and they have very nice service. The decorations are very shiny and beautiful to take pictures.
I got the advice from the friendly lady, you can exactly feel the heart of the chef, make simple things just different. Different kinds of breads, if you are a group you may enjoy more than me, as I was along. The dry tomatoes from Etna and the olive, they were a little bit to salty but would be very suitable if you have some wine, pity that I don’t drink wine.
And enjoy the food, enjoy the time inside this restaurant.
And the cappuccino, the first time of my life I have to put sugar inside.😂I doubt that I paid one but got two!!!

Highlight of our stay in Catania! We started off with a cheese and charcuterie selection, they also brought a selection of homemade bread! We asked for recommendations on the main courses and they did not disappoint at all! Both fish were heavenly! The cous cous dessert was something else! A definite must have!
The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! Recommend 💯!

This is an absolutely amazing place to eat truly traditional and delicious Sicilian food. The owner is a very friendly woman whose goal is satisfy not only the gastronomical taste of her guests, but also the aesthetic one, as her restaurant is perfectly decorated to the detail. You definitely have to visit it!

We went because suggested by friends. The restaurant didn't disappoint our expectations. Good atmosphere and great selection of dishes, from starters to desserts each one of them has something special. The staff is very professional and friendly. Recommended.

This restaurant has exceeded my expectations. I ordered the white fish with pistachio crusted and potato cream, it was hands down one of the most well done dishes I’ve eaten. I didn’t want it to end, it was perfect. Thank you so much for this experience. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Simple and straight forward Sicilian traditional cousine, very well presented. Service also excellent. Prices surprisingly affordable. They fully deserve the "gourmand" mention on the Micheline guide. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists.

A nice location with wonderful interior and furnished. One can decide if you want sit at the bistro or in the restaurant. Possible is also to sit outside, looks however not so comfortable.

Delicious seafood and mortadella selection. Friendly waiters and nice inside decoration/architecture. The kitchen is visible from many tables, so it is cool seeing the chef preparing the food. Everything is really fresh. House wine is good.

Classic Italian food uncompromised by the changing times. Worth a Michelin star for the food.

We went here in June 2022 after watching Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. The staff were friendly and attentive. They brought out a selection of amazing homemade breads which were free. We then had some pasta and tiramisu which were both excellent and not forgetting the lovely cocktails too! We’d throughly recommend coming here. It’s a little tucked away and scenery isn’t amazing but don’t let this put you off. A must when you visit Catania.

Was at the top of Rick Steve's Sicily tourist list and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent. If you're looking for a really nice sit down dinner here in Catania, go here. A+
