Excursions Etna Sicily Touring

I had the privilege of participating in the guided tour of Etna by Sicily Touring, and the experience was simply phenomenal! From the beginning, our guide, Thomas, demonstrated an in-depth knowledge and a contagious passion for this majestic volcano and the surrounding area. The ascent up to 2200 meters was an exciting adventure filled with breathtaking views that will remain etched in my memory forever.

But the experience was not limited to just the excursion on Etna. Thomas led us through a path that included visiting a fascinating cave, where we could closely admire the geological wonders of the volcano. The tour continued with a tasting of Sicilian wines and oils, delighting our palates and offering us an authentic taste of local excellence.

Every stage of the tour was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in each experience without any worries. Thomas's courtesy and professionalism made the journey even more enjoyable, always making us feel comfortable and responding enthusiastically to all our questions.

One of the best guided tours I have ever been on. Mario was so kind and I learned more about volcanoes than I ever did in school. Along with the tour we had a lovely wine tasting, also fabulous. We look forward to coming back and having Mario take us on more tours.

We took the half day tour of Etna. It was a good experience as the guide explains about the creation of Etna and some local history.
The places we went to can be reached if you're on your own as well. I wish we had the time to take the cable car further up the mountain.
In retrospect, we should have taken the full tour.

We took the sunset tour and it was amazing. Mario is such a charismatic and knowledgeable guide, a true joy to have him show us around. The experience was great!

Just had a great tour of Etna with Andrea and Francesco. Francesco delivered us safely in a very comfortable van to each destination, and Andrea was extremely knowledgeable, not only about Etna, but also about Sicily in general. We did an excursion up in Etna mountain with Fabio. He drove us safely and carefully up and down the mountain despite the snow. He also had so many information to share with us being himself a geologist. Very environmental respectful and an excellent guide! We will surely visit again in spring or summer to see the volcano without the snow! Saluti dalla Grecia! ✌

I was going on the Etna Sunset Tour and it was a great trip. Fantastic views, professional guide. I think this half-day excursion was perfect as my first experience on mountain Etna. Highly recommended.

Alberto was an AMAZING guide. Despite heavy winds the night before, and trees and debris strewn all over the roads, he still managed to take us on a great tour. Highly recommended.

Simona, who workes on info desk, was more then helpful with her suggestions for excursions and with all the info that we needed to know. Besides that she direct us and draw on the map places in Catania to visit, where to eat, where to go out etc. With all historical and fun fact about those places. Very vivid!
