Ristorante La Brace Cefalù

The service, food and prices are second to none! One of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. Our waitress listen to what we wanted and recommended everything from the wine, appetizer , main course and dessert. Complimentary Lemoncello to end a fabulous meal. Mostly locals. Don’t hesitate.

Fabulous little laneway, a bright red door is the entrance to La Brace.

Feel like you have stepped back in time to the 1940’s. The stylish wooden bar and the posters on the wall, the dimly lit tables and the muted red walls are stylish warm and welcoming

The kitchen window allows you visual access to the world with in.

The staff, which are family are welcoming and friendly, mum even comes out from the kitchen to check on you.

The menu is classic and every plate is served with passion.

The bruschetta with anchovies a delight and fresh, the mixed salad and a glass of vino Rosso delicious

The the beef tornadoes perfectly cooked and local fresh vegetables

The rolled beef and the Kabab charred and perfect, medium rare

The home made meatballs with potato mash was wonderful

Bread olive oil and vinegar appeared without mention

If you visit Cefalu then Le Brace is a must. We could not get a walk in table but managed to reserve a table for the next night.
We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and easily makes my top 5 meals of all time.
If you get a chance then go.

Good food, great service, reasonable prices. French-Sicilian fusion. Small menu in a cozy setting is a nice touch. Reservation is recommended.

This is definitely one of the best restaurant in Sicily. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.
There is no outside area for sitting, but restaurant has very cosy and traditional interier.
Food is delicious. There is no big choice, but food is fresh and so full of taste.
We had rabbit and meatballs and I will never forget that amazing taste.
It's not posh, is traditional and classic food made with love. Like from your grandma. Definitely come to eat here if you wanna taste true Sicily.

This is THE place to have dinner!!!! They open at 7:30pm, however, plan ahead as they are always booked, so make a reservation. If you are looking for a family owned restaurant, this is it! They understand food allergies and speak very good english. They were very welcoming and the service was great!!! They have local house wine for good price and the food is FANTASTIC!!!! I ordered the steak special and my husband order the steak with mushrooms…both were over the top so good!!! The steak was cook perfectly for both of us, and the garlic and herb butter on top of the steak was the “cherry on top”. OMG!!! If you only have one restaurant to go to in Cefalu, this is the one! We even made a reservation for another night! Cheers!

So good and tender tornado meat accompanied by tasty contorni and excellent wines. The staff were wonderful in their kindness to help us with the booking. About that, book your table at least 2-3 days before arrival since this restaurant is highly recommended. Also, price worthy for all that super tasty food.

It's a wonderful place and very authentic! Food is fresh, delicious, home-like. I had fresh vegetables as a starter (with a mindblowing sauce as a dip), traditional sicilian meatballs and tiramisu. Staff is fantastic, attentive and very helpful when it comes to food selection. It's a must when in Cefalu! I would definitely come back. Also big thanks to the owner for finding me a table at a convenient time (given it was rather last-minute reservation):)

The kindest owner with the best possible home made food. We haven't had the greatest experience with sicilian cuisine , but Ristorante La Brace definitely saved the impression. If you are in Cefalu, don't miss to book a table here !

Small, quality restaurant with the most divine food. The man who runs/owns it, was super efficient and very attentive to all diners and he seemed to do much of the ordering and serving alone - so make sure to book ahead as it gets busy!
I ordered the spicy pasta with tomato/gorgonzola which was divine! And the meatballs 😋! Best I have had in Italy to date (and been here 2 years!). Don't miss this gem when in Cefalù. I will be back :)

Great place! Very good Italian cuisine cooked by (guessing) mother and daughter and son is a waiter. Very fast service and really good atmosphere. Besides the everyday menu there are always few “dishes of the day”. 100% can recommend you will need reservations to eat here.

This is the best family owned restaurant that we've been to in Sicily since we've moved here! The mom that was cooking is THE BEST cook. The atmosphere was comfortable, the workers were so nice and even helped us pronounce the menu correctly. The spoke great English. Everything was just perfect! Definitely eat here while in Cefalu

This place is so much more than a restaurant - it's a fantastic experience of food cooked with love. We had been in Sicily for 2 months before visiting and this was our best meal to date. Definitely try the daily specials and try as many dishes to share as possible. Thank you so much! We will definitely be returning!

This is one of my favorite place in Sicily. The service was perfect, very friendly and it feels very familiar there. I read the son is in the service and the mother cooks in the kitchen. We loved the food. Every course was perfect. Try it! I recommend to make a reservation, but if you are ok to eat late, around 10 pm. Then it should be easy to get a table.

great food, very friendly servers. we got the herring to start and the spicy rigatoni, steak, and rabbit. wine was very flavorful and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality

Perfect restaurant with very polite staff. Helpful with menu presetation and explanation. Steak "la Brace" was delicious, medium rare made with vegetable. Cool restaurant with nice athmosphere. Alfons Mucha pictues on wall (Slovak famous artist) were nice additional bonus 😎

Favourite restaurant we tried in Cefalu. Friendly service, delicious food at a reasonable price. Steak was particularly good. Best to get a reservation though, as we had to come back the following day. It’s also just indoor seating.

What a great place! Perfect trattoria experience. Lovely atmospheric interior. The food is unbelievably good - had the best pasta of our entire trip here (rigatoni with tomato, Gorgonzola and chilli). Very friendly and helpful staff who gave a lot of in depth advice about what wine to choose. Definitely give it a visit while in Cefalu. (Also bring cash if you want to tip afterwards because we discovered you can’t add it to the bill payment).

My friend and I had an amazing dinner in this restaurant!! That’s extremely cosy family restaurant, the chef cooks, serves and talk to the guests, the stuff is really nice and friendly!! An amazing warm place with awesome food and desserts🤍 thanks for making special our evening and time in Cefalú ♥
