Villa Ponti Bellavista- Best villa in Italy

This is a place you will walk into and have your breath taken. It is spectacular. The view is so beautiful you will keep having to check it’s even real.
The rooms are very well appointed, beautifully dressed and the beds the same quality as some of the best hotels in the world. We slept extremely well, sinking into the comfortable beds.
The hosts went above and beyond for us!

The sauna and pool overlook the stunning Lake Como as well. Such a treat.
Luxury in its finest form. This is the place you will keep thinking of, returning to and telling your friends about.

Everything about our stay was amazing. To start with, everything was super clean and spotless!

The house from the inside is beautiful, spacious and exquisitely furnished. As a content creator it made me want to film my videos in each and every corner of the house! I never make content during vacations but this house made me want to have as much memories of that house as possible. I also gave my followers in my stories a tour of the house inside and out which they loved and were in awe! I didn’t feel I need to drive anywhere for a change. I just wanted to spend all our vacation days there relaxing.

You will have everything that you need there: toiletries, clean towels, large tissue boxes in every bathroom, all kinds of coffee making machines and water boiler. Also a dishwasher, washing machine and iron table. Free and fast wifi!

5 bedrooms and two large living areas (one of them is a game room) with dining tables. There is also a large outdoors dining table on the kitchen porch.

Also the kitchen drawers have some spices and herbs for those who would like to enjoy preparing their own meals there! You’ll also find olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the kitchen counter.

From the inside you have a beautiful and breathtaking view from every room which are also very well lit during the day.

The surrounding of the house is so green and magical! You have a view of the lake and the green green forest.

I really can’t wait to come back again in summer to enjoy more of the view while spending time outdoors around the pool and use the sauna and jacuzzi.

Not to forget how AMAZING Barbra is!

My family and I spent an INCREDIBLE week at VillaPonti. The villa is gorgeous, super comfortable, very well equipped AND the views are STUNNING. We especially loved having family time around the fireplace, on the balconies and in the pool area. The hosts Chanel and Barbara were attentive, accommodating and super friendly. Definitely the BEST accommodation in the area!

Beautiful place, responsive hosts, historic Villa Ponti on the hill of Lake Como, wonderful scenic views of nature, I especially recommend it to those who like walking in the mountains. Loved the pool and sauna overlooking the lake.

Imagine the ultimate vacation sweet spot in paradise, and your imagination will never ever come close to the actual surreal experience of Villa Ponti Bellavista on Lake Como. Situated in what has to be the most idyllic spot on the entire lake. Villa Ponti Bellavista commands a view of the Lecco branch of Lake Como that mere photos and video will never do justice. It truly has to be experienced and savored first hand. And even then, you have to pinch yourself and keep asking "Am I dreaming!". This was literally what my wife and I asked each other numerous times over the course of our visit in the fall of 2021.

Time stands still in this timeless place. We spent one entire afternoon lounging around the amazing infinity edge pool that has one of the most amazing views of Lake Como that has to be seen to be believed. The Sauna next to the pool is an added bonus. The palatial grounds rival most resorts that we've stayed at. All of this taken together took us to our Zen zone and made us forget the prior day of travel and it was the perfect tonic for our jet lag.

The inside of the Villa is just as breathtaking. The suites are well appointed and spacious. The Bellagio Suite was our favorite and the balcony right off the suite meant we could could continue to take in the lake view and the majestic mountains beyond.

We felt it was pointless to leave the Villa but, we had made dinner reservations in nearby Bellagio town center. Which was a quick fifteen minute car ride away. Which made us appreciate even more how special VPB was because it was so close to everything and yet a world away in the seclusion it provides. Situated in the charming village of Civenna it is truly pure magic.

And you couldn't ask for better hosts than Barbara & Chanel. They saw to it that we wanted for nothing. From tips on restaurants and places to visit around the lake to recommendations on Italian wines. Our favorite to this day is the Amarone.

If you're looking for a first-class experience in a world-class Villa this is the place. We're already planning our next trip. Grazie mille Barbara & Chanel. You've both created something unique and special at Villa Ponti Bellavista, and we've created memories that will last a lifetime as a result.

This villa was the best part of the most incredible vacation I have ever taken. The property is truly stunning, the views of the lake are unbeatable, the terrace is massive, and most importantly - Barbara and Chanel were some of the most communicative and accommodating hosts I’ve ever come across.

They answered all my questions before and during the trip, and even personally drove us down to the lake with little notice when we couldn’t find a taxi.

Imagine morning coffee overlooking lake como, a run along the hills of Civenna followed by a post workout sauna, hanging by the pool all afternoon, play bocce ball overlooking the lake and mountains with a Negroni in your hand, and a private chef cooking a meal for you and 8 of your closest friends. That was our experience at Bella vista and we are already looking to plan a trip back next year.

We stayed in this paradise with my partner and some friends. The house is incredible and the views are the most beautiful in the world. We enjoyed the infinity pool and the balconies, where we had breakfast and dinner with the view of the lake in the background. The rooms are beautiful and very complete, with super comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Super recommended to disconnect very close to Milan.

Location Location Location with superb view overlooking Lake Como. Unique villa restored to it's late 1960's style and decor. Enjoyed a very relaxing, peaceful few days with short drives to local towns for great cuisine and walks. Thanks to our gracious host Barbara for a wonderful stay!

So impressed with the Villa, not to mention the amazing views. The amenities were perfect, dip in the pool to cool off through the day and sat in the snug by the fire on a night. Perfect! We had such an amazing few days there, can not recommend enough.

It combines traditional Italian style with all the modern comforts.

The property, with an extremely unique design, offers priceless lake views from its vertiginous rock-face position: sheer heaven, literally.

Swimming pool and jacuzzi were out of action given the time of year (stay in February 2022). This was perfectly understandable and did not detract from the stay.

We used the property as a base for skiing excursions to the local resorts (approximately 1.5hr drive) but we loved the property so much that we opted out of skiing for a few days to enjoy the location.

Highly recommend and very responsive manager/owner who is able to arrange a private chef on request (which we utilised) and other personal touches as required.

What a wonderful experience that began w/helpful answers & recommendations from Barbara who knows every corner of Lake Como & we cannot say enough positive things about Alvaro whose kindness, perception & fascinating facts added so much to our visit! One of our favorite meals was from a “local cooking mama” - both delicious & reminiscent of times at grandmas table. And, of course, the villa was lovely! We were delighted w/the expansive views from multiple windows & from the balconies where we sat w/our morning coffees listening to the sounds of birds, feeling surrounded by an aviary & later relaxed w/apéritifs, enjoying the ringing from nearby bell towers. It was the perfect peaceful setting to unplug & unwind. Come for the location - return for the spectacular views & kind people!

You walk into the Villa Ponti Bellavista and make your way to the wall of windows to take in the magnificent view. You are now enchanted. Your eyes will be rewarded with a view like no other. You will now be hard pressed to do all of the things you anticipated doing in Lake Como because it will be difficult to pull yourself away from this place. And that's ok because the villa has everything you could want. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a pool and sauna, even a bocce court. It's like having your own private park to enjoy. There are several balconies to hang out on, again to just take in your surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking a bit and eating outside on the cute patio right outside the kitchen door. It is a short drive into Bellagio where you can catch the ferry to go to other towns on the lake. Barbara and Chenel are very attentive and really strive to make your stay the best it can be. If you are considering a stay, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

My partner and I recently spent a weekend with friends in Villa Ponti. Situated in a quiet village on top of Lake Como, we enjoyed the snow seen on the mountains top and the Christmas atmosphere in the village and in the nearby Bellagio Town. Despite the winter atmosphere, almost all of the villa interior and it's balconies are beautifully washed with almost magical warm light. Built in mid century by one of the famous Italian architects, the villa will surprise you with its carefully chosen stylish interior design and yet top modern facilities. Definitely something for fashion and design lovers! The place is perfect for bigger groups of friends or family getting together for special event.

The best villa I have ever stayed at, and it's not even close! The pool area with the views of Lake Como are so incredible that is doesn't even look real. The living room is James Bond-esque with floor to ceiling views of the Lake. There is so much I could say about this villa but a big mention also goes to the owners - Barbara and Chanel, who were so attentive and generally fantastic hosts. Lake Como (Civenna) is one of my favourite places on this planet and I can't speak highly enough... You simply MUST visit Villa Ponti Bellavista!

Villa Ponti Bellavista is simply stunning. The views alone are breathtaking and the gardens and grounds absolutely beautiful. The architecturally designed 1960s villa complete with period furniture and original 60s bathrooms and marble staircase is huge and can more than accommodate a large extended family group and cater for small wedding parties too. Check out the photos of the infinity pool!! Barbara the owner is a fabulous cook and can prepare simple Italian meals for you upon request if you give her enough notice. We got the best deal booking direct :-).

Very confortable house: fully equipped kitchen, full bathrooms and great bedrooms with views of the lake too.
The sauna and swimming pool are a big plus for winter and summer times.
A lot of space for parking. Even with a BBQ grill……
You can have a very nice meal at the balcony too.
And….. the wifi works perfect in every single corner of the house.

Amazing private location and property on the hillside overlooking the lake. With multiple areas for a large group and great kitchen, it was perfect for 12 women travelling! We loved the hot tub, sauna and playing bocce. Owners were helpful in coordinating events for us, sharing garden and very communicative!
