Perfect high-end Bianchi bikes, great staff, and service. Rented bikes for a week to ride around Lake Como and it was the experience of a lifetime. Rental includes everything you need to stay safe and fix basic mechanical issues on the side of the road - on first day we had a chain snap and when they weren’t able to fix it on the road, they drove out a replacement bike so we could keep going. Can’t recommend this shop enough!

Simply incredible. Bike It Bellagio has to be the best bike outfitter I've used. Myself and 6 other guys had a custom route planned across the Alps over 5 days and Casey was the only one who answered the call and made it happen for us. Between the bikes (beautiful Bianchis with Di2 shifters), the communication (quick, honest, frequent), the pricing, and our guide, Luca (pro-cycler and great human all around) we couldn't have imagined it going so smoothly.

If you're biking in the Como area or are planning an ambitious trip to the surrounding alpine passes, look no further than Bike it Bellagio.

Had an incredible experience with Bike It! Bellagio last weekend. The communication was clear and the team worked with us to make sure we had the right experience. We did the Como and Lugano Border Crossing route with Luca and he was an excellent tour guide! Had beautiful weather, a good challenging ride and overall a wonderful day thanks to the team. Would definitely recommend for great bikes, communication, fair pricing and location.

We shared the most incredible scenic ride with Alex as our guide. Alex is an enthusiastic cyclist who safely navigated us through small towns, countryside and all the way to the top of a mountain to visit Madonna del Ghisallo, a church dedicated to cyclists. The bike museum was terrific too! Alex clearly outlined our trip before we left and was proactive in describing upcoming intersections, turns and photo opportunities. She was very positive throughout the day except if a car would come too close when she would spout off some colourful Italian curses to our enjoyment. Lol! A highlight of the day was a plentiful lunch of local specialties at a Biker’s Hotel high above Bellagio! I would highly recommend this tour to bikers of all levels. The turbo level e-bike easily got me to the top of the mountain while my husband mostly muscled through the day with much less assist for his enjoyment.

Our family of 4 from the USA had an unbelievable trip to Bellagio highlighted by a Bike It! tour around lake Como. Garbriele was our guide for the day, which began at the shop, continued on with a ferry ride across the lake and a tour up lake Como to the north through many villages that concluded at the Sorsasso vineyard in Domaso. We rode great, well serviced, like new, Bianchi e-bikes for about 30k - our family has different cycling abilities and fitness and we all loved it. These ebikes are terrific. If you want a regular mountain bike or to do some road riding, this shop has it all. They will dial in your fit on the bike for your preferred riding position. Garbriele and the team at Bike It! made it all very special for us. He took us on some moderate climbs, narrow alleys, village streets, woods, tunnels, kms of paths next to the lake and stops along the way describing all the local history and flavor. You immediately can tell how much Garbriele enjoys taking out the tours - he makes sure everyone in your group has a great time! The afternoon lunch and service at the Sorsasso was just unreal. Sample some of the best wine in the region and you can have it shipped home for help with the reentry! After lunch, we were picked up in a van by Filippo and Mario, who could not have been more engaging and helpful. This is a must do excursion for any family that would like an active experience on lake Como that will be remembered for a lifetime. Take plenty of video and photos. Pick up some shop jerseys to sport on your local rides back home. We will definitely be back. Bravo Bike It!

Rented a Bianchi for three days. Great place to rent top of the range bicycles. From here you can climb up to Madonna del Ghisallo and the Wall of Sormano. Bianchi bikes are in excellent condition and staff are well qualified and have everything you may need. Gels and energy bars are in good supply. If you don’t want to bring your own bike but wish to ride something similar then this is the place. Never felt like I was riding a rental bike as everything worked perfectly. Only a short walk from Bellagio ferry. They have a change room and some lockers where you can leave a change of clothes for when you return the bike. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Bike It Bellagio was a great rental experience all around. The Bianchi Oltre I rented for five days was perfectly tuned, quiet and fast. Luca shared a variety of Garmin GPX routes, which makes such a difference when riding unfamiliar roads. I was staying in Como, so I recommend the Smugglers route for amazing views, climbs, descents and a little adventure. My partner and I also joined the Thursday e-bike tasting tour which was delightful and delicious.

A day that we will remember forever! Our guide Gabriela was outstanding. He was approachable, friendly, kind and peaceful. We met at the bike shop which is an easy walk from downtown Bellagio. E bikes were in excellent condition and easy to maneuver if you have never tried one. The tour was an all day ride that ended at a gorgeous winery. We are moderate bikers and it was perfect. We rode on all types of terrain; street, along the lake, thru neighborhoods, on some gravel and some dirt roads. All parts were accessible, yet with each change of scenery it felt like a new ride. Gabriela stopped to point out some historical and also local points of interest. The winery was picturesque and Silvia (the wine maker) (who’s smile lit up the room) provided a wine tasting and lunch that was delicious in a relaxed atmosphere. This tour is the best part of our trip in Bellagio! Truly outstanding! Thank you Casey and Bike It Bellagio!

We were so glad to discover Bike It Bellagio! and experience the phenomenal cycling network in the Lake Como region. We rented two Bianchi road bikes from the shop which is conveniently located just outside of the center of Bellagio (and walking distance from town) on the route to the famed Madonna di Ghisallo, and everything was ready for us when we arrived at the shop. We just brought our road pedals from home, they installed them quickly, and off we went on our first of many adventures. Luca and Casey, the delightful Italian-American couple who founded the shop , are expert road, gravel and mountain cyclists; Casey’s a triathlete too, and they know hundreds of scenic, challenging or mellow routes in the Lake Como region. If you’re independent and adventurous, they’re happy to share GPX files for you to navigate. They also offer guided rides and supported trips too which sound very tempting. One of our favorite routes they recommended began with a short ferry ride from Bellagio to Caddenabia where we tackled a few challenging climbs en route to Lugano in Switzerland, then hugged the north shore of Lake Lugano to return to the ferry and back to Bellagio. We did the Ghisallo climb twice and took the easier main road Colma da Sormano to avoid the super tough Muro di Sormano. If you’re a cycling couple with mismatched abilities, Bike It Bellagio! also rents ebikes and this is a great way to experience the beauty of the area without stressing about the hills. The shop specializes in Bianchis and has a very nice selection of Italian cycling apparel and components too. It’s very easy to find apartments to rent in Bellagio and it’s a perfect spot for a cycling vacation. Next time we’d stay a month or more instead of just a week because there are so many roads we did not get to ride and there are so many villages and places to explore all over the Lake Como region. We look forward to our next trip and getting more great ride recommendations from Casey and Luca. Highly recommend!

It was a couple of years ago my family set up a day trip adventure tour with Bikeit Bellagio that still gets talked about.
There was a group of 9 of us between the ages of 30 and 75 with 2 guides that were awesome. We met then at a certain spot where they brought the bike and helmets. We also used electric bikes so that we were all on the same level of cycling. A few of us in the group were road cyclists. The route we did was very beautiful and scenic,we took turns of pictures. When we got to the top of the mountain there was a restaurant where we took a break and had a few drinks and something to eat before heading back down.
I would definitely recommend Bikeit Bellagio if you ever want to take a bike ride around Lake Como no matter what level of cyclists you or your group is. They have all different types of bikes such as road bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes.
I would definitely do this again if I am ever in the Lake Como area and is one of our favourite adventures all time

The Best Day! An all day ride on & off terrain to a vineyard! Luca was amazing, the bikes were the best e-bikes you can own and the food and wine were fantastico! I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience with Luca & Casey. A group of 8 of us rented excellent Bianchi bikes and toured around Lago di Como for 5 days. Luca & Casey were very helpful and extremely accommodating. The bikes were excellent and the shop also has some lovely cycling gear.
We will be back for sure!

Discovering some of the secrets of Laco di Como riding a bike... thanks to Casey an Lucca... what a Awesome rides.
First experience: *Into the Wild Side*, 70kms ride (2000m d+)small villages small roads rought tarmac with wonderfull landscapes happy and polite people... true mountain road bike.
I ask me: why thei know (Casey and Lucca) is that kinds of experiences that i loved *out of the box*
Second Experience: *Ghisllo and Sormano* (50kms 1300m d+)... but i want to ride it - La Madonna de Ghisallo (amazing spot) with the small curch museums of cycling, if it is your first time you need to spend some time tasting the envirement. Them into the mountain green and deep valey... the way to Sormano: first part of the climb 5-6 kms (7% medium) then the monster:
the Muro di Sormana 1700m lenght, 280m d+ (850 to 1130m), 17% avg climb, 5% min an 25% max. A real challenge to your legs. If you can ridevit with no stop (hard job: i did it) but please eanjoy the moment stop and breath the details... this is one of best well knowns sectors of the world tour Tour di Lombardia (automm classic monument)

I will confess iam i bike lover a bike lover and love to ride wherever i go... Lucca and Cassey understood very well the kind of rider iam a the time i had (holidays with my family... just a few hours to ride) and they sugest me The Top.
Thank you so much... Cassey, Lucca and Lucca.
I love Bike It Bellano.

Casey and Luca are so helpful, they helped us get all the kit and prepped us for riding around Lake Como including reviewing our route and giving us some tips. The bikes were in top condition, lovely to ride and all the gear they provided was clean, comfortable and good quality too. They made everything so easy and we had the best day on some of the best bikes I've ever ridden. Thanks to both of you!

We did the Wine Tasting bike tour. It was a fabulous day. Luca was an amazing guide with so much local information. The vistas and villages we explored were magical. The vineyard and lunch were also top notch. A lovely family owned vineyard with homemade lunch. So much love an pride by the family. I would recommend any bike tour that fits your needs with Luca. Thank you. The best day!

I had a short 2 days break in Bellagio area.
Contacted with Luca by mail asking for an e-bike.
Received immediate response.
When I came, Luca and the bike were waiting for me together with a big smile.
Luca is always smiling.
I explained him my biking level and wishes and together we fixed 2 gpx files.
