Alla Torretta

Great room! A nice walk from Bellagio. I miss the cute pedestrian trail before the 2 right turns of the road... so far the room is beyond my expectations. Bright. Spacious. Good view with a nice breeze. I can't wait to walk around and take pictures! And have one of their pizzas!

Fantastic Italian villa with original architecture and furniture. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a swimming pool and kids playground outside plus on-site restaurant with a playroom for kids. Hospitable and responsive staff. We loved the lakefront, the gardens of villa Metzi and the food everywhere!

Very well priced room for the area (and was huge with a really nice balcony, plus our kiddo enjoyed the playground out the back), decent breakfast, and also does excellent pizzas!

Lovely, old, elegant building, well maintained and with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Stunning views from bedroom window. There is a pizzeria downstairs that makes wood fired, wonderful pizzas and saves you having to go out looking for dinner on one of your nights. Good location, with a pedestrian underpass roughly 50m downhill from the Alla Torretta gate. (Please note that sturdy shoes are required.) The steps descend down an old, cobbled path that leads you down the hill, safely away from the busy road. If you follow it to the end, it pops you out onto Via Valassina, just up from Villa Giulia.

Excellent service! Friendly staff! My wife and I had to change plans for other accommodations late at night and when we tried to find another place we found Alla Torretta. We called thinking that they would not be able to take us on such short notice, but instead were told that there were some rooms available. We chose which room we wanted and came in to take care of the rest of the check in. The accommodations here were much better than the original place we were staying. Great place!

A cozy hotel and a warm welcome. Clean room, bathroom and a delicious breakfast.

The room was big, antique and felt like I was visiting my relatives.

During the breakfast, the owner asked us if we want other kind of breakfast than the one already available.

The hotel is not in the center of the town, but is close.

La Torretta (the ristorante): [2018] Beautiful staff, better than the other side (Bellagio) food, and great American ~> Italia introduction. Plentiful seating (wooden). Home feeling. Prompt table service. Good price. Open early. Reservations available. Family friendly. Extra large pizzas in size. Did not try the wine selection on this visit. Absolutely excellent pizzas. We were in Bellagio during the low season and this was one of few places still open. Absolutely spoilt for choice with excellent pizzas, and they even tell you the story behind their dough. Thoroughly enjoyed their Porpora and Reale pizzas. Really good service too. 10/10 would go back again.

Definitely the best place for genuine Italian pizza in Bellagio. We have been in Bellagio for one week so far and it’s (surprisingly) very difficult to find a restaurant which does proper, fresh pizza with a pizza oven. The only ones which do and are well-rated are Torretta and BabaYaga steakhouse and pizza (the latter we didn’t try as it’s not an authentic Italian atmosphere). You’d be surprised at how many places down by the water give you frozen pizzas or pre-baked dough.

The pizza at Torretta is absolutely delicious and fresh including the dough.

Service was very friendly, much better than the average standard in Bellagio from our experience - we weren’t rushed and the atmosphere gave us a warm, “home-like” feeling.

My pizza was spicy salami with peppers (and I added garlic too), my partner’s was gorgonzola and apple (she added ham too).

Beautiful little b&b. We had a room with views across the garden and to the hills. The pizzeria is always busy and filled with locals - worth booking if you want to have your evening meal here.

I review a restaurant that is in that place not an accomodation. Two words: Wonderful pizza. It's dealicious and I enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff and resonable prices. The best place to eat in the Bellagio.
