Le Mandrie Di Ripalta

Having recently visited this place I felt like I was in heaven, beautiful views and so peaceful,
When we had dinner in the restaurant we were looked after by Elia and Gieole who are absolutely wonderful hosts, very helpful and Gioele was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the wine choice.
My only criticism would be the restaurant is very brightly lit and some ambient lighting/candles would have been perfect.

Excellent area, tremendous service from the restaurant and team. Great dinner options - mostly home-made, and a terrific selection of wines to pair. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and quiet location, staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, the mattress was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The restaurant had tasty breakfast and dinner options. I just would recommend adding more vegetables for the breakfast. The bugs and mosquitoes are present and can be an issue for someone but on the other you are in the middle of the nature. I definitely would come back and enjoy another stay here!

Great location for a quiet peaceful break. Very friendly and authentic staff who were all committed 100% to customer care. The ristorante is amazing; gorgeous tuscan home-cooking using all local ingredients accompanied by wines grown and produced within the landscape on view from the hotel terraces. Perfect.

I can't believe how lucky we were in finding this amazing hotel. The location is idyllic. Only 20-25 minutes away from Florence, one hour from Siena, 45 min from San Gimignano, and less than 2 hours from the Cinque Terre, making it the perfect place for day trips. The hotel is immersed in fields of olive trees, vineyards, and grains. The hotel has multiple accommodations divided into two main buildings. The main building also has a restaurant and a large pool.
All rooms have A/C. Rooms and the hotel are very clean.

Pros

The staff is outstanding. From the owner to the receptionist, the waiting staff, the cleaning staff, and the chefs. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your staying.

We can not drink regular milk, and despite the fact they have soy milk for breakfast, we asked if they had oat milk, and the owner personally made sure we had oat milk every morning for breakfast.

The location is perfect, and everywhere you look makes you feel like you are living inside a painting. It is very quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast is incredible. Everything is made fresh. It's a pretty extensive buffet. Coffee is fantastic. They serve all kind of baked goods, sweet and savory. In addition, they offer vegetables, as well as all kind of local curded meats and cheeses.

There is a happy hour before dinner. Dinner varies every night made by local chefs with local dishes made with fresh ingredients and very reasonable prices.

There is a large swimming pool with stunning views.
Coin laundry on the premise.

They produce their own wine, pasta, and oil olive (which they serve at the restaurant), and they are delicious.

Cons (I really have to nit pick here)

We got a standard room. For the price, the room is very specious. Mind you, this hotel used to be a former colonial farmhouse, so the rooms and bathrooms are in the classic Tuscan architecture. If you are expecting a Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton, etc.. type of room in the middle of Tuscany, you might want to reconsider your idea of a Tuscan country side vacation. Really, if I must whine about something, the bathroom was a bit on the small side. Also, the bed was a two twin beds joined together that formed a bed of the size of a queen bed. If you are a bit on the taller side, consider getting a superior room with larger beds...and really not even that more expensive than a standard. (When we stayed, everything else was sold out)

Sadly, our vacation came to an end, but Le Mandrie Di Ripalta is giving me the desire and motivation to come back in our next vacation.

Such a wonderful resort-style hotel and not too far from Firenze!
The Google directions took me to the wrong side of the valley, so double check that your destination, "B," pin is still where it should be, but my wife and I loved it from the moment we arrived. The apartments were a bucolic cottage style, with wine racks sitting in the foyer for you to grab one on the way out, to sit and enjoy the country side scenery; or in, to cozy up for the night.
The breakfast was really good (for Europe; I mean, no one does breakfast like America but compared to England and France, this was So much better). But dinner was flat out amazing! We each had different pastas and both were delicious, then we shared some mouth-watering pork chops. But the best part was the great service. Breakfast was buffet style but dinner was served by an older gentleman, who I assume was the owner. You order dinner beforehand so when you arrive at the restaurant you have a reserved table set and he brings drinks and the first course out within a few minutes. As you finish your courses he clears the plates and brings the next course. It's just wonderful. And for the price, you can't beat it.

Amazing facilities and the food at the restaurant for dinner is incredible! Have to admit, not much choice, but it doesn't even matter because you can't go wrong with any dish there. Also a 1.5m deep pool that's always beautifully well kept with many sunbeds. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good place to stay around those areas :D

This Agriturismo has so much charm. The breakfast was terribly tasty with fresh squeezed orange juice and the view from the property was amazing. Even the pool had a good size and was always clean. The rooms had a rustic style which was really cosy. The bathrooms were typically Italian, tiny a bit old but clean.
I would stay there again immediately and only a short drive to Florence. Perfect.

The place is very beautiful and the rooms are quite spacious. Their restaurant, although it does not have that many courses, they are mostly home made and very good. There are 2 villas actually, the restaurant is in one if them. There is about a 10 min walk to the restaurant from the other villa.

Excelente place to stay. Nice country side hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. Service is just perfect and, friendly. Swimming pool, locally made wine to try, beautiful landscapes, just a perfect spot. Must seen place.

Le Mandrie Di Ripalta was a beautiful spot to relax or a base to travel to other areas. Gorgeous views, sunsets, sunrise, the biggest pool I have seen (shaded area provided}, delicious meals and friendly helpful staff. Gluten free food was not a problem for them. Oh and fire flies at night! Amazing to watch. A car would be handy if planning to explore the area. The house sits about 1km off the main road on an unmade road. 5 minute drive to town "Montespertoli', 40 min drive to Siena. Our accommodation was typical Tuscan style. Colourful, bright, practical, clean and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We would definitely stay again.

Free bikes at your disposal. Nice pool. Nothing crazy luxurious, but great service, food hospitality and most of all a relaxing view over Tuscany!

Very kind staff. Great restaurant. Nice authentic rooms. Would recommend it for couples to enjoy some time off.
