Pleasant atmosphere the Italian way at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gennaro. Overlooking the port and mountains over the bay, dinner starts at 7p, the place is filling up quickly and we didn't disappoint as their pastas are really authentic and origin. Grilled Sea Brean - juicy and soft-tender. Prices are reasonable with roughly 25 Euro/pax without wines. Recommended.

Very satisfied with seafood (mussels, dorada, pasta with shrimps) and artichokes. Tiramisu and espresso also do not disappoint! Recommend.

Everything was so delicious. Particularly loved the ravioli, but the pesto pasta and pizzas were all great as well. Minestrone soup was very nice with pesto in the broth. Staff was very kind and efficient. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting Santa Margherita.

Delicious on both occasions! Returned because of the first nights dinner. Staff, food and service was great. Took me back to the flavours of my Nonna’s cooking. Portion sizes and pricing very good. Well worth the stop! Enjoyed a glass of house red wine, was very good as well. Too full for dessert. 😊

I have spent the whole week on the west coast of Italy trying new restaurants everyday. Here I ate the MOST DELICIOUS SEAFOOD PASTA EVER. They put a lot of seafood, not like always where its mostly pasta with some seafood as decoration.The seafood was all very fresh. Big shrimps and oysters. It was very delicious. Each staff member was very friendly and the service was excellent. This is a must try place I recommend for everyone!

We have been visiting Santa Margherita Ligure every year since 2002 apart from two years during the Covid pandemic. Marco together with his team always welcome us (Jan and David) with great warmth and friendliness. We do not understand the negative reviews because over the last twenty or so years we have found the food, the service, and the atmosphere always totally amazing. Together with our many friends over the years we have enjoyed countless lunches and dinners at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gennaro's.

Very good food being in the centre of the touristic Santa Marguarita. Tye place is on the street and loud from people chatter but expected for such places.

Tried Diavola pizza. Very tasty and the milanese veal with arugula and tomatoes, delicious!

Prices are very reasonable!

We fell upon this unassuming historic site that may otherwise appear touristy on the main thoroughfare near the water. The pasta bolognese and pasta vongole (clams) was spectacular. Our waiter was extremely helpful and patient. We had the best time! Highly recommend.

Perfect place to go for our first pizza in Italy during this trip. We asked for a table and despite not having reservations on a Saturday night, they took off a reserved sign for someone else at 9pm.

Pizza was great, tomato base was the perfect taste I was looking for. Drinks were served quick promptly, service was courteous and warm. As 9pm neared, they approached us to ask us for any desserts and coffee, which is usually a sign that to make you leave lol, but this was done courteously and politely. Thank you guys and keep it up!

Great restaurant, the food is very authentic Italian and the staff are lovely. When we arrived at the resturant we needed advice about the local bus service, the staff were so helpful. Prices are reasonable and the menu has lots of options, which you don't normally find in this area.

Very well located restaurant, with excellent service and a varied offer of dishes, ranging from very tasty pizzas (clay oven cooked) to fish and, of course, pasta.
