Il Giuncheto

We had a perfect stay here. The property is situated close to so many wonderful towns/wineries/activities. The location made it easy for us to explore in all directions with only a short drive. It is also close to a couple of towns in case you need groceries or pharmacy. The owners are lovely, welcoming people and made sure our stay was perfect.

The breakfast spread is divine, I felt like a celebrity eating here each morning. The views from the pool are stunning as well. The rooms are well sized, with plenty of bedding and pillows.

Make sure you eat lunch and dinner here at least once as well. They also have activities you can book such as bikes and horseback riding.

Would be an amazing location for a small destination wedding as well. 100% will recommend to others.

A beautiful family run property with only 5 rooms on site. Quiet, homely, very spacious and amazing attention to detail. Beautiful home cooked meals too with delicious drinks by the pool at very affordable prices. Couldn't recommend this place more - one of the best stays we've had!!!

Absolutely amazing accommodation if you are looking for a relaxed trip here in Tuscany. Family-run business, Domenico and his mom are super friendly and passionated about what they are doing. In addition to very good complementary breakfast, we also had two dinners, the food is simply delicious! We will definitely be back for another time!

Il Giuncheto was outstanding in every way—it made our anniversary getaway so special. The property is beautiful and our room was spacious and luxuriously decorated. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast with many outstanding options. The staff was very professional and more than hospitable. It’s just a short drive to many wonderful hill-towns and sites in southern Tuscany. I highly recommend Il Giuncheto! We hope to stay there again someday.

If I could give this place a higher rating, I would. The reviews true - this place is actual heaven on earth. Domenico and his mother are true angels. Domenico's passion and drive for someone so young is commendable and admirable. His dream to provide a place or pure relaxation is pretty much on point. And his desire to improve (an already excellent venue) is incredible.

Our stay was beyond perfect. Any request, was met without issue. We didn't have a car but Domenico ensured we were never 'stuck'. Granted, the only time we left was to go horse riding and again to catch the train to leave (very difficult day - haha).

The rooms are classic yet modern, the property is isolated yet close enough to other towns (if people want to explore), the pool is a great feature and the ability to order whatever you want exceeds what you may get at a 5 star hotel.

This hotel is rated 3 star for some reason… i can tell you this hotel rivals some of the top 5* hotels you have been to. I have no words to describe the staff. Unbelievably helpful and attentive. No problem too big or small. The room is immaculate with small touches that let you know its concept has been well thought out. The location is great. Not too far from local amenities but far enough that you feel away from any noise.

I planned to only stay one night. I’ll be staying longer now.

Simply WOW! From the beginning Domenico gives you the feeling of being at home. The property is beautifully located, a family business and very lovingly managed. Immediately upon arrival, Domenico shows you the beautiful property and explains some great info about the area.

The infinity pool which was made last year is really a dream. Domenico prepares on request a homemade dinner on the house terrace with a breathtaking sunset. The breakfast is small and rather on the sweet side but all very tasty and something for everyone.

Price performance is really very good here. Our room was extremely clean and very quiet. The entire property is still preserved with the historic walls from the royal period and quite impressive.

To put it in a nutshell, there is really nothing to complain about here and we felt incredibly comfortable. Many thanks again for this great hospitality.

Domenico went out of his way to be sure we enjoyed our time in Tuscany. Excellent recommendations for nearby wineries and towns to see with outstanding views for evening sunset dinners. The grounds and pool at Il Giuncheto are beautiful and the staff was very welcoming. Laundry services available by their staff, was a bonus for us. Breakfast buffet was presented beautifully with large assortment of pastries, cheeses, meats, breads, vegetables an fruit. Rooms are apart of an old stable from the Trequanda King in 1850. Refurbished to original authenticity. Beautiful, large rooms with views of the countryside. Accommodations, staff and cleanliness are all 5 stars. Would love to go back.

Wonderful place with an exceptional staff. We were travelling with a 1 year old baby and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Dinner on the terrace is great and location perfect for doing day trips to famous Montalcino & Montepulciano.

This place is truly amazing and super authentic. The property has his Tuscany charm and one of the big highlights is definitely the pool ! Domenico is one of the best host we ever had, friendly and helpful in every situation. Thank you so much for making us this holidays so unique. We will for sure come back and recommend you.

This place is truly a hidden gem - this is calm luxury at its finest! The whole property is family operated and you truly feel the passion that goes into running the hotel. The property is stunning and the pool area is newly built and spectacular! It is really private as every suite has a whole pergola with a lot of space to enjoy the pool.

Domenico went out of his way to help us feel welcome and at home. I wanted to surprise my financé with a special dinner & Domenico organized an amazing and unparalleled private dinner experience!

This place was beyond expectations. The rooms are very big and stunning. Loved the bathroom as well. The pool was a highlight with panoramic view. It was a perfect spot to relax.

But by far the best was Domenico. He did everything to make you feel at home and always helpful with tips and suggestions about your trip.

We will think about this place when we open the bottle of Brunello di Montalcino we bought from Domenico

Absolutely amazing stay here. Our group loved every minute. Domenico was an amazing host with incredible service and he and his mum made delicious meals (sometimes based off last minute requests) which made our stay super special. Super. Location, rooms and service. Lovely family run business with a great garden/pool and good quality dinner cooked just like you would expect. Only 5 rooms which is great if you don't like being g surrounded by too many people!

Beautiful venue very close to Montepulciano: calm, clean and cozy. The infinity pool is amazing, the breakfast delicious. The team is very accommodating, friendly and made us feel welcome. Would definitely return here in the future!

Nowadays we are rearly lucky enough to find places like this. We had a lovely 3 nights stay at Il Giuncheto. The place is stunning, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the nature. The room was very comfortable, sparkling clean and beautifully furnished. The new infinity pool is just amazing . Il Giuncheto is also a great starting point to visit famous wine regions of Montepulciano and Montalcino. What we really liked the most was the hospitality and kindness of Domenico. He made a big difference to our stay. He told us a lot about the Tuscany sights, wines, history, food and gave us great advices how to plan our trip to make the best of it. Renting e-bikes and going to Asciano/Krete senesi was one of the best experiences we had in Toscany. Can't wait to be back in a couple of years😊.
