Camping Valle Romantica

After camping all over Europe, this campground is my all-time favorite. The camping spaces are good size and separated by trimmed bushes. There is a small market that has all the essentials and more. But there are several surprises by this campground that make this one off the charts. I’m not going to describe them because I don’t want to give away the secrets, but this place is amazing. And to be able to drive five minutes to have an incredible Italian dinner on the lake is the best.

This is the only campsite we keep coming back to since over 10 years now. It has something very special and the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. We just love the place! It's our go-to place we know we'll relax and unwind.

The campsite grounds are just beautiful with plenty of flowers everywhere you look. It is in a fantastic location, not far from the town, surrounded by hills with an added bonus of a refreshing river. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending the best things to do nearby. We found the small food shop very convenient, for fresh baked products and fruit and vegetables. The sanitary block nearest to our tent was a bit old but clean and in working order (and I haven't seen the other ones).

Lovely family owned camping with relaxed atmosphere. Very well looked after flowers and plans everywhere. Pool area is very clean and nice. Restaurant food was fresh and tasty with friendly service. Camping is right next to a river that is perfect for swimming and water is crystal clear from the mountains! Lots of good hiking paths around and a nice about 15min walk to the town by the river.

One of the most beautiful camping i ve been to yet! Next to a small river (where you can take a swim) - small shop with good prices and fresh food.

Quiet, family friendly place, very nice location and environment (river beaches!). Lots of space and ground is just hard enough to hold the tent securely. Clean bathrooms and plenty of them. Hot water day and night. Paid internet and electricity though. Friendly management.

For hikers and bikers: the water is clean for drinking and the natural water from the source nearby (Carlina) is good for both drinking and cooking (no residue).

Beautiful camping, swimming at the camping in the river, beautiful path for biking or walking either down to town and lake, or up to the cave / waterfalls. Nice little shop and exceptionally nice hosts/staff. Restaurant on the campground is nice, too.

What an incredible campsite, I have seen many campsites and this must be the most beautiful, it's surrounded by green hills with stunning views but still not to far from cannobio town.
The site staff were very friendly and helpful, we needed help finding a pitch so they took us on their golf cart

A Garden of Eden and in this time of the year a real blossom paradise. Unique spot and a one of the most beautiful campsites in Italy.

Lovely quiet location in a valley

Wir sind durch Zufall auf diesem wunderschönen Campingplatz gelandet, weil die Campingplätze am Lago völlig überfüllt waren.
Das Personal hat uns super freundlich empfangen und war sehr unkompliziert als wir einmal Platz wechseln wollten. Der Campingplatz selbst ist richtig gemütlich, schön grün und man hat viel Privatsphäre, durch den verwinkelten Aufbau. Der kleine Supermarkt ist nett geführt und hat alles was man braucht. Die sanitären Anlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen aber waren immer sauber.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf diesem ruhigen Campingplatz sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an das nette Team!

Es ist ein sehr schöner Campingplatz, mit allem was man braucht, ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein Restaurant, Kinderspielplatz, etc... Ferienwohnungen sind vollkommen in Ordnung, sind auch gut bestückt.
Es gibt Wanderwege in der Nähe und man kommt zu Fuß sowie mit Auto sehr schnell ins Zentrum von Cannobio.
Am besten gefiel uns, das man an einem schönen Fluss baden kann der am Campingplatz liegt.
Im groß und ganzen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen💗.

Prima camping. De afmetingen van de plekken verschilt nogal. Wij hadden “geluk”. Sanitair kan beter, maar het blijft kamperen. Ook de afval verwerking bleef soms achter op de werkelijkheid. Strakke leiding. Cash betalen bijvoorbeeld. Het restaurant was prima. Net buiten de camping zit nog een wat luxere variant met quasi arrogantie. Zoals het hoort ;-) lekkere rivier om hele dag rond te hangen en te zwemmen. Zeer goede kamp winkel met lieve mensen die top spul verkopen( hammen, kaas, wijn etc) brood was ok en vers dagelijks aangevoerd. Kom hier graag nog eens terug.

Rustige camping aan de rivier gelegen. Rivier op enkele minuutjes lopen, ligt aan je staplaats. Hygiëne van toiletten en douches kan beter, maar de faciliteiten zijn over het algemeen prima. Camping geeft een veilig gevoel.
Cannobio inlopen is mogelijk naar het is wel een eindje, zelf elke keer met de auto gegaan.

Ein wunderschöner Campingplatz in der Natur. Die Stadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar in ca 25 Minuten. Eine gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber, jedoch die Duschen sehr eng. Es gibt ein Restaurant und ein kleiner Laden in dem es fast alles gibt. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Urlaub hier.

Wunderschöner Zeltplatz am Fluss, etwa 2 km bis zum Lago Maggiore. Allein am Fluss hätten wir viele Tage verbringen können...in der Gegend kann man toll wandern,verlassene Bergdörfer besuchen, natürlich den Lago Maggiore erkunden... Für Familien mit Kindern ein toller Ort,an den wir gerne wieder kommen. Es gibt auch einen Kiosk mit Brötchen und alles für den täglichen Bedarf, ein Swimmingpool und ein (oder mehrere?) Restaurants auf der Anlage,die durch tolle Bepflanzung,alte Bäume usw.herausragt. top Sanitäranlagen... Lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Fantastisch mooie camping, leuke plekjes met veel schaduw en prachtige fauna. Het riviertje langs de camping geeft de nodige verkoeling, leuk voor jong en oud. De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en als er iets is wordt het snel opgelost.
