Trattoria da Maria Moretti

Located in beautiful Tuscan countryside this trattoria is a little gem. You dont even have to order. They start with appetizers (They incluse tuscan prosciutto, crostini toscani and more), followed by three primi piatti (tagliolini al tartufo may be the best) and then secondi (among them cinghiale in umido which was my fav). Finish with dolci della casa and maybe a glass of limoncello. The owners are really welcoming and treat you to a Tuscan feast. Reccomended to make a reservation.

This may be Italy hidden treasure! The food is more than you can possibly eat and delicious. All nine courses YES NINE COURSES ARE AMAZING. Start with a bottle of local wine and large bottle of water then the food keeps rolling out course after course is fresh just mad food based on the day’s menu you don’t decide ( not true I saw someone order individually guess they did need nine courses of perfect food ) the service is abrupt but polite and fast every dish was perfect home made linguini with black truffle sauce, chunks of wild boar, baby lamb shank, WHAT!!! The Tuscania Ravioli was a meal in itself. Then coffee Limoncello or Grapa and desert. All this for I can’t print the pice it’s too low they need to raise there prices. I tipped (yea I know they don’t tip, well I’m an American and I gladly would have paid three times the price of the meal) the price of the meal it was so reasonable.

Had the most special dinner here tonight. No choice, just sit and enjoy all the great Tuscan food served to you. 1 price per person regardless, good wine and great food. hospitality is key. The most delicious truffle pasta eaten from all our Italian dinners. This is another restaurant that you must visit once in your life, or actually experience. unforgettable evening, guaranteed to return home with a full stomach and good mood. Thank you!

Forget fancy restaurants and head down here. In the medieval hamlet of Pereta there is this old-style local tavern where you can get plenty of hearty dishes in an atmosphere where time seems to have stopped. Don't expect anything sophisticated, they serve food cooked as your grandmother would, and that is what makes it special. For 25 euros you get appetizers, three first courses and two mains, plus dessert, coffee, and liquors; wine and water are included. A real Tuscany experience.

An incredible experience in truly authentic Tuscan dining. The menu is fixed, they just bring you plates upon plates of delicious food. The house wine is already on the table. The pastas are to die for. The meats are too good, we kept eating until we almost exploded. Then the last surprise, the price is incredibly low. A true gem of a restaurant

Lovely restaurant in a wonderful location. There’s no menu to choose from, you get the full culinary experience: 3 starters, 3 first plates, 2 second plates, 2 desserts + water, wine, liquor and coffee. Great food, no limits. Total price: 25 €. The chef was so kind to provide vegetarian options for me. The reservation is mandatory.

Nice small town. Fantastic food, just like mamma makes. Prix fix and you get tons of food. At the end of your meal, 3 bottles of local made spirits at your table (limoncello, grappa & vino Santo i.e. sherry) to wash down the biscotti and lemon custard centre pieces of cake.

This is a restaurant you shouldn't miss. You won't be given a menu. Rather you will begin receiving you set menu. The food is excellent and needs another adjective to give it it's proper definition. For 25 euro this is a steal. You get antipasti, three prima plates, a sorbet to ready your pallet for the two secondi. For the secondi it was two perfectly prepared meats. Then came desert and homemade spirits. Beyond words. On top of that the location is picturesque. We'll definitely be going back.

The best discover you can desire! Really traditional, super cozy and high quality food at a unbelievable price. This actually is the italian touch!
