Villa La Cappella

It was an absolute joy spending time at this Beautiful Tuscan Villa, La Villa Cappella. From the moment we arrived we were graciously welcomed. The villa owner, Paola, was so warm and accommodating. Her recommendations of the area were extremely helpful, setting up tours which only added to our experience. Her and her Villa truly exceeded our expectations.

You arrive as a guest but you leave as friends, we will definitely be back!

Villa La Cappella was our first stop in Tuscany and we hope all our stops are as welcoming and accommodating. We tried to get there on the bus (rent a car in Tuscany) and arrived late- starving. Paola offered to make us a charcuterie board even though the kitchen was closed. It was wonderful to sit in our spacious room drinking Prosecco from their wine selection and eating homemade truffle honey with other delicious treats. Because we had no car, the owners, Paola and Anthony, offered to reserve a winery tour for us and drove us to and from the tour. I’m not sure where else you’d find hospitality like this. The Villa is beautiful and the breakfasts are lovely. We were there in the off season so didn’t swim but took advantage of the local hikes. If you want to be surrounded by views evoking a Tuscan landscape painting, and be treated to a lovely Villa experience, come here!!

Absolutely fabulous! Our stay at Villa La Cappella was hands down the highlight of our 3-week Italy vacation. I felt so cared for in the most spectacularly beautiful setting. Villa staff were top notch professional and at the same time made me feel like part of their family. Food...wow. The views are breathtaking from every vantage point on the property. Woke one morning to see 7 hot air balloons in the distance...right out of a picture book! Top shelf all around. Counting the days until we can come back!

If you are visiting Tuscany this is the place to stay, the views absolutely beautiful, the hotel is amazing very old style vintage with a big heated pool that is kept spotless. Paola, Anthony and their daughters are fantastic they made us feel right at home straight away. They are so friendly always smiling and very helpful when looking for local restaurants and wine tasting, nothing was ever too much trouble. We can’t wait to come here again next year! xx

Beautyful stay! Marvellous and authentic historic premises with excellent renovation and every contemporary convenience one could think of. The wonderful Toscanese landscapes that frame your hours by pool or short walks under backyard's ancient cypress trees not to mention the breakfast table talks. But that's just the top layer.

The warmhearted people that fill the place with considerate service and loving atmosphere are the real gem, that make you want to prolong your stay to enjoy that feeling of welcomedness and being cared for even more. And the kitchen! Someting to make each of our taste buds flicker from joy! I am better not going to try to describe the barbeque evening and wines. Only one small thing: after tasting many of the Italy's real tiramisus, their masterpiece just left us speachless... Haven't had anything like this until.

Long story short. We really loved our stay there and the simultaneous feeling of being in an expensive resort while visiting home of dear friends.

Villa La Capella is a fantastic place in the heart of Tuscany.
We booked the superior apartment with terrace for our holiday. It is a wonderful place in the countryside on a hill with beautiful view over the valley. The pictures on the web really don't lie.
The host family and employees are very friendly and nice, and can help with all your questions and requests. English is spoken fluently. The apartment is large with a kitchen, bathroom and living room/bedroom. The balcony/terrace is beautiful with a sunbed, table and chairs, parasol and a wonderful view of the valley.

The swimming pool is large and wonderful for a cool dip. It is very clean and cleaned every day.
The location is perfect as a starting point for trips around beautiful Tuscany. And if the holiday is to be enjoyed with total relaxation, stay at Villa La Capella all day and enjoy the pool, nature and silence.
We can only recommend booking the superior apartment with the terrace at Villa La Capella. You will not regret it !

Villa La Cappella is 5* on every aspect! The team made me feel at home from the minute I walked through the gate. The grounds and views are breathtaking and lend itself to a very relaxing time.

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids between 11 and 15 and we stayed there for 5 nights during our 3week Italian trip and this was one of our best stays ever!!! Kids loved the pool, close to grocery shopping, wineries and pizzerias, rooms were big and homey. The family who runs it was absolutely fantastic! They always had time to help us with travelling questions or just have a chat😉 their young daughters who are running it with them are very professional and friendly. It felt like we were visiting friends of ours in Italy...we will definitely recommend villa la cappella..and if we are ever back in tuscany we will stay there again for sure.

We had a splendid week staying at Villa La Capella.

Location - Settled just outside Montespertoli, you’re near many wonderful towns, villages, vineyards and more. Definitely recommend a car to get to all of the locations, and day trips to Siena, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence, and more! The location is perfect as “home base”.

Villa - Incredible. The villa is very well maintained. The pool area and pool itself are all very well maintained. The lounge chairs are incredibly comfortable and the umbrellas help in the hot sun. If it weren’t for all the amazing cities and towns nearby, I could see us staying by the pool alone for days. The common areas are comfy, and good for later in the evenings to sit back and relax. The property itself is large, and there’s lots to explore.

Rooms - Large, apartment style room with more than enough space. The shower was great, and everything was kept very clean. We had a wonderful private terrace with a beautiful view. They made sure we had fans to keep the room cool, and mentioned that AC was going to be installed in a few weeks.

Service - The family that runs the villa are wonderful. Friendly, kind and always there to help when needed. Mixing drinks, whipping up a delicious breakfast, making sure you have water before you head out for trips, and more. They go above and beyond, and their passion shines through.

We will be back again, and after our stay here I know it’ll be even sooner.

The setting of Villa Cappella is great - consisting of a huge garden/chilling area and a very nice, heated pool.

Our apartment was nice, very spacious, with a fully furnished kitchen. The interior is held very traditional.

The lovely staff makes you feel at home.

They provide breakfast, simple but very tasty lunch and from to time dinner.

If you're looking for a stay in a true Tuscany home with wonderful staff, I highly recommend this place! Our room was large, clean, cute, homey, and had amazing views! The food is wonderful! I recommend having dinner here! The best part of this stay was the family that ran it! They gave perfect suggestions for things to do during our stay. Not only did they suggest what to do, they set everything up with outside vendors! We biked through Tuscany and they gave us a list of places that we should stop at. I wish we had scheduled more time to stay here. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

This is really the best hotel I have ever stayed! Super nice people that welcome you, beautiful rooms, wonderful garden and pool, and even my dog was super welcome!
The breakfast is different every day and offers you everyrhing you can think off: bread, salami, cheese, prosciutto, fruit, vegetables, eggs, yoghurt, and even typical Italian things like tramezzini! You can sit outside or inside, as you wish.
Sometimes you can stay for a home cooked dinner on the beautiful terrace. These are typical Italian dishes, home made by the boss Patrizio. You really feel right at home! When you have the chanse to do this, please do it!
The whole crew is dedicated to make you feel at home, so whatever you want, just ask them! The owner knows the area so well, so all his tips to go or to do are definately a good idea to follow!
If you are looking for a typical Italian place, a home away from home, then this is the place to be!

We experienced outstanding hospitality from Patrizio, Dianna and the other staff. They were always friendly and ready to assist. The walking tours were great and really enjoyable as you could walk at your own pace.

Better late than never to review our wonderful stay at Villa La Cappella in September 2022.
First of all, what is not to like about staying in a 12th century villa overlooking the rolling hills and castles of Tuscany? The owners are an Italian couple from Canada who had always dreamed of owning a villa in Tuscany and proof that dreams do come true. One of their daughters has also moved to Tuscany to help and so it is truly a family-run villa.
Paola, the wife is a wonderful chef and the food at the daily buffet breakfasts was plentiful & fresh and I loved my morning cappuccino! Not to mention she treated us to some dinners that were so simple yet so delicious. Anthony, her husband, is so helpful and although they are fairly new to running a B&B, they go out of their way to help every guest (Anthony literally drove a couple of women into Florence when their ride didn’t show up). He also has wonderful ideas for places to visit in the region and is super helpful making reservations. Both Paola and Anthony engage with every guest that arrives and it really makes everyone feel welcome.

The Villa is centrally located to some iconic towns and villages and close to some amazing large and small wineries depending on what you are looking for. We stopped in many little Italian villages along the way and you can’t help but marvel at their way of life. We used a private car tour service for 2 daily wine tours to let someone else do the driving. I would recommend a car otherwise.

Our room was huge and lovely and had the biggest patio with wonderful views. The whole property is magical and both the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Nothing quite as lovely as just sitting in the garden with a glass of wine late in the afternoon just relaxing and taking in the scenery. We travelled in September and it was the perfect weather for swimming in the very big Villa pool and catching some rays on the loungers overlooking the Tuscan valley below.

We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning, but really, it’s Paola and Anthony that make Ville La Cappella truly special.

Siamo stati in questa magnifica villa con un gruppo di amici. Proprietaria e personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Colazione abbondante e buona. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante della villa, piatti decisamente buoni e la cuoca molto gentile. Piscina bella e nuova! Camere estremamente pulite e da tipica villa antica. Consiglio vivamente per chi vuole passare dei giorni nel chianti!

Ha sido una gran elección poder disfrutar d 4 dias allí.El lugar inmejorable por su ubicación,vistas y por como es l Vlilla y sus jardines. Las habitaciones espaciosas limpias y acordes con el estilo renovado de las villas antiguas. Destacar l gran amabidad d Paula y de su hija ayudando y haciendonos sentir cómodos y bien atendidos.También quiero mencionar l cocina q tienen, gracias a Giovanna q prepara l comida con mucho amor ,cuidando detalles para que comas bien y l q te apetece.
Si estais en el corazon d Toscana teneis q ir a Villa la Cappella.

I proprietari ci hanno accolto con grande gentilezza, sono stati molto presenti e disponibili a
darci tutto il supporto del quale abbiamo avuto bisogno per itinerari e consigli su luoghi da visitare. Ottimo il servizio di colazione e la splendida piscina, molto apprezzata da nostro figlio.
Camera confortevole e curata, ambiente pulito ed accogliente.
