Hotel Somaschi

A pleasant place with nice employees welcoming you in different languages (It, Fr, En at least)
rooms are nice and comfy.
Parking is free and just next to the hotel.
You won't necessary have to grab your car to go for a restaurant a bar or small shopping, all can be reached by foot.

The breakfast takes place in the basement vaulted with bricks which is pretty nice. even if in the summer I'd love to take in the garden instead.

The hotel is an old monastery, situated at the edge of the old town of Cherasco, a sleepy little town in the Barolo wine region. The building and its surroundings are stunningly beautiful.

The hotel has a pleasant pool area with a good number of sunbeds and a cabaña. The pool area is an extension of the pleasant bistro's terrace, so there's no need to get up from one's sunbed to order appetizers or a cocktail to be enjoyed in the sun.

The food in both the fine dining restaurant upstairs as well as in the bistro is very good and a good value for money. The service is friendly and professional across the property.

I would recommend this as a base for e.g. visiting Barolo and its wineries, or just taking a couple of days to relax and enjoy the sun, the pool, the good food and the beautiful surroundings.

Lovely renovated rooms in a charming city. Helpful and friendly staff arranged so the excursions that we wanted.

The hotel is simple but comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The town has old world charm. Make for an idyllic stay. Go visit

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso l'Hotel Somaschi per un breve weekend e devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. La struttura, ricavata da un antico monastero del XVII secolo, è davvero suggestiva e curata nei minimi dettagli. La posizione collinare offre una vista panoramica mozzafiato sulla città e sui dintorni
La colazione è davvero ricca e abbondante, con un buffet che propone sia dolce che salato. Ho trovato prodotti freschi e di ottima qualità, tra cui torte fatte in casa, yogurt, frutta fresca, salumi e formaggi tipici.
Il personale è stato davvero gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni mia richiesta.
Ho usufruito anche della piscina scoperta, situata in un bellissimo giardino, dove ho potuto rilassarmi e godermi il sole.
Nel complesso, il mio soggiorno all'Hotel Somaschi è stato davvero piacevole e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che cercano un posto tranquillo e confortevole dove trascorrere qualche giorno di relax.

Fantastyczna obsługa. W czasie kiedy byliśmy niestety spa było zamknięte ale dostaliśmy szampana w ramach przeprosin. Obsługa fantastyczna. Przemiło. Polecamy serdecznie

Был одну ночь, но в целом все абсолютно устроило. Чисто и аккуратно, завтрак вполне нормальный.

Abbiamo fatto un breve soggiorno con colazione ma siamo rimasti molto sorpresi e soddisfatti da questa bellissima location.
Avevamo una camera Deluxe che nella sua semplicità e risultata molto confortevole, calda e spaziosa. Unica pecca il non funzionamento della TV satellitare.
Letto comodo cuscini adatti ad ogni esigenza, camera calda e frigo fornito. Il personale della reception molto attento e di veloce risposta a tutte le richieste da noi esercitate. Sale relax molto carine. Basterebbe già così per la location fornisce una quadro di contorno più che soddisfacente. Abbiamo anche fatto una cena con menù degustazione al ristorante presente in location denominato " il teatro". Cucina molto buona di alto livello, personale di sala gentilissimo e molto attento a tutte le carinerie di cortesia. Luogo intimo e soffuso di grande effetto.
Degna di menzione positiva anche la colazione, super fornita di dolce e nota ancora più positiva per i prodotti salati anche di fattura locale. Anche in questo caso giudizio super positivo per il personale di sala attento e veloce nel servizio di bevande calde e richieste quali uova strapazzate e altro. Esperienza super piacevole.

Ottima la location e il ristorante.
