Ristorante Al Tartufo

We had lunch in this restaurant. The food is excellent, service is professional. Not only the dishes, but also their olive oil and wine were spectacular. And special note for the dessert with tartufo: MOLTO BUONO. Recommend!

One and a half years later and the carbonara is still the best. The summer truffles were amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Relaxing location just off the main square. Our waiter was superb from start to finish. We ate far too much because the menu was irresistible and each course was perfectly prepared. Add in local wine and it made for the perfect evening! The truffle is liberally applied and the flavours are outstanding. Get a table outside and enjoy the experience!

Sooo good! Bruschetta and tagliatelle was soooo good. Semi freddo for dessert too!

If you are in Perugia and want to try delicious food with truffle, this is the best place to go. I recommend to book a table. We went there twice, each time food was tasty and the service was really good as well.

Stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant on our first day of our holiday in Perugia and had to return for a second visit before returning home. Fantastic food, specialising in Black Truffle dishes. Quite exceptional. The staff are friendly and welcoming and love to share their knowledge of truffles. A great place.

If you don't like truffle, this place may not be for you. Kidding aside, this is a great restaurant. We were a group of eight and service was amazing and quick. The staff was very friendly and the location is great. Food wise it was really good. We tried a few dishes. The cacio e pepe was my personal favourite but the carbonara was also really good. The desserts were good, nothing too special. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant is situated in the central square of Perugia . We were very satisfied with the quality of the food we ate. The truffle that was added on some plates gave taste . Everything we ate was so delicious. Really recommend this .

We booked a table inside the restaurant. Is small but very charming interior. The food is delicious. Well presented, balanced with interesting flavors .The service is very cordial. The wine pairings are on point. We are very happy with this experience. Is a must visit

Excellent food. A truly unique experience with a wonderful wait staff and a courageous kitchen staff who have developed wonderful ways of exhibiting the various qualities of the tartufo. Enjoy a wonderful meal with some top Umbrian wines.

Best truffle based dishes ever seen.
Great location, services, and reasonable price

Ended at this restaurant by chance and were lucky to secure a table on a cold Thursday evening. Delicious truffle dishes but also a selection of fine Umbrian dishes. Tagliatelle with black truffle was absolutely amazing and my 3 year old would not have enough of her carbonara. My partner ventured in a black truffle burger and was rewarded for this excellent choice. We finished off our dining experience with fine home made desserts, chocolate cake glacee with chocolate ganache and white cream, absolutely delish! Servers were courteous and kind, making our dining experience most welcome.

We ate lunch here on our last meal of our trip to Perugia, and it was mind blowingly delicious. Some of the best gnocci I’ve had in my life. Our bar was pretty high for food by the end of the trip, and this still managed to top it. A+++++, our compliments to the chef!!!!

One word: Spectacular. Worth coming to Italy just for a night at this restaurant. Excellent service from Leonardo and extraordinary food.

Specialties here are the truffle, ww visited in summer & were treated to truffle of the season, summer black truffle which was grated/sliced over the meal at the table, very enjoyable
