Sentierelsa Trail

Is still possible after rain. We liked it a lot. You will need shoes and they might get a little wet. But it is a really nice track. Not so much up hill. So even with kids or old people its fine

The most stunning walk and water. Perfect for hot weather, this river is the best to enjoy a great nature day in the area!

Amazing walk along the river, beautiful color and landscape, nice places to swim into the river too. Careful of the wet and slippery stone bridges, not for everyone.

Very beautiful, well worth the visit. Take a towel and swimming outfit!

A lovely trekking site that is kind of a hidden gem! Easy to reach from Florence using the suburban 131 bus line. The water looks very blue and it resembles Plitvice Lakes in Croatia a bit. The walk is very easy, free of charge, takes about an hour one way, and there are not too many people so you can truly chill out here and escape the crowds.

A unique place to visit when you are travelling Through Tuscany!

Really loved this short (3.6km) trail. We walked it from start to end. There are good parking places on both ends (either near the waterfall, or at the cemetery on the other end of the trail). Lots of brilliant small waterfalls. The river is incredibly blue and a lovely place to go for a swim in the warm Tuscan summer.

Beautiful hike! I could not resist jumping into the water. It’s so fresh and refreshing on a warm day. I don’t know why people say it’s dirty. The cloudiness is natural from the minerals. I highly recommend this trail if you enjoy hiking and nature.

An absolutely beautiful trail. Very calming and easy to trek through. The waterfall is worth the time spent getting there.

Beautiful hike! Back and forth takes about 2 hours. Don’t forget your swimming wear. Entry is next to the bridge where cars cross. Parking at the cemetery.

A lovely walk along and trhough a part of the Elsa river in the Siena provence.

Vegetable gardens, farm and wild animals, cobalt blue waters and green lush vegetation with precious relaxing moments on the shores of this fairy tale enchanted woods.

I swear you'd expect a gnome popping out the bushes at any moment.

Well mantained and tracked stroll in the tuscany woods.

Absolutely stunning. A 5km hike, out and back, with occasionally steep terrain, but everything is clear, well marked and probably busy (depending on when you go). The swimming is memorable. Beautifully coloured water. One of our trip highlights.

Beautiful hike. Only disappointment, you don’t see the waterfall from ground level! Only from above. Unless you will swim for it.

Very nice trail. Takes you about two hours to go both ways. Accessible for youngsters and elderly as well.

Very nice clean water with lovely colours. The micro-waterfalls are very pretty and peacful.

I'm a hiker and I've seen very pretty places but this was by far the most beautiful hiking trail I've ever been too!!!
