Cascate del Varone

Wow!!!! This site was amazing!!!We came in the late afternoon (around 3 p.m) so we didn't have any problem finding parking.
The place is beautiful even without the waterfall, all the botanical area was so nice.
The waterfall itself is so unique and impressive, we loved it.
The site is not that big but we really enjoyed it and after that it is highly recommended to go to lake Tenno, which is not that far away from there and is also a wonderful place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

Beautiful gardens with Mediterranean planting. Very well maintained. The Zen garden was immaculate!
The cascade was impressive. A torrent of water and so powerful! You need a raincoat to experience it fully. Love the two picnic areas. Some refreshments ( not a great choice) but good toilet facilities. Altogether, worth seeing.

Enchanting waterfalls. The park also has a Nice ambient with lots od flowers, a zen garden and even some magical music that plays around the place.

The Cascate del Varone falls are three kilometers after Riva Del Garda. There are waterfalls inside a beautiful nature reserve. A reserve that includes long bridges that cut through cliffs and created very deep gorges. The walk on the winding bridges in the deep gorges near the streams that burst from the mountain.

Very nice and high waterfall inside the cave with colorful illumination. Don't forget raincoats or you can buy them at the entrance. Also nice flowers around. Good places to get fresh in summer period

This is well worth a visit if you're visiting Lake Garda. The waterfall is impressive on its own, but the beautifully groomed gardens are also gorgeous.
There are viewing areas at the top & bottom.
Parking can be challenging. There are two car parks, but when we could get into either we were allowed to park in the carpark of a nearby restaurant.
Its worth taking a raincoat or poncho, as there is a lot of spray from the waterfall.

Beautiful and impressive. The nature around it is beautiful too. We bought the capes from the shop but we found the water nice and refreshing with the heat. But we were definitely happy we brought an extra shirt ;)
We advise to park 10 mins further than the general parking: it’s a small hike but the parking near the caves is always full and busy!

The waterfall is amazing.
I enjoyed every minute.
The place is accessible for the first part the other areas are full of stairs but managed to go up also with a pushchair since the stairs are very wide.

Highly recommended as a in-between stop when sightseeing in the area. Parking is limited, so a weekday (in the morning) is recommended. The garden is beautiful and the waterfall, especially from above, is quite unique. Refreshing on a hot day!

Amazing park! Stunning what nature can do! There wan no queue! 7 euro entrance.

A great place to visit when the weather is too hot to handle. Easy walk to the top of the waterfall deck. Not ideal for strollers or wheelchair. Good shoes are recommended as the steel bridge tends to be slippery.

Really interesting place, experience the power of water. Loads of beautiful flowers from around the world. €7 per adult to enter. Take a coat you will get very wet.

Dramatic waterfalls and lovely gardens but be prepared to get wet especially at the upper cascade.

Must buy a poncho (2.5eur) otherwise you will be totally wet...

Impressive waterfalls, lovely little setup with beautiful flower garden. There’s a toilet right before the entrance, and possible to buy a simple rain poncho at cashier in case you don’t have one (it’s very wet in the cave of main waterfall!). Not a big route to walk though, so some might say it’s a bit pricey.

Lovely place, great nature, cascades, water falls and amazing flowers. Take a umbrella, or you can buy a raincoat fod 2.50€ :) you can be quite wet, in hot weather could be no problem :) you can bring your own food and drinks, some places where you can have chill :)

Such a beautiful place. Fantastic garden's and the access to the falls are great, hang on to your camera though. Take your time walking round. Well worth the €7 entrance fee.

Going to lake Garda, the top north spot of the Cascade of Varone is a must stop. For a family of 4, the price is about 24 euros (free parking included!) It is not cheap but the experience is well worth it. You need to bring a rain coat or you will get very very wet! The path to the cascade is beautiful too with lots of flowers and plants. There is clearly a lot of work to keep this place as pristine as it is. A must see clearly.

Nice waterfall, we were lucky, as it was just after rainy day, so there was hyghe amount of water. The way to the waterfall is small botanic garden with a lot for flowers with their names. Place to be 100% recommended.

From my point of view the place is small, but very nice. Monumental waterfall inside rocks and small botanical garden are nice for short visit.
