Ristorante Pizzeria Leon D'oro Riva

Excellent food, pasta with tartufo is the best Ive ever eaten - aromatic, tasteful and with lot of tartuffi. Bruschettas for antipasti are also a great choice. Service is super efficient.
The only complaint is about the outside sitting - tables are joined and on the uphill street, with super uncomfortable chairs.

Very good service and DELIGHTFUL food. Absolutelly brilliant, great attention to detail, superb presentation, every meal we tried was 10/10. Not the cheapest, but worth every cent you pay.

our waiter Christian was very courteous and the food was delicious. the menu was reasonably priced and although the restaurant was well attended, we didn't have to wait long for a table. we will definitely come again on our next visit to Riva!

Wow, I haven’t had such good fried octopus in a long time. The fritto misto here was so good, the portion was really generous and it’s good for sharing (2 hungry people, 3 moderately hungry people). Vongole spaghetti was so generous with the clams, there were 19 in total. Everything was delicious!! Lastly, the service here was impeccable, thank you Rosa for your lovely friendly service. Definitely a great place for a meal in Garda 🤌🏻

Yesterday we had a delicious dinner. It was raining a lot that evening and we quickly got a table, a very nice old lady invited us inside. We were served by a very professional Mr. Dorin. He answered all questions about the dishes served and advised what to order, he created a real Italian atmosphere. He was very polite, we had a very nice conversation at the table. He advised us to order Sea Bass- off the menu, the fish was fresh and delicate, along with roasted vegetables. everything was very tasty. For an appetizer we also took focaccia, which was also delicious, and Il Duetto...gli affumicati - smoked salmon and smoked char - also a very good choice, fish full of flavor.

We had a family lunch there. All the food was delicious from pasta to carpaccio to Frito misto to hamburger.

Wonderful food, people and atmosphere! We pretty much ate here every night of our stay in Riva del Garda as we loved it so much.

My friend and I just returned from a week long stay in Riva del Garda. I had eaten in Leon D'oro on a previous trip and was keen to return. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic and if we could have brought 'Mama' (the beautiful lady who owns the restaurant, Senora Sandra) home with us, we would have!

The decor is traditional Italian. The food is outstanding, you can tell it is cooked with love and great ingredients. I don't think anything less than perfect would get past Mama's watchful eye! We were treated like part of the family and we recommended a meal here to pretty much everyone in our tour group - all commented how great a meal and experience they had. On one of the evenings we ate there we counted 15 other people from our tour!

The atmosphere was terrific, lots of chatter and happy people enjoying great food. We never felt that we were rushed and the staff were willing and able to answer every question we had.

All of the staff were friendly and welcoming but we want to pay special tribute and say a huge thank you to Senora Sandra, Michelle, Miky, Adrian, Tania and Luca for making our holiday so special. We can't wait to return x

Wandered into this place for lunch today and had the honor of being taken care of by Dorin. We went with his recommendations and were absolutely floored. Maybe one of the best pasta dishes of my life and absolutely the best Risotto I’ve ever had. Seafood was excellent as well. This is the type of place every small town should have. Would it here daily if we lived in Riva. This is a must visit

We had an absolutely delicious dinner here tonight. We were served by Lorenzo, who made our meal so comfortable. I had the Lasagne, and after having it last here in 2017 I wasn’t sure if it would live up to my memory of it being the best lasagne I’ve ever tasted. But it absolutely does. I forgot to take a photo of the dish before I gobbled it down. But I made sure to take an after one to show just how much I enjoyed it. My partner had a carbonara, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
For dessert I had tiramisu, which was so light and fluffy. The flavour was perfect, exactly how I would like to end a meal. My partner had a lemon and Prosecco sorbet, which I am told was gorgeous.
I cannot praise Leon D’Oro enough, it is such a wonderful spot with such a wide variety of fantastic food.

The best restaurant we tried in riva del Garda! The food was amazing and the staff was very service minded, Miki you were amazing! We tried the truffle risotto, the truffle pasta and the sage ravioli and everything was soo good! They even had nice gluten-free pasta a gluten-free bread!

This place is amazing! Risotto with shrimps and lemon is probably the best one I ever tried. Great service, prices are good. Muscat wine is great.
Apple pie was like a grandma's ❤

Stumbled on this restaurant by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was lovely and accommodated us without reservations.
Waiter was helpful and gave a few recommendations. Food was delicious...if you're in the area, stop by...you won't be disappointed.

We had the most delicious meal here! We had lasagne, carbonara, spaghetti bolognaise and pumpkin soup! It was all so yum. We were looking for a dinner spot that was open as most restaurants do not open until 6:30/7pm but this one was open. An older lady seated us (after a younger man tried to put us in another area), but she said “no, no” and led us up the other area with more atmosphere. She was beautiful and called me “Mama” and gave me a cushion for my chair (this is unusual in Australia to receive such care as a 48yr old woman). The waiter was lovely as well. All around a great meal and “ristorante”. I have no photos of our food as we were so hungry after a swim and ate it so quick!!

What can I say. It’s the must visit place during the trip to Garda Lake ! Amazing food, especially risotto with truffles and pasta for sure. Tiramisu is crazy. Thank you for 5 star service and your pet friendly policy. So much appreciate it. Definitely will back again, many many times.

If you want to have a really great night out, go to Leon d'Oro for dinner and then to the harbour and listen to the Italian version of Harry Dean Stanton.
The Golden Lion is the oldest place here, I was there for the first time ever, I didn't have a reservation. The old lady, Nonna Sandra greeted me warmly and with a handshake and gave us a really nice table at the open Window - exceptional.
The waiters were all extremely professional, paying attention to small details such as the orientation of the serving. The food was excellent, my recommendation would be to order one of the dishes marked as traditional. This was the best experience in three weeks dining around lake garda. Nice atmosphere, warm wellcome, good food.

Perfect dinner, the food was really good, some Beef carpacio and some truffle tagliatelle and risotto with truffle and mushrooms. The service was impecable ( Mr. Cristian). Trully recommend.

For over 20 years I eat here and have never been disappointed. The owner, a charming lady ( who has aged gracefully) still rules undisputed and makes sure that the quality of food, wine and service stays above par.

My personal favorites are bruscetta and risotto with porcini and truffles.

Amazing restaurant, I think it’s now my favourite in Riva del Garda. :) the staff is super friendly, talkative and funny. The place itself gives you this true Italian
Vibe with tables being located close together, people talking and laughing loud. It’s pretty cool. :) food is DIVINE! you should definitely try their mushroom risotto and panna cotta. They’re to die for. 🥰 fish are also delicious. Highly recommend it!

Best seafood pasta in Riva Del Garda the portion is good. Pasta perfect quality service. Thank you Auntie and Uncle probabaly the owners for opening the door for my family while looking at the menu outside you provided us with a warm welcoming and courteous smile.
