Super friendly, great local place to stop, rest, and enjoy Italian hospitality.

Travelling 4,000 miles to visit my grandparents hometown for the first time, while visiting this absolutely gorgeous town, then to come here to this wonderful place, that has been more than welcoming, kind and to make me feel like I am home, is more than words would be sufficient to even try to begin to describe.

I am beyond grateful to the owner, staff and the locals that have been so amazing to me for over a week I have been here almost every day.
Thank you Gigi and everyone here, from my whole heart for being the amazing people they are!! Especially to me on such an important and sentimental journey to connect with my family history. They have their part in making it even more special than it already is here on this beautiful town of Pacentro.
I will never forget this

Such a welcoming and wonderful experience! We have never been to Pacentro and this place was wonderful and made us feel at home and at ease. My kids loved just running around the piazza and playing in the fountain while we enjoyed some drinks and apertivo.

Not so many places to eat in Piacentro during summertime without a reservation. After a few unsuccessful attempts, we finally came on the "Piazza del Popolo" and sat down on Gigi's terrace : this was actually a really good choice.
Some plates ("aperitivo") and few pizzas all done with good products, and cherry on the cake, the owner presented himself the plates (when you come as a tourist you usually do not expect so much care).
So thank you again for the good time we had, the good food and the very kind service.

Fantastic place. The host (owner) Gigi is very friendly and serves best aperitivo in Pacentro. Go there in the evening if you want to feel the soul of Pacentro.

It is just the best place in the morning for a coffee and croissant whilst watching the village wake up, great in the evening for a beer and aperetivo as the day settles and pretty good at lunchtime too. Welcoming and friendly staff - can't recommend too highly.

Very very nice

Die Bar ist im besten und schönsten Sinne eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen. Die Getränke und kleinen Speisen waren hervorragend und preiswert. Das Besondere aber waren die Menschen, die einheimischen Gäste, insbesondere aber die Gastgeber. Die Menschen machen den Unterschied und sie machen den besonderen Reiz dieses Ortes aus.

Una piacevole scoperta... Nonostante di un paese vicino non eravamo mai stati in questo bar.. con l'occasione di una visita a Pacentro per il presepe vivente ci siamo casualmente fermati qui per un aperitivo tra amici... Abbiamo preso campari e prosecco, vino, spritz e stuzzichini vari.. tutto ottimo...il personale è gentile e disponibile.. sicuramente ripasseremo....

Personale gentilissimo. Ci siamo fermati per un piccolo break e ci hanno servito tutte cose buonissime. La cornice incantevole della piazza ha reso alla sosta ancor più valore

Voglio rispondere alla recensione del 10 agosto della sig.na Deborah. Sono profondamente disaccordo con quanto dichiarato dalla sig.na in alto richiamata. Per me è uno dei migliori bar della Valle Peligna. Il gestore " Gigi " è la persona più affidabile ed accomodante che si possa incontrare.
