Sicily Horse Riding

This is the best agriturismo I could have found for horse/pony rides/lessons. The horse trainers were superb, they gave my 5 & 7 year olds lessons and made my children super comfortable with the ponies. They taught them how to brush, saddle, and basic tips even time doing some fun tricks (standing up on the pony), my girls left feeling confident with their first lesson and I plan on going back to do the adult ventures. I highly recommend!! If you’re hesitant, just go for it! There even was a meerkat we could look at!

What a fabulous experience! My partner and I did the 4hr ride up Mt Ilice with breathtaking views and some semi challenging terrain which was fabulous and fun with our sure footed horse friends ( we rode Maya and Victoria). They even organised transport to and from our Acom in Taormina. My partner was a beginner rider ( 5 rides before this) and i experienced and we both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience ! Can 100% recommend as an adventurous way to see some of the Sicilian countryside! Thankyou Alessandro + crew for a memorable experience 🤍

very nice first time horseback experience thanks to Renato. Me and Dora 🐴 became friends quickly and explored together the field full of flowers. I recommend this experience for everyone who is visiting Sicily and loves animals 🩵

We had a horseback tour for the first time and it was really nice and unexpected. Had a lot of fun with my “purple flower loving” horse, Maya, and guided with care through the whole experience by the great and friendly host, Renato.

Our family (parents + 2 teenager girls) had a geat one-hour ride to the nice landscape of Sicily.
The guide was very friendly and gave us a save feeling during the ride. The horses were very nice and calm. I can recommend you this place, if you want experience Sicily on a horse back :-)

We did 1 hour horseback riding during our honeymoon at Monaci delle terre nerre. Our guides were kind, professional, and took photos for us so we could focus on enjoying the ride. It was a lovely way to see the vineyards!

A great way to spend some time in the nature, riding on very calm and well behaved horses, being constantly followed by a beautiful dog. The team is very friendly and professional and prices very reasonable. On top of that, they also have English speaking team members, which is a bonus. I definitely recommend the experience.

Would highly recommend a horseback ride here! Renato was a wonderful guide. He paired us very well with our horses and he was so friendly and personable. We had a beautiful view of Mt. Etna on our path and enjoyed the peace of the surrounding nature. After the ride we shared a coffee together. This experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily and we look forward to returning!

I came to the experience in October 2023. I recommend a 100%. We had a very nice instructor, who was very attentive on us as we were a small group. The horses are well maintained and very gentle. A must for when you are in Sicily !!!

Fantastic ride: chilled but clear experts, with well behaved horses. Also good value for money. We did a one hour hike and it wasn’t rushed- our horses were tacked perfectly and the instructor was helpful.

We had an amazing experience doing the 1 hour horse ride around the forest. We were both beginners, but the horses were super sweet and the people very helpful. The route was incredibly beautiful, with so much greenery and pretty views. Would recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed a riding experience with my two sons. Renato was an excellent guide. It was tragic to observe what the fires had done to the surrounding areas, but it was an eye-opener and a reminder that we only have one earth, and we must take good care of it.

Oh boy oh boy, how nice was the little 1 hour trip we made here. Our guide Renato was a really nice guy and explained us basically everything we asked. The horses were also really kind, I had 0 riding experience and was like a stiff wooden figure for the first 15 minutes but after I relaxed the horse also seemed to follow my directions pretty well. They say you need a long pants and perhaps you do, but the plants didn't really bother me. Afterwards we were treated a coffee and could chill a little! I might go and buy a horse now. As 🐎 riding 🪨s.
