B&B Casa Nini

Great stay, reasonable prices, owner/host Mr.Daniele is friendly (and fun) and happy to advice in dinner places etc.(he also reserved a table in restaurant Sottovento that he recommendes, and it was good).

Guests can park for free in B&B's gated yard, if there is room. The alley and yard looked quite narrow but at least Fiat Panda fitted easily :)

Had a lovely time at Casa Nini! The host, Mr. Daniele, was a very kind and funny man who made us feel very welcome, and helped us with all our questions about the area. He went above and beyond.

The room we got (number 2) was very large, air conditioned, and had an amazing view of the lake. Bathroom was big, had plenty of towels and shampoo/shower gel included.

The location of the B&B is quite literally perfect, with a 20 second walk to the nearest train station, which takes you to Varenna to take the ferry, or to Lecco/Milan. Bear in mind the last trains back are 8-9pm depending on where you are, and are hourly, so keep this in mind if you plan to stay out late as taxis from Varenna are quite expensive (25-30eur). Instead I’d recommend to get back early by train and have dinner at one of the many nice local restaurants like La Breva or Sotovento. Downloading the Trenord app is a must to be informed about any delays or to buy tickets.

Breakfast was always freshly prepared and delicious for us at no additional cost, which was a major plus.

While we did not go spend the evening at the B&B, we did spend the evening enjoying the company of the owner, Danny. What a delightful evening enjoying some great wine and company with someone who has great knowledge of not only the local area but up into Switzerland and down to the south toward Rome. If you're heading this way Danny is the guy if you need a great place to stay, close to the train station, and if you want a fun, funny and knowledgeable local guide.

Beautiful location. Comfortable rooms with nice views. Gracious and friendly host. Hope to visit again!

Very clean and near to the lake. Also the breakfast is self-made and tastes delicious. Very friendly man that can speak very good Engish. Lierna is a lovely place with very friendly people. Also near many cities like Bellagio, Menagio or Villa Carlotta.
I would recommand it to everyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday in Italy.

Germany

Casa Nini is conveniently located just off the train stop (you'll get used to the train - lol). Daniel is an excellent host who takes his time getting to know your tastes & makes appropriate recommendations.
This quaint little town is much less expensive than pricier counterparts Varenna & Bellagio which are reachable by train & boat.
If you want to experience Lake Como on a working person's budget this is the place for you.

Amazing welcoming service. Even though there is a train station we didn't experience any inconvenience caused by this. "Beach" and ATm is in walking distance.

Fantastic hospitality

Io e mio figlio abbiamo soggiornato a Casa Nini in una delle Tappe del sentiero del viandante. A due passi dalla stazione di Lierna la casa è stupenda. Il signor Daniele ci ha fatto un prezzo speciale per la camera matrimoniale che abbiamo trovato perfettamente in ordine e pulita.
Ottima la colazione! Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile ci ha consigliato benissimo per muoverci a Lierna.
Dovessimo tornare a Lierna proveremo di certo a soggiornare nuovamente da lui!

Wir waren mit dem Motorrad für eine Nacht in der Casa Nini, sehr angenehm, sehr freundlicher Vermieter, hat uns abends mit seinem Auto nach Maranello in eine schöne Pizzeria ggüber dem Ferrari-Museum gefahren. Schöne Zimmer, schöne Anlage 😀😎

Ho soggiornato con un amico a Casa Nini mentre percorrevamo il sentiero del Viandante. La struttura, signorile ed accogliente, è situata proprio dietro la stazione, ma questo non disturba affatto la tranquillità visti i pochi treni che passano. La camera è spaziosa, con doccia calda e aria condizionata. Buona colazione per finire e ripartire sazi per il trekking. Il signor Daniele conosce come le sue tasche Lierna e dintorni, e vi offrirà tutti i consigli che volete riguardo a dove mangiare e cosa fare in zona.
Se poi riuscite ad avere anche uno sconto come è capitato a noi beh... Ancora meglio. :D

De ontvangst is zeer hartelijk, je voelt je er oprecht welkom. De gastheer (Daniëlle) deelt heel veel tips, do's & don'ts, ... En kent de buurt als geen ander
Hij staat altijd klaar voor een babbeltje.

De gastheer vindt het belangrijk dat je zelf ook zorg draagt en spreekt je aan als er iets is. Wij konden dit alleen maar appreciëren.

Extra troef: Casa Nini is gelegen net naast het station zonder het lawaai van treinen die er langs rijden.

Er werd echt goed voor ons gezorgd!

Camera pulita e curata. Ottima colazione e padroni di casa simpaticissimi, con Daniele cortese e attento. Unica nota dolente: ci è rimasta la voglia delle castagne raccolte dal padrone di casa ☺!

La villa è signorile, comoda e silenziosa. Il proprietario sig. Daniele è un simpaticissimo signore 😊ci ha preparato una colazione strepitosa e curata nei minimi dettagli.

Varenna çıkışı burada kalmaya karar verdik. Odalar muhteşem. Ev sahibi çok ilgili.
