HOTEL RIVA DEL SOLE CEFALU'

Love love love this place! Directly across the road from a beautiful Cefalù beach lungo mare & only minutes to Cefalù Centro Storico. An older style hotel with beautiful memorabilia & an elevator. Our Seaview room with balcony was spacious & exceptionally clean. Breakfast was plentiful & fresh. Mario & his staff were super friendly & helpful with information & gave us a brilliant day trip itinerary of surrounding towns to visit. Plus free parking (a rarity in Cefalù) & discount vouchers for Poseidon Beach Club directly across the road. Grazie Mario & staff, arrivederci 😌

We just had one night in Cefalu, and this hotel was ideal. It's very central for the old city yet there is a large car park next door (it's a public car park, but the hotel gives you a free ticket) and its right on the sea front. We also had dinner on the terrace, which was excellent. The hotel and restaurant service are old fashioned, rather formal but in a good way. The rooms were fine, good bathrooms but otherwise unexceptional. It met our requirements perfectly.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. some other reviews commented it is not cheap.....but its Cefalu on the seafront....as close to the historic part as can be....happy to pay for that... A small Moet Chandon from the mini bar was nice at just Euro 2.50!!!! A kettle would have been nice. .Recommended

Every two years we have returned to stay at RIVA DEL SOLE, our favorite seafront hotel in Cefalù located by the Tyrrhenian Sea and very close to the charming old historic center. Only this time I would like to share my review and some beautiful photos! Cefalù is a popular tourist resort on Sicily's northern coast, beside the Tyrrhenian sea. With a sandy beach, and an appealing old world town, Cefalù is notable for beautiful sunsets, unpretentious charm, and a very appealing blend of ingredients for an Italian seaside holiday! And you wonder why we keep coming back!
With its stunning turquoise sea views from our room with a balcony on the 3rd floor, it's a perfect place to be! And as always, our favorite hotel butler, Giuseppe, was there to greet us with a smile and with an exceptional service. We were always happy to see him! We enjoyed our bountiful breakfast each morning in a beautiful outdoor garden before we head to the beach for the day. Nothing but love for Hotel Riva Del Sole! We shall see you again this year! Basically we liked everything in the hotel, the only reason to deduct a star is i wish the choise of breakfast buffet was better, we were at Santorini last year, and even though many visitors complained we liked the smaller choise, but better quality of food more there. The personnel is very attentive and nice. Clearn, everything works, and probably the best view in the town, right over the sea. Watching some street entertainer from the balcomy right now.

Perfectly located hotel, with friendly staff, spacious clean rooms and breathtaking views. Right on the beach and the Mini promenade starts right next to the hotel. Very close to the centre and duomo.

Great Location, clean hotel, towels available to swim across the street. Breakfast was filled with many options, friendly staff, a great time for my two nights in Cefalu.

È la mia prima scelta per i pranzi e le cene a Cefalù! Il servizio del ristorante è puntuale e impeccabile, personale gentile e accogliente. Quel che mi ha conquistata però è la qualità dei piatti, che oltre ad essere carinamente serviti sono una delizia per il palato. Potessi darei 10 stelle in particolare agli spaghetti vongole e gamberi: fino ad ora mai mangiati di migliori! Tanto che alla fine è scattata anche la scarpetta! Ho assaggiato anche un ottimo misto di mare, di cui ho apprezzato soprattutto la freschezza e la pulizia dei gamberi (purtroppo non tutti hanno l'accortezza di rimuovere gli intestini). Top!

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé à 50m de la plage GRATUITE, nous y sommes allés mi août et JAMAIS nous avons eu de soucis pour trouver de place n en déplaise aux frustrés. Le look de l hôtel est typique Sicilien, les matelas dont les français feraient bien de s inspirer sont haut de gamme SIMMONS et très grands. Les chambres sont nettoyées parfaitement chaque jour, les serviettes changées et les produits remplacés. Le petit déjeuner est plus que correct à moins de se prendre pour Lady Di. L hôtel dispose d un parking immense juste à côté, il est impossible de ne pas arriver a se garer. Pour finir le personnel est adorable, d une politesse exceptionnelle contrairement à la France, serviable. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir! Ceux qui se plaignent de la clim gérée par l hôtel ne doivent pas savoir se servir d un bouton, car c est bien géré de la chambre. Le personnel, avec qui nous faisions l effort de parler italien nous adressait toujours une petite phrase gentille en français et ont largement contribué à nos superbes vacances

Toller Ort für Ankunft mit Auto. Parkplatz gratis neben der Unterkunft. Schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer auf das Meer. Gut gelegen. Man erreicht alles sehr gut. Fantastische Stadt.

Siamo state per la prima volta a Cefalù, cittadina veramente deliziosa.
Sicuramente torneremo qui e uno dei motivi sarà sicuramente la vostra struttura.
La pulizia perfetta,la cortesia di tutto il personale .
Da sottolineare la professionalità del sign Angelo (direttore di sala),che messo al corrente delle mie allergie ,quotidianamente mi presentava sempre nuove soluzioni per la cena.
Ovviamente ringrazio tutto il personale di sala,del ricevimento e il personale addetto alle camere.per noi avere una camera vista mare è stato fantastico e non per ultimo la qualità e presentazione dei piatti veramente speciali.
(P.s. un saluto particolare al cameriere Francesco che è stato l'unico che non siamo riusciti a salutare e ringraziare)
