Ristorante Trattoria Osenna

Really cute place with a nice atmosphere, good service and super tasty food.
We are vegans and were amazed by
1) how clearly stated the options were (also differentiating between vegetarian and vegan - which is not usual in Italy)
2) that they were open to vary the dishes (had the truffle pasta, which is usually done in butter but has been changed to oil)
3) the amount of variety , multiple antipasti, primi and a dessert

Can only highly recommend this place :)

Came to the attached wine bar/shop for a glass of wine (I recommend, it's gorgeous) and liked the staff and ambience so much I stayed for dinner.

It was perfect. We stumbled across this pretty little town and then stumbled across this lovely little restaurant, but it was exactly what I wanted. The menu is classic Italian but with a fairly solid range of options. The food itself is no frills and simple, but really great. Recommend the tagliatelle with ragu, which was delicate and fragrant. I got the gnocchi, which was the best gnocchi I've had in Italy. The sauce was very simple, but the gnocchi was so soft it melted in the mouth.

Great place to eat Fiorentina. Very well cooked. And also the selection of wine is excellent. The staff is very kind but a little bit slow

This is a relaxed and homestyle Tuscan restaurant that delivers in the most important ways: food and ambiance. The garden in the back is a nice way to enjoy lunch or dinner with trees and branches overhead. Tourists and Italians are eating here, all for a good reason. The food is fresh, simple, but delicious. The tagliatelle was light and the pecorino di pienza with truffles was magical in the way food is only when produced locally. I didn't take a picture of my steak but it was cooked rare and was perfect. Unlike some establishments in Tuscany, they will cook your steak more than rare, but the server was clearly happy that I chose rare.

The service, generally, was great. They let you take your time eating and if they aren't coming to your table immediately, just get their attention and they are happy to take care of you. They offer wine and food suggestions and really seemed to take pride in their restaurant. If you're in this area, you should eat here.

Really yummy homey food, in the most beautiful restaurant that seems to always be full! I had an incredible Ragu, great place if you want good food.

I'm not sure why some reviews have been 1-2 stars. What we have experienced (my friends are Italian who live nearby) was nothing but a fantastic lunch. The ambience was great, the staff super friendly and the pastas really fresh. The dessert was exceptionally good but unfortunately my photo doesn't do justice. Look forward to returning soon!

A local restaurant in the heart of the village. There is a huge terrace on the back which makes it ideal when it is possible to sit outside.

Lovely place nice garden outside and amazing food! The strong point is the service, quick and staff very polite and friendly especially the sommelier such a warm person. Will definitely come back ☺

Such a wonderful restaurant with welcoming staff, delicious food and a beautiful garden with a wisteria 'roof'. Me and my partner had a lovely time and we will surely return next time we will visit Tuscany!

We ate fantastic here. They are offering handmade fresh pasta. The meat is grilled very good. Service was very friendly and could speak English very well. Eating here I could really feel the Tuscany way of enjoying food.

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Arrived without reservation and advised a table would be ready in 20 minutes. We got a table out the back on the verandah. Meal was delicious and great value. A lot of the pastas are homemade (by grandma). Good local wines. I would recommend the pici pasta.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden seating in the back! Eating under an umbrella of vines made for a cool and comfortable lunch. The pasta is handmade and perfectly cooked and the meat dishes were outstanding. We'll definitely return.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff was friendly, the service was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious and the homemade tiramisu was to die for!! I would come here again and again whenever possible.

Amazing food and service with a great location under a shady patio

Every year we visit San Quirico D’Orcia we visit also Trattoria Osenna. We love the home made pici! They are soft and really rich. With cacio e pepe or with ragú, they taste awesome everytime. We can also recommend the house wine and the home made tiramisu. Unlike traditional tiramisu it is made with chocolate splitters, but we really love it.

Great restaurant and service in this small Tuscan town. Delicious meat and pasta. Great wine selection.

One of the most amazing meals we’ve ever had in Italy…… ever. Service was very very professional and friendly. I can not understand how anyone could possible give this incredible trattoria a negative review. A big bonus was that the servers had a great sense of humour and the trattoria offers tremendous value with delicious and very generous servings. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience for lunch. Had the most wonderful fresh pappardelle with truffles. To die for. The beef was super highly quality and cooked to perfection. owners and staff were fantastic. Very low key place. Nice outdoor area. We ate inside, total Tuscan warm vibes. The restaurant has won several awards. Rightly so. My only regret was not ordering more!
