Ristorante Hotel Il Garibaldi

Today I remembered this meal that I had 5 years ago. I realized that if it is that memorable , I should write a review. It was early June 2019, and I was looking for a bathroom stop when searching for Capella Della Madonna di Vitaleta. I realized there was a restaurant and decided I should eat before continuing my quest. I still remember the steak, the wine, and the delightful sounds of small town local atmoshere. The view out the window that was like a painting. I hope to return some day. And to the darling, serene capella down 2 dirt roads because it is so deep in the heart of Tuscany. Grazie!

The best pizza place in the area. It was recommended to us by the two very nice hosts of the Azienda Agricola Vegliena. Their olive oil is sold here and is well worth a visit. If we are ever in the area again, I am sure we will make a stop here again 😊

Authentic and humble Italian food. Don’t judge the book by its cover. If you are not after a place with ambience but good good food, this is the place.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Tuscany for two weeks and visited this place multiple times. Genuine Italian food, their margharita pizza is to die for. Didn't stay at the hotel so I have no idea what that's like but the food is excellent!

Great location down by the water. The pasta was great. I had the spaghetti and everyone else in our group seemed to enjoy their meals as well. I’m not a seafood eater and they had other options.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. The restaurant is tucked away behind a gas station and does not look super inviting from the outside. But inside is very cosy and the food is amazing. One of the best pizzas I ever had. We are happy to come back soon.

We stopped there on our trip through Tuscany because friends recommended the restaurant, and it was totally worth it. We‘ve eaten the best pizza ever. It was so good that we also had to stop there on our way back home. But not only the pizza was amazing but also the pasta and carpaccio was simply delicious. The people are also super friendly. Try it out, you won‘t be disappointed!

New Year’s Eve dinner: 6 starters, 2 first courses and 2 mains, including wine and spumante. Great value for money. Don’t be fooled by the location. Food and service were both amazing.

Don't be scared off by the outside, this place is awesome. Top 5 pizza I've ever had and I've had a lot! Very friendly and patient staff using quality ingredients. A bit off the beaten path relative to City Center but definitely worth the effort. We drove over from Montalcino and will definitely return before we head back to the states.

This place was recommended but the place we stayed. Don’t pay attention to the front, the restaurant is awesome. Great food and service at a good price. So good that we went two nights in a row!

Don't be fooled by the gas station in front of the restaurant. This is a hidden gem :) The food was delicious.
We had a grilled octopus on mashed potatoes and pesto from the daily menu. It was really good :)

The hotel and service was great. The rooms are small but clean. The food was amazing, I am vegetarian and the waiters were so attentive, they changed my menu and made sure to eat good Tuscan food.

Everything here is delicious. Every time we come to Val d'Orcia we eat at Garibaldi at least twice. The food is awesome and the prices are more than reasonable.

This is definitely not what you'd expect. What it lacks in location, it makes up for in great food. I had the grilled octopus with mashed potatoes and parsley pesto. And tiramisu, TWO tiramisus because yes, it was that good. Absolutely amazing and custardy, although sweeter than the usual tiramisu, but worth every calorie.

Restaurant is fantastic.. the food is incredible and the staff /family that run it are lovely... Every time I come to Italy I insist on coming here. The hotel is basic but clean and not expensive. Would stay again.

Location behind a gasstation, but the food is excellent. The staff very, very friendly. Hidden pearl of San quirico!
