If you're looking for an affordable stay, incredible location, beautiful rooms and views, the most phenomenal hospitality and food then you absolutely have to stay at La Casa Sul Lago!
I recently stayed here for three nights as a solo female traveller and have never felt more safe and welcome than I did here. The owner GG is an absolutely incredible host! When I first arrived he made sure to highlight all the best spots for food and swimming along the lake, he helped me with my luggage and then offered me wine and food as soon as I was settled. The hospitality didn't stop there, he sat with me and conversed and was always checking if I needed anything. This stay was an absolute highlight of my recent europe trip and I could not recommend it enough! Plus the food is absolutely incredible!!!!

Super friendly host GG, helps with everything in very good English. Pool is great, rooms are basic but clean. Food is amazing!

We stayed here with a camp and what a great experience it was. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help. The food was super tasty and the rooms were certainly clean. It was also really close to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay there!!!

We come every year with a group of students from Germany. They always love the Casa sul Lago. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Gigi, the manager has become a good friend over the last 15 years. He has a relaxed way with the kids, and although we come with groups of 30 to 50 students, he always has time for advice, where to go, what to see. I have spent a few holidays with my wife at the Casa sul Lago, and we also enjoy the laidback life there. I can warmly recommend the Casa sul Lago for groups and also for a family holiday. Last but not least, the location is perfect, it's 150 metres to the Lago Trasimeno, half an hour to Perugia, thirty minutes drive and you are in Tuscany. My guidebook tells me that 20 percent of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites are situated within an area of 50 km around the Trasimeno

Giangiacomo is a brilliant host. This is a sleepy little town with a nice restaurant within a 5 minute walk of the hostel. Trains to and from Torricella are infrequent, so you'll need to plan your day trips carefully. Alternatively there is bus service, taxi service and the station at Magiore, 3 km away, offers more frequent train service.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful views, the most helpful staff you've ever met and incredible food. The pool was fantastic too. I recommend Casa Sul Lago!

Nicer pool

Schönes Haus auf einem angenehmen grünen Grundstück. Es gibt einen wunderbar kalten Pool und man hat die Gelegenheit Tischtennis oder Vier Gewinnt zu spielen. Auch der Besitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert :)

Abbiamo fatto un ritiro con 35 studenti e Giangiacomo ed il suo team ci hanno accolto in modo impeccabile. Sono stati attenti a tutte le nostre esigenze (specialmente alimentari, cuoco fantastico). Ci torneremo sicuramente

Siamo stati qui per una gita scolastica, il cibo è stato ottimo, le colazioni strepitose, pulizia delle camere al top e letti super comodi. È insolito trovare qualità quando ci si sposta con le scolaresche, ma questo posto ci ha sorpreso!
