Ristorante Fidelio

Ristorante Fidelio is truly a culinarily gem. Set in the most relaxing and pleasant garden, we had one of the best meals in our lives. We loved the food, atmosphere, and kind family that runs the establishment so much, we dined two nights in a row. When you are eating in their garden they make you feel like family. For me this is a very rare occurrence when eating at a restaurant and it should be cherished. The owner (chef), his wife and son Alessandro were so welcoming that it warmed our hearts. If you are in the Alberobello area it would be a sin to not eat at Ristorante Fidelio.

Only thing is the walk from the Trulli area is a little challenging at night. Other than that, it is perfect!

From the lighted winding path leading to the restaurant, to the delicious complimentary focus is, Fidelio was a treat. The food is imaginative, and varied, authentic and rich in flavour. The service was so warm and friendly.

What a great place, excellent menu the food was exceptional and the service you could not have asked for anything more. The owners are so down to earth and visit every table to make sure everything is satisfactory. We were fortunate to find this place, the entrance was not lit to enter the garden with a pond walking up to the restaurant. The decor and ambience was so welcoming and reminiscent of the area Trullis. A hidden gem not to be missed if you are in the Alberobello area.

What can I say about this wonderful restaurant, I will say its such a wonderful setting, such a calm, lovely environment.

The gardens are so, so lovely, what a setting. The food was totally above excellent, prepared with love and passion, it was above excellent.

All in all, this was one of the best we went to.

My two friends and I came here for dinner on our trip to Puglia. The music, the ambience, the setting outside by the garden made this an experience I will not soon forget. We had the burrata and fried ricotta to start, and then we shared the Sunday at Grandma's, Summer wind, and From the hill to the sea for our first (main) courses, all of which tasted amazing. No complaints with this restaurant, and I would recommend anyone visiting Puglia/Alberobello to dine here not just for the food but for the experience.

Absolutely divine food and a wonderful setting. Google Maps routes you to the back of the building so don’t be put off like we almost were.

A magical garden and patio to sit outside and the best food we’ve had in Italy. This place should have a Michelin star (seriously).

Best antipasti de casa we had in Puglia, amazing pastas, and beautifully cooked cuts of steak.

Must eat here if in this part of Puglia.

We celebtated my wife's birthday here today. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Although not in the centre of town it is well worth taking time out for this jewel of Italy. Enjoy!

This was our absolute favourite restaurant in Alberobello and a complete hidden gem. My kids loved exploring around the beautiful gardens while we enjoyed an incredible meal. The bread was perfection and the appetizer where they bring a tiny bit of everything was amazing. Fantastic wine too and finished off every meal with a fluffy and not too sweet tiramisu or strawberries and cream. Fantastic service and friendly staff. Thank you!

The service was great, friendly and fun, the food was very very good, the atmosphere exactly what you would expect from a local restaurant.
If you are in Trulli and want a great meal and experience go to Fidelio.
