We had an amazing experience here. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and inviting. They took the time to explain the dishes and took much pride in each ingredient that was locally sourced. Excellent! A must try! Thank you!

In town visiting and found a very local and authentic Italian restaurant. The dishes were served by the course to include the introduction. Taste of the fresh seafood, mix of flavors and blends from the region was delicious! My portion size was satisfying, but still gave a Beautiful presentation. The cost was in-line with the area and I found it to be a little less costly (compared to where i ate yesterday and I didn't have enough serving to fill a slice of bread at a higher price). The staff was very warm, and friendly. We felt at ease to talk about being here, the area and the food. The restaurant boast a beautiful atmosphere that gives decor and style with a desire for us to wear nice attire. I enjoyed all the early lunch and I have plans to return.

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, but it was a wonderful dining experience and a fantastic way to end the day.

This small, cozy restaurant promotes the slow food philosophy and offers a diverse menu. Our tasted dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious.

The guests at the restaurant are served by the owners themselves, as well as a very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are ready to patiently listen and advise you.

The service staff was prepared to handle international customers. The Introduction of dinner had a rhythm and balance in presentation, style, flavor and delicate taste. The atmosphere was beautiful, and i flew from California and this has been my favorite choice, thus far. We, my lovely eating "assistente" and I will return. Please look forward to full size meals as well as artisan presentation of dishes.

Stopped in for lunch today and it was absolutely lovely. it is a “slow food” restaurant focused on locally sourced seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted just as great. The cherry on top (or should I say candied caper) was the service - so attentive and excellent English. Explained each dish to me in detail. Thanks Roberto!

A friendly place. Caponata was dreamy. Inspiring wine selection focused on local producers, as it should be. The perfect answer to "no fine dining, please", but authentic and genuinely excellent place. Unpretentious and very rewarding.

Without a doubt the most delicious octopus so far in my life - tender and just perfect. I’ll probably keep dreaming of it for quite some time. High-quality ingredients which you can feel with every bite.

Can’t say I liked the other dish as much, but the octopus was worth it all.

A very nice restaurant if you’re looking to ear more than just well. Friendly staff, good service, perhaps a bit more pricey than what you would expect.

Today we had a wonderful time here. The restaurant is operated out of pure passion. The staff have different regular jobs and backgrounds. The Sicilian discovery menu was perfect. Every course came with a very good explanation of the food, the heritage and all other must-knows. Paired with a wonderful wine, it was our first and probably never-better experience in Messina.
Next time we come back to Messina, we will definitely go back here because of the food! Looking forward to it already.

Friendly staff who speaks English. In a stylish and relaxed setting. Great lunch set menu that’s inclusive of a glass of wine, bread, water, coffee and desert. Food was delicious. The wine was their own which was also very nice. Excellent value and a wonderful experience!

Found this restaurant by chance, with some French friends we had a great lunch everyone had high praises for food quality + personal great regional wines & dishes knowledge. Every course served was fantastic & the whole lunch was at an affordable price we didn't see for years in our travels. We had friendly Marcello and Roberto at our service. We had also the occasion to meet one of the passionate owners Andrea. This experience alone was worth the trip to Sicily, like being invited to a local family. Chao!

I'm just back from almost a fortnight in Sicily and whenever I'm in Messina me and my boyfriend visit Casa & Putia. The food is incredible.

Before visiting Sicily I didn't eat a lot of fish but this restaurant has been an education for me. The food is delicious, fresh and inventive. The owners are friendly and attentive and the waiting staff quick, efficient and friendly. They spend time to speak to you when you arrive and every dish is presented to the table with a description of what is on the plate including the origin of the food that makes up the meal. The menu is refreshed regularly which means I get a new experience every time I visit which is fantastic.

We loved this cute restaurant. We were in Messina during a layover and we discovered this quaint and lovely place. It reminds me of a farm to table restaurant I would see in the US. The owners welcome us with open arms and explained the menu. They even gave us special treats upon arrival.

We were passing through Messina and decided to stop here for lunch and were not disappointed. The food was outstanding, with homemade pasta and desserts to die for! The service was friendly and impeccable. If we come back to Messina, we will definitely be back here.
