Ristorante Il Paiolo - Bed and Breakfast

This place was excellent all around and some of the best steak I've had in...I can't even remember. What a treasure! Also, our German Shepherd got loose in the restaurant (broke out of her leash) and she ran straight to the kitchen where she was snuggling the chef - who was super cool about it all. Such friendly staff, amazing food, and a genuinely warm atmosphere.

During our journey to Florence, we stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a place to dine. Without a doubt, it served some of the most delectable meat we encountered during our trip. Their culinary skills are truly remarkable, resulting in a delightful meal. While the local wine may not have been exceptional, it was reasonably priced.

This is a typical Florence trattoria (italian local restaurant) where they serve mainly meat, aka “bistecca fiorentina”. I personally don’t like think and bloody meat but they served in a way that neither bloody nor too much cooked. It was pink and at the same time juicy inside. Loved the atmoshpere, very typical and good ingredients. Would highly recommend

We found that this Locanda like an Oasis in a desert. We had car trouble around Barberino during scorching hot day and after hours of waiting, we're towed to a nearby garage, where nothing could be done and our insurance just left us hanging, so we googled for a place to stay that allowed pets (and teenage kids).

La Locanda di Paiolo was a blessing from heaven! Not only were the rooms absolutely beautiful but there was airco and a jacuzzi! It was also equipped with the essentials for a nice stay and a mini fridge. We loved it! The people are absolutely lovely and were so kind to help us the next day when we had to go to the garage and took care of our kids and dog. They made us feel super welcome, like family! I will always remember our stay very fondly thanks to the staff but particularly Julia and Don Paolo who were our saviours.

They also have a great restaurant that has a great reputation and people from everywhere go there for lunch and dinner. The food is amazing and delicious, the prices are accessible and service is great. So far, my favourite place in Europe.

AMAZING restaurant! It's one of my favorite restaurants in Italy. Truly Italian. The staff is really patient and like to provide the best to its customers. Be prepared to at least understand a bit of Italian (basic words) to order stuff.

The best bistecca fiorentina that I have ever tried. Very good food! I would love to come back here.

Che fiorentina!!! Sono stato a pranzo con due colleghi ed abbiamo scelto un taglio da 2 kg strepitoso cotto benissimo. Buona la scelta degli antipasti e dei primi. Servizio buono e non invadente. Il ristorante non è molto grande, ma decisamente accogliente

Grazie ad un amico ho scoperto un posto magnifico, tappa fissa della Mille Miglia. E' un piccolo casale con diverse sale tutte adornate con cimeli della famossima corsa e non solo. Noi ci siamo recati per mangiare una bella fiorentina e il lungo viaggio non ha deluso le aspettative. Ottima sia la classica di angus che il sashi (decisamente piu' tenera). Servizio cordiale e veloce.

Torni sempre qui al paiolo per gustare una buonissima bistecca alla fiorentina.
A pranzo una bella bistecca di Angus 1.4 kg morbida e succosa, saporita.
Da amante irriducibile di questa prelibatezza non posso oltre a dare 5 stelle non ringraziare....

Il ristorante tipico italiano, abbondante, anzi ... molto abbondante ma gustosissimo. Specialità carne alla brace, la famosa fiorentina ma, le verdure cotte alla brace e le zuppe sono davvero buone!
La foto che allego è l'antipasto caldo per 1 persona!!!

Ci siamo trovati per soggiornare una notte mentre da Firenze ci dirigevamo a Modena. Abbiamo trovato un luogo fantastico, immerso nella natura, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato e si respira un'aria diversa, pulita e fiabesca. La stanza nella quale abbiamo soggiornato era enorme (quadrupla) e nel bagno vi era una vasca idromassaggio anziché la solita doccia. Bello l'affresco e il muretto in pietra credo antico. Una grande pecca è stata la presenza di cimici che attirati dalla luce erano una presenza sgradevole!😭
Tutto sommato do con piacere 4 stelle (senza cimici sarebbero state 5)
Abbiamo anche mangiato nel ristorante e devo dire che siamo stati AMPLIAMENTE SODDISFATTI. Primi, secondi, dolci, vini e liquori. Tutto alla grande. Consiglio le pappardelle ai funghi e la fiorentina, il buon vino rosso della casa, le bruschette, il tiramisù, l'amaro etrusco e la grappa nel bottiglione gigante!

Ci tornerò nuovamente con la mia famiglia.

Ristorante importante, soprattutto per gli amanti della brace e di tutto ciò che può andarci sopra, carne e verdure. Tortelli di patate alla crema di pecorino e guanciale croccante, favolosi. Bistecche di svariate scelte e maialino, semplicemente strepitosi.
Consigliatissimo per chi non lo conosce. Per gli altri buon appetito...

A pranzo con amici motociclisti prendiamo antipasti condivisi e Fiorentina Limousine con patate al forno e porcini alla griglia.
Tutto molto buono, anche i dolci. Personale preciso e disponibile. Ambiente accogliente e rustico.
