We had an amazing family dinner in the restaurant - lovely setting, fantastic food with a great variety and authentic Umbrian truffles, long wine list, and last but not least - outstanding service by Olga.

A restaurateur in London recommended it to us and we are really impressed.
I highly recommend visiting the restaurant and to follow the server's advice. Just a bliss!

The dishes were very delicious and we had some local specialty. The service of Gigi was outstanding and friendly. We had wonderful lunch here.

Had the most wonderful anniversary dinner at this restaurant. Great food, wine and service. I wished we had bought a few bottles of this local wine. It was one of the best we have had on our two week trip in Tuscany.

A fantastic lunch with American friends in the heart of Gubbio, this beautiful building, originally a school (900 years ago) was the perfect respite from the Umbrian sun as we surrounded ourselves with food, wine and the excellent company of our lovely waitress Olga

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants we've visited in Italy. Every dish was excellent and creative. The wine was excellent and the staff was very professional. I would come back there any time!

Very fine traditional fare in a shady backstreet served with quiet charm. It's our go-to for lunch in Gubbio. We book, but it's probably not necessary as long as you don't mind sitting inside.

Beef Cheek was incredible. Pasta with mushrooms was one of the best dishes ever. Restaurant is classic old school with the best of the best. Why would you go anywhere else???

Lovely setting, attentive service and fantastic food. The parmesan basket with fresh truffle and saffron risotto were top notch.

Good food, wide choice, gluten free options with allergens listed on the menu which is usually easier to manage. Small error on the menu with the mango parfait with white chocolate not listing gluten as an allergen. We were suspicious and asked confirmation: The chocolate was indeed not suitable... Apologies and promises of corrections... Yet another narrow escape. Apart from that very satisfying lunch.

We were looking for a restaurant with great atmosphere and delicious food and definitely found it here. The prices are a bit higher, but not too expensive. We had a 5 course menu for 45 euros. Good service and nice staff, they even changed the whole menu for the vegetarian eaters. Would recommend!

Lovely. The whole meal was gorgeous but so filling too. I'd definitely go back but it was pricy.

There is a reason why this is known as the best restaurant of Gubbio. Beautiful, gorgeous place, food outstanding and traditional even if it is a little pricey for Italy. But everything is outstanding and the hospitality is at it's best. They deserve every penny.

This restaurant at Gubbio is just amazing. The food is very delicious. The decor is interesting and the ambience is fantastic. Staff is very prompt and service is very good.

Amazing food, this well know restaurant, runned by Cav. Mencarelli is a milestone for traditional dishes and one of the best places to taste truffles in Umbria.
Very recommend.
