My dear uncles who live in Sulmona & Introdaqua first took me here many, many years ago. It’s NOT a tourist place AT ALL. I’ve been here many times since then, and even brought a group of colleagues there once (my gracious uncles paid for dinner). It’s not far from Sulmona, but it’s in the middle of nowhere…and SO worth the trip! Very reasonable prices, too! ❤ this place!

Great family atmosphere, great food and great times. The guys at La Trota are probably the friendliest we see in Abruzzo. Well worth a visit!

Amazing Neopolitan Pizza. Salad is fresh and wine is flowing. Nice family run pizzeria. A wide varity of pizza and make your own. They also serve a large MAXI pizza to share. Fresh pasta, fish and meat as well. At the end of your meal they offer complimentary fried dough balls, divine. It's consistency good food and welcoming.

Confortevole, cibo ottimo... ho assaggiato delle buonissime tagliatelle con funghi porcini.... insieme ai mitici arrosticini...il titolare Antonio... molto simpatico gentile e professionale...

Posto semplice ma accogliente, il proprietario ed il cameriere di garbata gentilezza. La pizza è ottima, luogo consigliato. Prezzi nella media. Torneremo.

Simpatia e velocità nel servizio fanno da cornice alle belle e buone pietanze che abbiamo consumato in questo ristorante, non posso esprimere giudizi sulle pizze, ma il numero di "scatole" che ho visto uscire sono indice di bontà.
Il pregio maggiore è l'abbondanza delle porzioni.

Come sempre è una certezza! Se si vuole mangiare una buona pizza questo è il posto giusto. Il personale è cordiale e il servizio è veloce.

Ottimo ristorante con ampia varietà sia di carne che di pesce, personale gentile, accorto e mai invadente, buona la pizzeria ma al mercoledì il pesce regna sovrano. Bravi. Fernando
