This place is amazing, the food is is different from all the common Italien restaunts that all serve the same stuff. It is absolutely delicious,deserts are awesome and the service was excellent, very attentive and friendly waiters. We will definitely come here again when we go back to Sulmona.

A monument to Local cuisine. The extremely pleasant outdoor terrace it makes it extremely attractive to overcome the summer heat.
Then the great variety of local dishes is even better. Very well presented and absolutely delicious. From gnocchi with salsicce and zafgerano to the starters, everything is great

Located just off the Main Street in Sulmona, this gem offers high quality Italian food. We were sitting in the front room and were able to enjoy seeing the grill at work.
We shared the starter for 2: it serves a variety of tiny dishes, all with an amazing taste. Meats that melt on your tong with sauces and condiments that matched extremely well. All courses we tried had the same amount of depth in flavor and were very tasty. Highly recommended restaurant.

We spent a long weekend in the Sulmona area and I asked around to some of the locals where to eat - I think three of the five said Biffi.

We made a reservation for Sunday night - very hard to find anyplace else open for Sunday dinner.

We dined outside and it was perfect! The weather cooperated despite threatening to rain, the wine flowed easily and we had a great dinner.

The young boys waiting on our table tried, but kinda missed the mark. They provided an English menu, but then they could read it… just stick to Italian we’ll manage.

We all shared the duck breast and charcuterie board starter. My wife ordered the gnocchini in pesto. My son had the pork Lon and it was the best dish on the table!

I ordered the beef tartar starter and the lamb as my main dish - wow was the lamb prepared perfectly! (My only small complaint was that it was literally just lamb, and would have been better w some potatoes or a veggie side… I forgot to order one and really the kid waiter could have reminded me…)

The house wine was great and everyone like their desserts from tiramisu to cheesecake to the gluten free passion fruit creamy mouse!

We will definitely return and so should you!

If you want extraordinary gastronomy, definitely try this place.

Wonderful to return to this restaurant after 10 years and enjoy it once again. Great food, great wine, great atmosphere, in Lucca you can't do better. Mille grazie!!

An excellent restaurant in the historic center of Sulmona. We arrived just after they opened at 7:30 pm without reservations. Our waiter offered us the option of dining inside and went out of his way to speak English and accommodate us. We each had a pasta and main course and everything was delicious. Aside from the warm temperature inside during the summer, we found the wait staff exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Excellent food at an affordable price with top notch staff. What more can you want? Decided to make a reservation immediately after having eaten here for the next day. Highly recommended.

Tonight was our first visit to La Cantina di Biffi. The staff helped us with our dinner choices, as we don’t speak Italian. The went over all of the menu, very patiently and helped us with friendly suggestions and advice. The food was every good and the suggested wine paired well. Service was excellent and the prices were modest. A very nice experience.

Best food on our entire trip in Italy. Service from a young guy who knew about Kronborg in Denmark was impeccable and the food extraordinarily good. Thank you!

Really really nice place. Excellent food and cool atmosphere. They even kindly amended one of their dishes as I’m vegetarian (not often done in Italy- it was nice that they were willing to accommodate without making it an issue. Highly recommended. Hope to visit again someday.

We had dinner at the restaurant on two consecutive evenings. On both occasions the food wine and service were exceptional at a very reasonable price. The owner was a very gracious host. Davide who spoke reasonably good English assisted us with the menu combined with his excellent knowledge of the local wines and spent the time to ensure you got what you were wishing from the wine.

We liked this restaurant. Great beers and wines and the food delicious. Highly recommended not huge portions but the dishes have flavour and we thought good value. Service outstanding (with the dishes explained in English)and served just the way we like, not rushed and time between courses.

Excellent wine and food! You will love the selection of wine. It is a hidden quiet place for people who enjoy all freshly prepared food. You have a small changing menu, but whatever you order is delicious. Food for vegetarians and people who like meat. Very special local cheese selection and gorgeous desserts. It is all arranged around the special wines from the area. A place for connoisseurs! Definitely our favorite place in Sulmona!

In the heart of Sulmona, a nice corner of great food Abruzzi-style We had a fantastic bufala mozzarella, a "tagliere" with cheese and cold cuts, a pasta in the shape of rings with sausages, vegetables and paprika. Nice kind people attending customers. Highly recommendable.

So far the best restaurant in Abruzzo. A slightly different menu with really very well cooked dishes. All cooked to perfection. I had fettuccine with fresh tartufo, crispy bacon and a lovely mushroom sauce (not with cream!). My wife had excellent vitello, one daughter had delicate gnocchi. The other one had the pork, which she liked - and although probably nice, the least appealing of the 4 dishes. All the offered antipasti by the house were scrumptious. The mouse dessert could have been a bit more generous, but that's the only thing I can complain about. The bill was a modest 89 euro and included 2 wines and 2 desserts. Excellent restaurant.

Had a wonderful relaxed and delicious meal here. Group of eight including one child, they cooked pasta with meatballs (not standard in Italy) especially for my daughter. All the pasta dishes were authentic and fresh sauce with real vegetables. We had two portions of Antipasto for starters which was more than enough as each serves two; buschetta, salami, cheese frittata etc. Delicious wines from local vineyards. Ambient lighting and lovely jazz and opera background design music. Highly recommend.
