We had dined here years ago and decided to return - we were not disappointed!

Perhaps the best restaurant in Sulmona!

The waitress was excellent and helped us (a party of six, two couple and two teen boys) through the ordering and helped us make the right selections - particularly challenging as our friends are gluten free.

We all managed a pasta and some meat dishes were shared along with a few contorni.

Pasta w saffron was a hit - both w gluten and without. Same for the pasta Clemente or house special. My son really like his lamb and everything else was hot and tasty all around!

If you’re in Sulmona, make a reservation and dine here, it’s excellent!

Very nice. Well priced. First course we took the abbruzo starter typical dishes for e18 which we managed to eat between two. 10 different dishes, then we had a pasta macaroni ordered as main course but we couldn't manage to eat not even half. All dishes were nice. The bread, ricotta, every delicious and fresh...the house win... all the Italian way.

Delicious experience in this historical restaurant. My friend has been coming here all her life with her family. The service was exceptional with great smiles. The Clemente traditional pasta was very tasty and they brought us complementary entry and desert. Lovely as ever to still have places like this.

Excellent regional kitchen, lots of antipasti served over long period (1h30m) accompanied with lovely pizze fritta. Argentinian Steak was very tasty, salted just right. Consider taking medium rare as the rare was almost too rare. Highly recommended, the antipasti by itself will be enough for lunch.

I will be thinking of this meal for a long time. The vegetable antipasti, along with the house made pasta, was a highlight of our trip.

The food was simply delicious (and very good quality) and the service was fast as well! We didn't wait too much and waitresses were all nice. Went out as a family with a lil children but yet we had 0 problem!

Amazing experience! Food and service were excellent. Very generous with portions. Great way to spend an early Sunday meal.

Excellent food. Came for lunch, and was a bit out of touch with Italian takes on portion sizes. Ordered "Taste of abruzzo" (I think it was called) as a starter to split between two persons. We were warned that it might be a bit small for two. In reality it was a struggle to finish our pasta plates (which had a more normal size) after this starter.

Prices reflect the quality. You will probably find cheaper food in Sulmona, but I will definitely come back here to eat if I'm ever in Sulmona again.

Wonderful restaurant in the center of Sulmona. The service is excellent and the food up to the standards of the region of Abruzzo. We will come back!
