This place is a gem! Amy and Marc are gracious hosts and have created an outstanding restaurant with the perfect Langhe view across vineyards towards a hilltop village. Amy is a trained sommelier who guided us through the wine choice while Marc created mouth-watering dishes. Will definitely return.

What a wonderful restaurant! The menu was diverse yet short enough to assure quality execution. The meal my wife and I enjoyed was very creative, without being either cute or stuffy; the preparation and presentation were excellent. The wine list is amazing and the service was very friendly, but also, very professional. The view was incredible. We will be back - it's just a matter of when.

As we entered we were greeted by our server, the sommelier, Amy, the chef’s wife, and then by Marc, the amazing chef. We were seated at a table with an amazing view of the vineyards and valley below. Exquisite! The restaurant is updated and charming. We opted for the four course dinner, which was more like 7 or eight (we lost count) with wine pairing. From start to finish every bite and sip of wine was fabulous. It was the perfect way to end our stay in Piedmont. If you are near Alba you won’t want to miss it.

Exceptional. We had such a memorable experience tonight. The building is lovely, the food is divine and the service is absolutely on point. We had the flan and egg for starters and the Tajarin with white truffle for main. Perfectly prepared. I would make a point of making a reservation here for anyone traveling to the Langhe. Every year we spend a 4 day gastronomic visit to Piémont. This year it was just by the chance that we discovered this beautiful restaurant. The food were from the starters to the dessert fantastic. Every course was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented and also very well and professionally served. One of the best restaurant we have had in the last few years in Piemont.The restaurant owners and personnels were very friendly. It was our first time in this restaurant but definitely not the last time.

The restaurant serves Breathtaking views of the Piemonte Wine Region along with culinary expertise that doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend for a delicious food and atmosphere experience. Hosts are very gracious and will accommodate any dietary needs.

I love fine food and this restaurant didn’t disappoint . It was fantastic and Amy and Marc were very hospitable. The wine pairing was perfection and I can’t wait to come again . For all my foodie friends I would highly recommend.

Most delightful experience every way! Best of all, chef had a vegetarian tasting menu, that you do not typically find. We enjoyed every dish that we ordered. The views are awesome overlooking the vineyards.

When we entered the restaurant, our hostess, Amy, greeted us warmly and showed us to a table overlooking a beautiful view of the vineyards and hills of Piemonte. From that moment until the moment we left at the end of the meal, our experience was phenomenal. The four of us chose one of the tasting menus accompanied by 3 local wines and we were thrilled with every dish and every wine we were served. The foie gras was superb, the fish was glistening and succulent, the pasta was expertly prepared, the meat was tender and scrumptious, and the dessert provided the perfect finish. I have food allergies and the chef accommodated my needs without sacrificing the taste or the beauty of any dish. Italians tend to be foodies, so we have come to expect good meals in Italy, but this meal was the best we have ever eaten. It has been 2 weeks since we enjoyed this meal and we still haven’t stopped talking about what a wonderful experience it was.

Do not miss this restaurant for lunch or dinner...Yes, they serve lunch!!!! On the patio, and you can visit the museum as well. It is a wonderful day trip. So delicious, and this was our favorite place we ate in all of Piemonte! Chef Marc and Amy are passionate about what they do and really are just the best.

Incredible staff, setting and view, amazingly he food was more beautiful than the view. Each and every bite was mind blowing ! I can’t imagine a more perfect meal . Thank you for a wonderful time !

This is a gorgeous and top notch restaurant. We spent 10 days in the area and it was one of the best meals we had the whole trip.
The owners clearly care a whole lot and are doing an incredible job in these very challenging times. Food and wine pairings were outstanding. Highly recommended to visit the castle!

This was the 2 nd time we dined at the namesake restaurant. The 1 st time was at Castellarin Grinzano and this time was his new location surrounding the beautiful vines of Piemonte in Castagnito D’Alba. Great memorable meal with impeccable service and views. A definite worthwhile stop for lunch or dinner.

The moment you walk into this restaurant you know something special awaits! The view is spectacular and the dining room is gorgeous. Both my husband and I thought the tasting menu was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Amy and Marc were the most kind and generous hosts. Be sure to add this gem of a restaurant to your “must dos” if you are in the Alba area.

Excellent, not great, but excellent! We appreciated recommendations from Amy and flawless cookings from the chef ☺ I wish we could be introduced to some good wines, sommelier was a bit distancing so we didn’t get to try a variety of local wines, but we will be sure to visit again!!
