It was late in the afternoon, the kids were hungry, and we have stumbled upon Naevia. The kind staff took us in even though we had no reservation. Lucky, lucky us, this was a lunch I will never forget.

Im my humble opinion, this is Piemontese kitchen at its finest. The Vitello Tonnato was amazing, the Plin is hands down the best you will find. Instead of the commonly found sirloin they were served a perfectly done Picanha steak, and the brasata was so so good, served with the richest wine sauch I have ever tasted, we had to order another one.
Even the kids pasta was delicious, homemade, drowning in melted butter. My daughter was also melting as she ate it.

The raspberry puffed-up (for lack of a better word) penna cota with chocolate core served as a pefect finish, and we had an awesome bottle of the Maria Teresa Barbera by Cecilia Monte as the perfect companion to all that goodness.

I have to visit them again in the truffle season. If you are around you must call them up and reserve, it is a place of pure culinary joy.

Lorenzo is a wonderful host. Naevia has the best Raviolio Plin that we had in the whole of Piedmont! The hospitality was outstanding. Super wine list & great location. Definitely worth a visit.

Naevia is a must! Excellent well thought out menu highlights the Piemontese cuisine in a sophisticated yet approachable way, great wine selection and excellent service. We dined there twice in our short stay in the region, definitely a highlight for the town of Neive. Bravo Lorenzo and team. A la prossima!

Piacevolissima scoperta aver voluto provare questo ristorante di passaggio a Neive, in questo bellissimo borgo...tra i più belli d'Italia.
Gustato dei piatti veramente ottimi .... dall'entre' offerto dalla casa al dolce... tutto davvero delizioso...

Personale di sala veramente molto gentile e molto competente anche per quanto riguarda i vini.
Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò sicuramente quando ritornerò in zona.

Il paese di Neive è decisamente interessante e ricco di ristoranti ed enoteche, oltre alle tante chiese. Il panorama ovviamente è fantastico.

Il ristorante ha alcuni tavoli esterni, ma visto il caldo torrido abbiamo optato per la sala interna, con aria condizionata.

Locale ben arredato, stile tra moderno e del territorio, molto ben integrati.

Ottima carta dei vini di alto livello. Molto bella anche l’esposizione a parete.

Oltre ai piatti tipici della zona il menù propone alternative tra mare e terra, sortendo dei risultati tanto sorprendenti, quanto buoni.

Apprezzatissimo il piccolo entrée e la piccola pasticceria per accompagnare il caffè, a corredo delle altre portate.

Prezzi allineati o appena sopra agli ristoranti del paese, ma sicuramente più particolari ed interessanti (per i nostri gusti)

I borghi nelle vicinanze sono molto meno ricettivi per il turista, belli ben tenuti ma lungo la settima rischi di non trovare neanche un bar aperto.

Ci siamo finiti quasi per caso e sono rimasto impressionato dalla qualità dei piatti.
Abbiamo preso una zuppa di Astice , e dei Ravioli al polpo con salsa al aglio Nero e Katsuobushi ed erano entrambi ottimi.
I Ravioli in particolari erano Eccezionali.
Il servizio é molto attento e l'interno del locale molto carino.
