Osteria Pane Salame

In a tiny little street not so off the beaten path but hidden enough to give that cosy vibe, Osteria is low key, perfect for a romantic date or quiet family outing, lots of wood and low lighting especially in the evening. It has a smaller menu than most places, not offering the world but what they do is good. With a great wine menu you can't go wrong, their house cantina is exceptional or bottles from more notable vineyards of the region will surely tick boxes. It has one of the best spinach Gnocchis in Riva (a must get), great meat and cheese platters to nibble and natter over, as well as wonderful pasta. The service staff are efficient yet respectful and will talk as much as you require. Osteria will close fairly early (around 11, quiet from 10) so don't get too settled in, your time will fly by. I say go with four people, share some antipasti and a few bottles of wine, tuck into a second dish and wind down with some more wine. Grazie Osteria hopefully we'll visit again one day.

Crazy good food, the owner and waiters are super nice, I almost want to say it’s the best food I have ever eaten. A reasonable price, but it’s good to know that they don’t have pizza for those who want to eat that. 100% recommend. 10/10 experience

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The ambience is lovely and the food even more so. We had carpaccio, pasta, wine and THE best tiramisu I’ve ever had in my life! It is a must if you go to Pane Salame. The staff was super nice! Can’t wait to come back!

Friendly staff & very tasty food.

As I´m not used to write reviews (once per few years) now I have to - we had the best dinner during our week in Riva here. It´s definitely not a tourist trap but a real Italian restaurant with all the habits belonging to the Italian (not only) dining culture so if you do not like it or you do not get it (as for some stupid reviews like "I couldnť get only a drink" when they have only a few seats) go for another restaurant then. It´s the perfect price-quality option. Thank you!

Simple good and friendly

We think the title explains in a nutshell the way we experienced Osteria Pane e Salame. We are writing this review after 4 dinners where we tried many of the dishes except one for which we went twice, the antipasto with trota. All the dishes were high quality, fresh and tasty. The wine suggestions never missed the point, we recommend Lagrein. Service at the level of the food. We loved it. Very nice waiter...

Amazing trentino food not the traditional southern italian cuisine. The pasta with trout is just delicious. Also the house wine tastes really good. We had a wonderful evening. Clear recommendation.

The food was unbelievable. The salami and cheese starter was very good and the carpaccio was amazing. the gnocchi was also very good. Staff was attentive and pleasant. I recommend this place.

Amazing! I thought they called pizza's big bruschetta as a joke.
Well it was nota joke! I won't spoil all the fun, but this was one of the best pizza/bruschetta I ever had.

Nice place with nice food. Food is simple, but good. Can’t jadge about wine, but the grappa card is remarcable. Friendly stuff!
