Monteverdi Tuscany

staying at this property was a dream. hands down the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. the attention to detail, design, food and service were all equally outstanding. there is such peaceful, romantic ambience and I often daydream of being back here.

We unfortunately missed our first night due to a flight cancellation, and decided to extend a day to make up for it. The concierge was so kind to upgrade us to the honeymoon suite for our last night, free of charge, what a pleasant surprise. Huge shout out to Max, as he made it happen and just provided excellent friendly service our entire stay.

Also, the spa is a MUST. We didn't even book a service, just paid to do the spa circuit (cold plunge, sauna, relaxation room etc) and we were blown away.

I need to come back here one day. If you are on the fence about staying here... book it! Although I want to keep this place as a hidden gem. Lol

one helpful thing to note - if you are renting a car, make sure to rent a sturdy SUV. the roads are steep and gravel, and its tricky driving at night.

No adequate words to describe this incredibly beautiful place, interior and exterior. The interior architecture does indeed deserve a whole book about it. It is phenomenal and just so beautiful. Every house, every room is different. Whichever house or room you choose, you can never go wrong. They are all superb. The bed linens are heavenly. I have travelled the world and Monteverdi Tuscany is amongst the most exceptional places.
My daughter Emma celebrated her 35th birthday with 40 guests. She reserved the place for 4 days, 3 nights.
It could not have been more special and outstanding and everybody had the best and fun time.
The service and staff were exceptional and went out if their way to accommodate, the spa is superb and so very special, the food Michelin star worthy. Monteverdi deserves The highest ratings in every category and aspect.

Absolute magic. You must experience this truly unique, breathtaking place unlike any other. The service and the staff is absolutely top notch (even better than other 5-star hotels we stayed at in Italy). The rooms are unique and out of a storybook - we can't stop talking about this spectacular hotel. Highly recommend the spa experience - my massage with Sarah was next level. Simone makes the most incredible wine recommendations and is truly looking out for the experience of the guest. We can't wait to return one day.

This cannot be overstated - this is simply the best authentic, 5 star Tuscan experience that one can have. The hotel is a part of a hilltop village, both its center and an active member. It's a disperse hotel, taking up multiple beautifully preserved villas which are accessed by walking along manicured paths.

The hotel has an ancient church, now a gathering center as well, a boutique, a spa, a gym, two restaurants, three bar areas, and multiple indoor and outdoor lounge spaces.

Our room, not a suite, was spacious enough that we felt at home and relaxed for four nights. It was well laid out, with shower and other products. As with every single square meter of Monteverdi, it had an amazing view.

The spa was simply world class - the heated pool, multiple cold plunges, multiple saunas, and all services were well beyond our high expectations.

The infinity pool was not yet open as of 7 May, but it clearly provided an unparalleled view of the Tuscan countryside.

Finally, the staff are magnificent. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, they were an integral part of our amazing experience. We simply cannot wait to come back!

Our group of 7 was fortunate to visit this stunning property to take part in Chef Giancarla’s wonderful cooking academy. I experienced responsive, professional and kind service throughout the process of arranging & attending our cooking class. After we arrived & were shown to the class, the concierge let us know that one of our vehicle tires unfortunately did not survive the gravel drive up to the property. They then arranged to have the flat tire fixed - handling it all while we continued to enjoy the cooking class. Simply outstanding service. Based on that and what we saw & experienced during the class, I have no doubt that guests of this resort must enjoy fabulously attentive & gracious service.
We were lucky enough to tour the property after our cooking class.The grounds are amazing, offering some of the most beautiful vistas we saw during our exploration of Tuscany. The grounds and interiors are very obviously well cared for and offer many quietly beautiful places to gather or relax both indoors and out. Lastly, Chef Giancarla’s cooking academy was such an informative and fun experience. We rearranged other day trips in order to participate in this class and it was well worth it. Chef Giancarla is delightful and welcoming, while sharing her cooking knowledge and genius with the class. The meal that we helped create (with just the right amount of help from her and her team) was so delicious and enjoyed on a beautifully set outdoor dining table. It was the perfect way to spend our last day in Tuscany. Thank you so very much to the Monteverdi team and Chef Giancarla and her team for this experience. It was a beautiful gift to close out our trip to Italy.

One of the most architecturally beautiful hotel properties and restaurant! We had the most amazing dinner experience.. the food was beyond delectable, the service top notch … just a magical experience all around. Pietro & Jorge set the bar very high and delivered with gracious hospitality. Perfecto!!

This property is straight out of a dreamy magazine! It’s breathtaking views, service, decor, food, etc. are all above and beyond! In love with everything about it.

Fantastic everything. Fiama is an outstanding host; Pietro, Cristina and all the staff are full of life and so hospitable. Giancarla's cooking classes are informal, friendly, and fun - her restaurant experience is NOT to be missed, and can delight couples and groups for many nights in a row.The spa experience was great, and I expect it will evolve upwards as the new spa center opens imminently. The grounds, restored buildings, outdoor dining, and infinity pool are tastefully incorporated into the landscape. Sunrises are best viewed from the Chef's garden or the walkway in front of the small gym, and the terrace provides a stunning sunset and extensive cocktail menu. The restaurant and two bars are perfectly organized to meet your every need. The rooms are all unique and each has their own custom furniture and curated art and decor. Big thanks to all the staff, and a neverending bravissimo to Michael, whose vision and effort has brought a tasteful modern lightness to historic Castiglioncello del Trinoro.

We stayed for almost a week and loved the place very much. The interior design is out of this world! We had one of their regular rooms and it was big and filled with very nice furnitures. The service was basic but really excellent, you don't have concierges running after you all the time but you get everything you ask for. The breakfast buffet was of highest quality and we were hat dinner at the restaurant twice. The food and prices were great. You definitely need a car to reach the Tuscan POI. I'd say the location is maybe the greatest weakness of the place as you need at 30 Minutes at least to reach most bigger places. But if you have time it's worth every ride as you will drive through the most beautiful land in the world. Highly recommended place!

Wow! What a great blessing to visit this beautiful place on earth. In addition, the people who work here are lovely! Could be the best food and wine in Italy.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Monteverdi filling the days with a long relaxing spa day, an amazingly fun cooking class with Chef Giancarla and a full day of wonderful wine tastings and tours. The hotel itself, our room and the property are blissful. We will return...soon.

Visiting Monteverdi Tuscany was a magical experience, really a dream. I absolutely loved walking around - getting to know the property, learning about its history, seeing that they grow their own veggies, getting a massage, meals were spectacular and dessert was simply divine. They make their own bread and pasta 😍 and you can take a private cooking class with the Chef. Loved spending nights by the fire making friends. The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. We also had the auspicious opportunity to meet and dine with Chef Giancarla, Steve Tyrell and his lovely partner Janine Sharell - I truly loved every moment of our stay.

OMG this hotel is amazing! The sheer beauty of the hotel, the rooms and its surroundings are inspiring. Friendly staff, outstanding food and comfortable atmosphere. Love the Tuscan countryside.
