Elegant relaxing resort with outstanding service
We were thrilled with our upgrade to a suite overlooking the pool and the beautiful bay of Cefalù. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, ready to speak English or Italian with us. Delicious food in elegant surroundings. Live music one night by a talented pianist. Superb experience!

Fabulous stay in Cefalu on the beach
Beautiful hotel situated close to the town of Cefalu - easy walk and we found it no problem after dinner in the dark (pretty well lit). Beautiful pool and swimming in the ocean from secluded spot or busier deck/beach club site.
Restaurant was exceptional - the breakfast was wonderful and the dinner one of the best I have ever had. Coupled with some of the most delicious wines.
We had a basic room but it was perfect for our needs - we spent most of our time out of the room anyway exploring the town, Palermo and the other facilities...
Front desk staff were very helpful - in particular in planning our trip to Palermo - don't drive but take the train was an excellent suggestion.

We loved staying at Le Calette. It was in a great location, not right in town so it was peaceful yet still close enough to town if you wanted to go shopping or eat there, although we loved the restaurants at Le Calette and preferred them over town options. The entire land was beautiful and completely enjoyable. Staff was kind and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

This is a stunning hotel in beautiful surroundings around and above the cove providing privacy but within a short walk to the town of Cefalu. The staff were, without exception, welcoming and attentive but not obtrusive. The gardens, beach club, pool and access to the sea means that guests can find a quiet spot in sun or shade. A minor issue with our air con was solved very promptly and courteously. The setting for breakfast is really special.

This hotel is lovely with outstanding staff. Our room was comfortable, food is great, service is wonderful. The pool area is nice and you can enjoy lunch and drinks poolside. I highly recommend staying here. The head waiter deserves a special shout out—he made our stay nicer.

Absolutely loved our stay at Le Calette! Everything about it was incredible from the staff to the rooms, facilities and scenery. When our daughter became ill the staff arranged a doctor for us and they were so willing to help us in anyway they could. We had the most incredible experience and could not recommend it more highly. Certainly a 5 star hotel in every way. We hope to visit again some day!

The rooms are spread out over the property, there is no easy way to get down to the 'beach' area, but once there it is worth it. Staff is attentive, rooms are beautiful, well worth the price.

The breakfast was excellent and offers a large variety of food.
We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and we had a blast.
The rooms are well designed, the only downside from my perspective is the blue light of the switches that are a bit too bright in the night and the fact that if you are on the ground floor you cannot open a window.
The beaches are beautiful.
You can walk into the city of Cefalu. It takes about 30 minutes and it's beautiful.

We have traveled to the Amalfi Coast, Sardinia, Santorini, Cinque Terre, and many other European locations… there is something magical and relaxing about this coastal vibe at Hotel Le Calette. The fine dining restaurant on property was a dark horse and honesty undersold by reception but was a fantastic meal experience and one of the most beautiful views. It’s a must while there. We never even left the property (which is unlike us) because it was such a perfect experience. Can’t recommend this enough for a relaxing getaway that isn’t too touristy. La Dolce Vita!

I had the privilege to return to the Hotel Le Calette for the second time after 2022.  The hotel is always a dream to come to.  The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the rooms are of high standard and the staff make one feel at home.  The yoga is a must. The sessions are excellent for releasing tension, stretching the body and learning to relax.  Highly recommended to everyone.

Loved this hotel. It went way beyond our expectations for this short stay in Cefalu. We wish it could have been longer! It is a large property with multiple decks for sunbathing by the sea and cooling off in the water plus a pool with a gorgeous view. You also have access to their private beach club a short shuttle ride away. We loved that it was only a 20 minute walk to town along the coast so you could access the restaurants of Cefalu while having quiet back at the resort. Staff was always accommodating and breakfast was a true highlight - one of the best we had in three weeks Italy. Even though surely the resort was full during our stay, it never felt crowded, always pleasant and peaceful.

OMG! The hotel of my dreams. The staff is absolutely incredible (especially Irene!), the beach is spectacular, the food is wonderful. I didn’t want to sleep- I wanted to sit outside and enjoy as much as I could. I will come back as soon as I can!

Fantastic, gorgeous property that is meticulously maintained. The staff is truly representative of the proud, respectful, hard-working history of Sicilians.

This hotel is a total gem. We planned to say for one night, extended to two, and wish it had been three. Staff, food, pool, etc. all off the charts. Breakfast on the bluff is a blissful way to start the day. Only one small request is that given how huge the property is, would be nice to have a real gym.

A little slice of heaven on the east side of town behind LaRocca. Most of the views overlook the marina which is not optimal but you still get a nice slice of the sea. We stayed in a well-appointed suite with a patio and small kitchen/living area in addition to the bedroom. Very comfortable. Derik the Concierge and the staff at the front desk are ultra-responsive with whatever you need. Free shuttle bus runs into town and back by appointment which is very convenient. The pool was immaculate and the patio area just beautiful. We did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet, which was included in our room package, was spectacular. About a 20 minute walk into the old town or a 7 minute/10 Euro cab ride. All in all, truly a 5-star experience. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Bay and Garden (4 stars). Great great room and very professional staff.

Entrance is a bit weird cuz you have to ring for the reception but the receptionist comes outside to greet you at the door. They handle the car and luggage. Great pool. Not much of a sandy beach more of a deck beach as it’s very stony.

Wonderful position overlooking the harbour. Spacious outside areas with the opportunity of doing yoga with a professional Swedish teacher. Very friendly staff and ample choice of dining inside and outside. All in all a very relaxing atmosphere

We stayed in Cefalù for a short vacation in Sicily and walked to the restaurant at the Le Calette hotel one evening. The pathways are kept immaculately and are well lit, and the facility itself looks impressive: several styles of cabanas and rooms overlook the ocean, all in white stucco with red roof tiles. The restaurant prices are a bit pricey but are comparable to the more touristy places in the center of the city. The location beats any in the city itself, however. The hotel is located on the other side of a large cliffside above the city. The location is secluded and is adjacent to a small, upscale residential neighborhood. As a consequence, you can have enjoy a peaceful time listening to the ocean and nearby sea birds as you eat your meal in the dark by candlelight. The stars illuminated the sky above us, and the hotel employs a wonderful piano player to entertain the guests with airy music accompaniment to the ocean sounds. All in all, it is a more expensive place to consider than others in the Cefalù area, but the location, the beauty of the surroundings, and the attention to detail for the accommodations makes it an attractive place to spend a peaceful vacation on the Tyrrhenian sea.

The hotel and its staff were our first stop in Sicily and it set the tone. Impeccable service, comfortable rooms with private patios. Beautiful views, a private beach and swimming pool with comfy loungers. Loved the gym. Perfect stay.
