We had an amazing stay at Hotel Villa Campomaggio. The hotel staff assisted with anything we needed throughout our stay, and also arranged a beautiful wine experience at the winery up the road. It was unforgettable! Our villa was spotless and plenty of room for our group of 4. There was good hot water and the A/C units worked great.

The hotel grounds and amenities are beyond beautiful. Photos don’t do it justice. The grounds are unbelievably well-kept and you feel like you’re in another world. I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway as well as a fun Tuscany experience. Our group enjoyed the pool, spa, and restaurant. I must also say that the on-site hotel staff are so friendly and accommodating. They remembered any dietary restrictions our group had throughout our stay. They truly made our experience memorable. Meals on-site were delicious, we didn't know what to expect but were amazed by the high-quality food and beverage options. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back!

So tranquil! Staff was very welcoming when we arrived and during our time at the hotel. We opted for the room with the terrace (33) and the views were wonderful. Would recommend staying here again.

What not to love. If you love peace and serenity, this is the place,
Yes ,it is in the middle of nowhere ,but that is the beauty and charm. It is Tuscany, not a Florence or Venice, with million of people around.Staff, customer service and the rooms spectacular. They were working short , and we even didn't prebooked the meals and got the best meal we ate in Italy.I believe ,if you go to Europe you expect the history and old buildings. If you looking for perfection go to Dubai,
My only negative part was, that we couldn't stay longer.
But , we will be back one day.

A group of 10 of us stayed here last week for our wedding. It was absolutely lovely. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our wedding week unforgettable!

Lovely Villa. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The landscape around the property is nice. I wish they offered more amenities like bike rentals or activities. The location is ideally centered in Chianti if you're looking for touring wineries.

Such an amazing place! It's a hidden gem for a perfect weekend getaway. We stayed in a superior room that was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The access to the spa area and swimming pool was included in the price, which added to the overall value.

One thing to note is that the hotel doesn't have its own kitchen, so it's advisable to book your lunch or dinner in advance. This ensures they are prepared to serve you promptly. However, no booking is needed for the aperitivo, which is accompanied by some chips.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We received great assistance whenever needed. We'll definitely be coming back!

Just returned from visit this extraordinary resort! We stayed in the apartment with two bedrooms and it fit the three of us perfectly. Our three night stay was the best three nights of our Italy trip. The pool was perfect! The food was amazing! The staff was incredible! I cannot recommend this resort enough and we will be making a return visit!

A Tuscan gem with the best location, nicest staff, and aristocratic charm. We were amazed by how stunning the grounds were and how well maintained the villa and common areas were.

It's almost impossible to provide constructive criticism, but here are a few minor things we talked about:

1. The beds in our apartment were a little bit hard.
2. The air-condition was leaking in our apartment, a lot, and despite notifying the staff about it and them sending someone over to fix it, it continued to leak so we could only keep it on for a few minutes at a time.
3. The lunch/evening menu was great, but we missed a good steak on the dinner menu, some meat, some potatoes. There's a lot of pastas. (The stuffed tortelloni is a must try!)

Again, minor things. We will undoubtedly return.

We are here now for the second time - and we are truly in love with this charming place: The Villa is seated directly in and above vineyards, the view on the surrounding landscape is wonderful and the Villa itself a magical place.

As I write this review, I stumbled across some comments complaining about the staff. This is absolutely not true, that I can promise you!
At both our stays we were warmly welcomed and the service of the entire staff was extremely friendly throughout both stays.
Simply put: The Atmosphere is amazing and creates a “retreat” or “hideaway” like experience.

To not forget: The SPA is amazing and you can book a great variety of well executed massages to treat yourself!

We will definitely return for a third time!

I can't rave more about this place - the grounds are beautiful, the room's are extremely comfortable and staff is beyond accommodating. We had an issue and requested the front desk to give a call to book a vet appointment for us (as we don't speak Italian) the front desk person went above and beyond our expectations, she called several places and got what we needed. Beside that the spa is great and pool has amazing views. Food is great as well. The hotel is small so reservations are always required, but easy to get.

Pet friendly but well-behaved puppers only.

The only con is that the pool is frigid! But we did only try in the evenings.

What a wonderful few days, I don’t think I can properly convey in words how peaceful and charming Campomaggio is, but I’ll try.

Each and every member of staff was lovely, we felt welcome and safe in their company and the service was second to none, you can tell this is a family run business as it feels like a home.

Our room was cosy and chic with a great bathroom and impressive high colombage ceilings.

We had breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food is delicious. The breakfasts are well portioned and varied and the dinner menu has very fresh produce. (Yummy cheeses with jams)

Now for the grounds…my goodness. This hotel and its grounds were clearly designed with relaxation and style in the brief and are very well looked after. The whole compound is bursting with colour and scent, manicured gardens and incredibly comfortable seating situated in front of fabulous views.

I couldn’t recommend this villa any more - it’s quite breathtaking!

Where do I start?! This place was lovely in every sense of the word. From the views to the service you couldn’t ask for better experience. Our room was beautiful with a stunning view of Chianti hillside vineyards and a private balcony. My only regret is that we only booked for two days. I look forward to returning to this magical place one day and will be sending my friends and family here.

Really great place to stay! The grounds are beautiful and our room had an amazing view. There are some mosquitos outside in this area of Tuscany so bring some bug spray along with you!

This place is absolutely incredible. The staff are lovely and ensure your stay is stress-free. We stayed in room 32 and the views over the vineyard were beautiful. There is a pool that is quiet and just incredible to be at during a hot summer day, in the evenings we enjoyed the numerous sauna rooms available at the beauty centre. There is a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, it is a small selection of pasta, cheeses and salads. It was a true Chianti experience and we will definitely be going back!

Excellent villa and staff. Great location with many good restaurants nearby. It's a little hard to find, but a great small hotel. The pool and spa are super nice, and the service was excellent. You can order small pasta plates after 7PM, and they are reasonable and good - especially the blue cheese ham one. The town of Radda is only about 5KM away, and there you can find a nice little grocery store called COOP, and you can pick up cheap food and wine. Note: they are closed from 1-4PM!!!! If you are going to the Chianti region, this is the place to stay!!!

What an incredible opportunity! Our stay at Villa Campomaggio was without words really. From the excellent hospitality, to the views, to the location, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay during your time in Chianti. We rented a car for a few days (they have tons of free parking available), and drove around to some of of the best vineyards known in Tuscany- and only 20-30 mins away. Definitely will be staying here again

This is a beautiful hotel set in the magnificent Tuscan hills. The room was cool and well appointed. The bar is excelllent and the restaraunt serves a good range of dishes at reasonable prices - the breakfast was excellent. The whole atmosphere is one of calm and tranquility. Above all the staff are wonderful: always very helpful and most welcoming. This was our third visit - we will be returning!

Completely worth it !
It's a really nice little hotel set on a beautiful Italian property in the middle of the vineyards. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the hotel himself is well maintained. And the spa is clearly a plus, I mean : in a small hotel like this one you would expect a Jacuzzi, a sauna, an etrusc bath and a hammam in the basement. Also the staff is very friendly and professional.
I would recommend it for sure !

What a friendly, welcoming villa set beside rolling hills in Tuscany. Loved staying here. Wine tasting every evening, food was delicious, pool was ok. I think the beds were a little stiff but everything else was great. If you want to drive there are lots of fantastic restaurants, wineries and cities to explore.
