La Terrazza del Borgo

It's a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel.The atmosphere is Italian, the manager, and the server are all kind and gentle! Pasta is chewy and soft! Vescine wine and T-bone steak makes the best day. Also a nice fire place makes gentle atmosphere :)

The restaurant belongs to a hotel we came from outside and I have to say “Beautiful restaurant, very very nice and friendly service..” the food was amazing the chef did even a fresh mayo upon our request for mayonnaise. This restaurant deserves this 5 stars 🤩

For My 50th birthday I wanted to do something special with my closest friends so I gave myself a unique experience. A wonderful candle lit dinner under the stars sitting in an olive grove. What can I say about this place....I was pleasantly surprised. It really exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect. The terrace was spotless and the grass and surroundings well manicured. Meals were scrumptious and the wine was excellent. The staff was helpful friendly and knowledgeable. I spent one of the most memorable evenings there. Now whenever I feel nostalgic I go back and look at the pictures of that unforgettable evening.

Ristorante all'interno di un antico borgo medievale, posto davvero suggestivo! ho cenato con alcuni amici e ci siamo trovati benissimo, piatti squisiti, credo la fiorentina più buona mai mangiata. Molta cura nell'impiattamento e abbinamenti non banali. Secondo me posto ideale anche per una cena romatica. Ci tornerò!

Avevo sentito da amici ottime valutazioni sulla Terrazza del Borgo ed ho prenotato una cena con mia moglie. La location è veramente suggestiva: aperitivo con vista pazzesca e cena ottima. Il personale è molto gentile e competente; ci hanno consigliato ottimi abbinamenti di vini. Splendida serata che abbiamo già programmato di ripetere.
P.S.: l'orto merita una visita!

Alla ricerca di un buon ristorante, siamo arrivati alla Terrazza del Borgo su suggerimento di amici. La sorpresa è stata molto piacevole e superiore alle aspettative: ci siamo trovati in un luogo incantevole, in una struttura accogliente ed avvolgente e questa magica atmosfera ci ha portati a degustare un'ottima cena. i piatti ci hanno stupito sia per la presentazione accurata che per l'ottima qualità degli ingredienti. Ritorneremo presto!!

Un posto incantevole ed una cena memorabile!
Abbiamo fatto una degustazione di vini al bar del Relais e poi una cena al ristorante. Il pezzo forte é la Fiorentina, ottima!

Il ristorante si trova all’interno di un borgo stupendo, la terrazza da su un viale di ulivi da togliere il fiato, c’è una atmosfera memorabile. Mangiato divinamente, ho apprezzato molto i primi e la carne, Fiorentina superlativa, carta dei vini molto fornita, ho provato il loro chianti riserva davvero ottimo.Superlativo!!

Ambiente elegante che nasconde quel po' di brio con il quale riesce a sorprendere e conquistare tutti i suoi ospiti una nota di merito va sicuramente al cibo trattato con vera maestria dallo chef Antonio, nonostante la sua giovane età riesce egregiamente a confrontarsi con chef di più affermata fama, vi consiglio una visita per testare tutte le meraviglie del ristorante e perché no poi una lunga passeggiata per il borgo di vescine che lo ospita ne rimarrete sicuramente incantata e non vorrete più lasciarlo

It is advertised as a gourmet restaurant. We had the 5-course Degustation menu for €95 per person. There’s also a wine accompaniment for €30 per person

As a starter we had a bread and sesame crumbed scallop. The taste of the sesame was so intense that you couldn’t taste anything of the scallop anymore.

The black pasta with shrimp tartar was very good.

The tortellini style pasta with codfish was OK and tasted a little bit like the pasta before.

The main dish was seabass. Rather bland.

As dessert we got one small boule of Pannacotta.

Overall, the dining experience on the quality of the food was underwhelming.

Siamo stati per cena a ferragosto. Posto molto carino. Peccano un po' sul servizio: cibo e vino (benché di produzione loro) non descritti ma poggiati solo sul tavolo, per avere le bottiglie di acqua bisognava chiedere più volte, menù non corrispondente a quanto detto al telefono in fase di prenotazione (non era stato fatto presente che il primo era a base di pesce ed al tavolo c'era una persona che non lo mangiava). Per il costo della cena non ci è sembrato valesse la pena sia per quantità che per qualità
