Stopped by only for wine tasting. They have some amazing views from the terrace. Weather was great to sit outside and wines were nice too.
Perfect place if you want to enjoy your wine with most scenic views of Chianti region.

The wines themselves were delightful. Each one captured the essence of the region beautifully.

This is the perfect blend of local produce, local passionate staff, beautiful wines, all in a mesmerising 17th century setting.
Sitting in this little courtyard, with a ~400 year old well as the centrepiece, classical music playing in the background, it couldn't be more romantic.
After choosing your dishes, if you're interested in choosing a special wine, the very friendly and helpful sommelier Giuseppe will be more than obliging - I tasted a Riservas and two Gran Seleziones that he recommended, the latter were so perfect I just had to buy a dozen to be shipped home to Australia (plus a take-away, plus a special bottle of Balsamico!). Or you can go for the Classicos at only €6/glass.
My waiter was Andrea, a very friendly but professional local guy; he would come and talk about the food (e.g. how the pigs are bred and the quality of their fat), check in regularly but not too often - literally the perfect waiter.
The food - classic local Italian dishes, made with fine local produce, prepared perfectly. Nothing pretentious, affordable, but I would be prepared (and have in many other places) to pay more.

I'll definitely be back.

Re my price guide - I would say I spent more than standard, only because I pigged out on 4 courses after a big bike ride (~€55), plus my wine choices were top shelf (€8-12/glass).
The food prices are not cheap but they're certainly not expensive, and as noted there are good €6/glass wine options.

What a great experience in Casa Chianti Classico! Delicious traditional Tuscan cuisine accompanied by the Chianti Classico/Riserva/Grand Riserva winetasting. Tiramisu icecream was amazing! We were served by Giuseppe and Andrea that were both superb and very friendly. Absolute recommendation!

In quite a wide vicinity in that area Casa Chianti are simply the best. I have rarely experienced such a passion someone dedicate to food and wine they are producing. I am definitely visiting once in this area

Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed this innovative and self-paced approach to learning about Chianti and appreciating its wines. We followed up with delicious lunch from their interesting menu, beautifully served. Busy but not crowded on our Saturday afternoon visit. Highly recommend as this is one of our top experiences in Tuscany.

We stopped by here for a wine tasting and lunch on our way through Tuscany. The lunch was very nice and the place is beautiful - it has a great view of the surrounding vineyards. We don't speak Italian and they were able to do the tasting in English. I'd recommend you stop on your way though, they have a great range of wines and a lovely cellar.

We were a large group of 16 people. They were super nice accommodating with short notice. The food was amazing! And the place is magical, terrace has a wonderful view. The staff is very very friendly and they have a great wine selection

What a lovely experience for us. We stopped by for lunch and wanted to buy some good wine. The lunch was very tasty and the wine was great. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and the prices were good too.
Would love to come back for some proper wine tasting and tour when we have more time!

Beautiful fresh food and wine at the restaurant as well as some amazing and personable service. I cannot stress how good the service and pasta was, some of the best in the area.

Outstanding Dinner and Beautiful Setting, you have many seating rooms, the Cloister, the main dining room and a patio overlooking the hillside (lunch only). The menu is amazing and the preparation, presentation is evident in the great taste. The two ladies who run it make sure every detail is exceeded. Even the home made bread.

A hidden gem in Radda in Chianti. Loved all about this place! The wine (of course), the food, the environment (an old monastery), the staff that are so friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t miss the possibility to learn more about the chianti wine by taking the offered ”sensorial pathway”. Highly recommended!

Highlight of our Tuscany Experience! In May, six of us from Florida spent a week in Tuscany. We toured a number of very nice wineries, but Chianti Classico was the most enjoyable. The setting (a very old and beautiful convent) is lovely. Alessandro and the staff gave us a great guided tastings tour, which was also quite educational. It was a lovely experience. Delightful, indeed!
