Ristorante Rosa Dei Venti

I have eaten hundreds of pizzas in my lifetime, this is single handedly the best pizza that has ever entered my mouth. The dough, cheese, tomato and truffle was so fresh, I have never tasted anything like it. The base was literally 2mm thick, but so crispy it could hold its shape with 5mm of topping weighing down on it. It was very light; although by the last slice, its affects were apparent. The flavour was very balanced, not too strong but just perfect.

The antipasti we ordered was a deep fried zucchini flower, it was divine! So succulent and flavoursome. It would make your mouth water after the first bite.

The atmosphere here is lovely, especially later in the evening and the staff are friendly, some a little quirky, but that's a good thing.

By the time dessert came around, I was pretty full, so I shared a tiramasu. The cream was very good and the inclusion of the chocolate flakes instead of coco powder made for a nice change.

I would thoroughly recommend this place!

Rosa dei Venti is a great restaurant for anything from a fun, romantic dinner on the terrace, to a lively group, or family, meal. Wonderful meat and pasta dishes, super service and always helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Our whole group absolutely loved the pizza here. Meat and pasta dishes were really good too. Plenty of space outside, butt fills up quickly on warm evenings. Limited parking up the little hill where the restaurant is, but you can park on the side of the road downhill.
