Bar Pianegiani

A terrific spot — a classic Italian bar perfect for morning coffee, aperitivo, a glass of wine, and certainly for sweets. The service was always correct and cheerful. We went here every day on our stay in Todi. A tremendous value as well.

Exceptionally high quality home made ice cream delivered since 1805. Try the pine nuts cream or the ricotta and figs. Strongly recommended.

Amazing experience at Pianegiani - super nice spot on the outside terrace directly next to a fountain, very high quality coffee - not only the espresso, but also cappuchino which is very rare in Italy (!) with cool Latte Art - and also very tasty pastries. And all of that for amazing prices. Come here when in Todi!!

This wonderful bar just continues to get better and better! The pastry has such finesse and the flavours exquisite. Service comes with a smile and the owners are rightly very proud of what they serve! A ‘must’ visit when you come to Todi!

Excellent gelato in the middle of Todi (arguably the best in town) - the pistachio, biscotto, chocolate fondant and yogurt are terrific, as are the sorbets/fruit-based gelatos. Great spot for coffee in the morning as well - lovely outdoor seating area, with a lot of buzz (seems many locals start their day here). Highly recommended!

Great coffee, delicious croissants and pastries, and the best gelato in Todi! Beautiful outdoor seating area. Great spot for a morning coffee or an evening aperitivo. Friendly, attentive staff. A real gem and a Todi favorite!

Visited three times: 1. Excellent pastries with Coffee in their tiny piazza… 2. Gelato! Angel 😇… 3: bought a whole semifreddo dessert… perfect cafe!

Beautiful setting hidden just below the main Piazza. Killer aperitivi plates and excellently made spritzes. Our server every day (we went 5 times in 3 days) was the most lovely woman who took great care and bent over backwards for us tourists amongst the very local crowd. Awesome for aperitivi, breakfast & coffee, and do not miss the gelato.

Such a delightful place to drink cappuccino and gelato for the kids. Service was so welcoming. Go here if in Todi!

Excellent gelato! Excellent espresso & cappuccino! Wonderful pastries. Very nice, friendly staff. Casual chic. Frequented by locals & tourists. Great location with covered outdoor seating right at the Fonte Cesia!
