Came here Sunday night at 730 after mid day winery. Off the path from tourist area. Service was friendly and fast. Food and wine was great. Steak and wild boar pasta we split. Then got taramisu and espresso. Good price, great service. Quiet and pleasant

We had gotten a bit late from our day trip and we really wanted to have a wild boar stew. When we called them, they said they would be happy to have us. When we reached they welcomed us and showed us to our table quite quickly.
I ordered the famed wild boar stew while my wife ordered the ravioli. We ordered some wine with it. The wine was local and was good as expected. The ravioli was very good as any pasta from the region. What blew my mind was the wild boar stew. Cooked in slightly tomato gravy with a few spices, the tender pieces of meat melted away in my mouth. As a Bengali, it reminded me of the goat meat curry we have in bengal, Kolkata. It was a delicious surprise that is a must try when visiting this region .

An absolute gem of a restaurant with a charming ambiance and a delicious local menu. The husband and wife team of server and chef made the evening so welcoming, and it's easy to tell they take pride in their dishes. We knew we wanted to get a classic Steak Florentine, and this 1.3kg beauty was presented to us table-side with recommendations for the best accompaniments (the beans of course). We enjoyed a bottle of Chianti Classico, and then feasted like kings when the perfectly cooked and simply seasoned steak arrived. Delicious is an understatement. I have to say the beans were also a highlight, which seems impossible to compete with all the umami of steak, but I would've happily had seconds of the beans which tasted like home-cooked warmth in a dish. If you are remotely close to this restaurant, I highly recommend you book it. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This family-run restaurant is an absolute gem. The staff/family were welcoming and charismatic. The food was impreccable - there were classic dishes that were executed perfectly as well as unique plates that we had never experienced. It was so good that we wanted to go back the following night (unfortunately, they were closed).

Highly recommend having dinner here.

Yummy toasts and carpaccio to start with.
Really enjoyed my very first cacio e pepe and discovered my love for pici pasta.
My partner was enjoying his Pappardelle al ragù di Cinghiale so much that I forgot to take a pic of his dish lol. Indeed, they were top-notch.
A bit disappointed that they ran out of tiramisu (from lunch time). Nevertheless, pana cotta was good (although the saffron taste was very subtle).

Warm place to have diner at. Great value for money. Can fit in around 20 people so make sure to book in advance!

The restaurant is simply awesome, very well decorated and with a nice vibe. The food was great also, everything homemade.
Aldo, the owner, is very friendly just like the rest of the staff.

Whilst on holiday in radda in chianti we found a gem of a restaurant. The food and service is excellent and they bake the most delicious cakes to take away. As I have worked in hospitality its wonderful to find these precious restaurants.

A lovely family run restaurant. Very cute and cosy inside. We ordered the vegetable and bean soup to start as well as the crostini with lardons. The soup in particular was very hearty and delicious. For mains we had the cacio e pepe and the risotto with sausage. Loved the cacio e Pepe - very cheesy and delicious. The risotto was ok - could really taste the wine however the sausage was a little lost in the dish. Unfortunately a lot of the desserts were unavailable so didn’t get to try any of these.
A great meal, served with an excellent chianti. Enjoyed and would recommend

Great service, amazing food! Pork belly crostini, Cacio e pepe, and the wild boar stew with a side salad make for an incredible meal.

This resto is 5 star all the way. Super quaint little place with only 7 tables. The owner is always smiling and dancing around - making sure everyone is taken care of. He clearly loves his place and the customers.
The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere what you want in a Tuscan dining experience. Quaint, wonderful and satisfying.
A must place to go !!

The most welcoming owners. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional. Honestly, everything was perfect!

MUST visit in the Chianti region. The restaurant feels like you are in the owners' home, as the kitchen is open and just off the relatively small dining room (for this reason, we would recommend making a reservation). It is run by a husband-wife duo, and this added even more to the authenticity of the experience. Finally, the food was also excellent with all of the Tuscan classics you would expect. Will definitely be back when back in the Chianti region in the future.

Incredible meal in a very friendly and quiet place tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Everything we wanted in an traditional Italian meal and we were made to feel very much at home. Highly recommend!

We were on holidays from Sydney Australia and hoped we would come across a small countryside family owned restaurant that left a lasting impression on us and this restaurant absolutely blew our minds and was one of our of best dining experiences and Italian meals of all time. You won’t want to leave and we most definitely want to go back. Thank you Aldo and team - 10/10!!
