La Cantina Del Mercataccio

My parents live in Todi and we visit often, but haven't dined here yet, so we thought why not? It was so lovely. We had beautiful view, amazing food, and as my husband exclaimed...the best cannolo he has ever had! Our service was fabulous and Simone was lovely person and a fantastic cameriere. We will be back!

I’ve never given a restaurant 5 stars but La Cantina del Mercataccio deserves it. The food was wonderful and fresh. I had the filetto di manzo and it was so tender and the chef has some very tasty ingredients along with the steak. I also had the ravioli with pumpkin and it was fantastic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you ever find yourself in Todi, be sure to make time to stop in for lunch or dinner. Or both. We’re going back tomorrow for lunch and so looking forward to it! Oh and the desserts are divine.

Great food, and very hospitable hosts. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the portions. We were here during truffle season and the dishes had generous portions of truffle. We can really taste the freshness in the food. I would definitely recommend having a nice dinner at this restaurant without breaking the bank.

Or group of seven had a very warm welcome, extremely helpful and kind service, and fantastic dishes. They were really flexible with our special needs like vegetarian food. The tangerine dessert will stay in my memories forever. The antipasti plate had a great selection and huge quantities.

Slightly more expensive than usual restaurants in the area, but definitely worth it! Very tasty dishes, especially the antipasti.

I can say that the team that runs this restaurant really has heart. Delicious food with an upscale feel. Warm staff that makes you feel welcome, always. Please take your time when eating here, it will be worth it.

Excellent quick lunch, cold cuts /cheese starter, very good truffle ravioli to follow.Good glass house red vino.

Excellent food and atmosphere! Chef Patterson is truly a master of his art. I've never had steak cuts done so perfectly as those with the truffle sauce, nor a pasta dish so flavorful as the cacio e pepe. If I could give this restaurant six stars, I would! We're definitely returning the next time that we are in Todi.

Chef John Patterson has a long history of serving great food in Todi and this restaurant is no exception. We tried several dishes and were pleased with them all.

The best cuisine in Todi, the most welcoming and friendly place with great wine list and some super rare cheese that is a must for any food and wine enthusiasts.

The most amazing cacio and pepe pasta with truffles I ever ate and the yummiest panna cotta with hot wild berries!! Try the grilled lamb too something to die for!!

Loverly place, sat outside, with two children and our dog, great care of staff and food was wonderful, good local wine.
