Enoteca del Teatro

This is a "must go to" Enoteca! On a pretty town square, the perfect place if, like us, you love great wine and food. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable, The wine was excellent as was the food, we shared several plates of specialties, all delicious but the star for me was the Chianina tartare! The prices are very reasonable too. Child friendly. And if you like Negroni, they do a really good one too! We will definitely come back, thank you!

This is truly an Enoteca!! Incredibly knowledgeable staff with a huge selection of wine. A perfectly curated menu to match the beverages. Located right in the piazza and the final pop to a perfect experience.

Extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable owner. Nice variety of excellent wine. We were there in Sarteano for a week, and she loaned us wine glasses since our house didn’t include any.

A great place to unwind while sitting out in the busy square or tucked inside the enoteca itself. Both Beatrice and Stefano are genuine wine connoisseurs and have an array of wines to suit all pockets and expertise. Delicious platters and some other specials of the day worth the try. A must go for an enjoyable evening out in the heart of Sarteano.

They deserve more then 5 stars. It was perfect. Delicous food, amazing wine and the staf is very kind and the man explained the story behind the wine with so much pasion. 11/10!

Beatricia is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and boasts a very well curated selection of rossos, blancos, and bubbles from all over Italy, with a strong concentration in Tuscany. She has an excellent selection of local wines as well, which are absolutely delicious and well worth exploring. We bought a case of mixed wine while we were staying near Sarteano for two weeks, and enjoyed everything she recommended thoroughly. She and her staff also provided a number of fabulous restaurant selections for us to try. Overall do NOT miss this place in the heart of Sarteano. Unfortunately I misplaced their email address but they also ship wine to the US! Highly recommended!!

The best place in the near area to eat and drink. Very delicious food and drinks, stop looking for another restaurant and enjoy your time here. The service is at its best and the Ambiente as well. Would recommend to everyone!

A great place to chill in the area, in the center of Sarteano. The only real enoteca around we found, with lots of wines to choose from (lots of bubble too!). Food is simple but top notch quality and you can drink wines by the glass too. The cheeses are wonderful. Beatrice, the owner, is super nice, a real sommelier and never short of advices. She told us a ton more new wines are coming... Looking forward to get back as soon as possible!

Execellent choice in local wines and international wines. Very friendly hosts with grear wine knowledge. Special menu with delicious small platters, all biological and of good quality. Try the cheese or sausage/ham platter, the tartare or the excellent mozzarella.

Lovely wine bar/small restaurant in the heart of beautiful Sarteano. The staff is super friendly and the food and wine is delicious. It's perfect for aperitivo, but also to grab something to eat. I can highly recommend this place!

Se vi piace il buon vino (veramente buono), il buon cibo, la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale, siete nel posto giusto. Location incredibile proprio nella piazza del borgo, locale ricreato all'interno di un palazzo storico della piazza; ma godersi la cenetta o un calice di vino direttamente nel plateatico esterno è una esperienza da provare. Materie prime per il cibo davvero molto selezionate, c'è tradizione ma anche un passo avanti, si vede che c'è studio e passione. Sono riusciti a soddisfare anche me che non mangio carne😅 La passione si ritrova anche nella selezione dei vini che non si fermano solo ai classici toscani ma esplorano anche bottiglie particolari e cantine di tutte le regioni italiane con un occhio anche a importanti etichette francesi. Ottime scoperte anche le bollicine toscane di cui non conoscevo l'esistenza. Per concludere consiglio torta Pistocchi se volete fare esplodere il palato. Grazie mille al personale e alla titolare, preparatissima e gentilissima con cui è stato bello anche scambiare quattro chiacchiere a fine servizio.

Bellissimo locale arredato con originalità, ricercato e molto accogliente. D'estate si può stare anche ai tavolini all'aperto in piazza. Selezione di vini internazionale curatissima, proposta di piatti con i sapori tipici locali ma con un tocco personalissimo.

Locale situato in una delle zone più belle di Sarteano, staff preparato e cordiale, vino e cibo super (anche senza glutine!).
Ottimo per un aperitivo, perfetto per cenare, difficile trovare di meglio.

Delizioso localino in centro a Sarteano, di fronte al teatro. La proprietaria & sommelière Beatrice è bravissima nel consigliare la bevuta giusta, o la bottiglia poco conosciuta ma interessante. In più, si mangiano ottimi piatti d'accompagnamento. Menzione speciale per il panino con aringa e uovo sodo.
