Perhaps Montefalco’s finest restaurant although that’s a big call, extraordinary wine list, beautifully executed and delicious food in the picturesque square - definitely a place to revisit again and again - if we can get a table

It is impossible to find fault with this restaurant: food was exceptional (I had the Carbonara), extensive range of Montefalco and other wines and friendly service in a beautiful setting in the town piazza.

Beautifull place un the middle of the "piazza" In Montefalco, where you can enjoy a delicious food. The tiramisu was perfect, only too little, we would love a bigger size because it was really really good!

One of the top food and wine experiences we had in Italy and in a beautiful setting in the main square of Montefalco.
We will be returning again and again. I would recommend getting a reservation as this place is “the spot” for fine dining in the area. Excellent ingredients and recipes and a presentation that is world class.

They also curate a crazy great wine list featuring a lot of natural wines and excellently farmed classically styled producers. Just a perfect harmony here between quality, style, and great service.

Wonderful experience! Excellent food, perfect service and suggestive location. We ate two starters and two first courses, everything was really good, but the apex was the desserts..exceptional! We drank a lovely Sagrantino and an unforgettable sweet wine suggested by the great waitress. Can't wait to go back!

One of our favorite restaurants. Food is exquisite, service impeccable, and in a very nice atmosphere, surrounded by bottles of wine. We have eaten here multiple times over many years, and while the quality has always been great, we think they have even gotten better this time. We now ate here with a party of six, and all the dishes were fantastic. When in the area, we simply HAVE to eat here :)

Absolute perfection! Worth a drive to eat here. We had an amazing lunch. The website shows a fixed price menu but it is a la carte ordering (at least for lunch, I don’t know about dinner).

we have eaten at the L Achimista with guests on our cycling trips, but this was the first time we have eaten just for pleasure - my husband's birthday. Absolutely super food, highly recommend the cheese plate. Service was excellent, the staff go that little bit further. Wonderful international wine list, but stick local with your choice!

Despite the name and huge fame, the restaurant is well priced and absolutely worth it.

The dishes are outstanding, well portioned and refined.

Service is fast, not super cozy due to the discreet number of tables but absolutely never cold/impersonal.

It is a MUST visit!

Perfection! We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The food was out of this world and the service could not be faulted. Reasonably priced too. Unfortunately this was our last night in Montefalco otherwise we would have been back again tonight! Wish we'd discovered it sooner.

Our excellent host at Bed & Breakfast Casa Laura highly recommended this place for dinner. My wife and I had just come from Orvieto, where we learned about how they survived attacks by raising (and eating) pigeons in the caves below the city. When my wife saw Pigeon on the menu, she said that we would be eating anything but that.

Well, the sommelier came to our table to help us chose a wine and asked us what we were considering for our meat. He got the story, and then proceeded to gently guide us down the path of ordering the "bird". We were, of course in Montefalco. He paired this with the Montefalco Sagrantino for us.

I must say we both think this is one of the most enjoyable meals we had on the trip. It was a bit adventurous, and clearly romantic, fun, and delicious. Go here and enjoy life.

This is a fantastic family run restaurant. Mum Patrizia is the creative genius chef putting together the best Umbrian seasonal ingredients that synthesise both tradition and flair. Great service, excellent wine list with knowledgeable service. Consistently brilliant.
