Hidden bakery and coffee place. Few tables outside but spacious inside. If you want to get away from the crowds this is a good spot. Internet is fast and reliable and the coffee is really good and comes in all sizes. The pastry was ok but I only got a croissant so can’t judge all the other good looking stuff.

It’s a really nice place with a wide offer of pastry and coffee. Could be cozier inside. The service is good, you don’t pay the usual coperto and considering the location the prices are very low. Also appreciate the options for different dietary restrictions - non dairy milk, vegan pies..

We went here regularly during our few week stay as it was right next to our place. It was consistently one of the best bakeries and cafes. We enjoyed the couches in the back, the booths in the front and the cappuccino freddos.

THE BAKERY in town. Great variation of bakery, fresh and tasty. Staff is a star, literally went to this place every sigle morning. Suprisingly, coffee is great, although specialty coffee is quite a challenge in Italy. Mild espresso and good quality. Croissants come steamy and you can ask them to fill with different flavours right there. Kind enough to make also a mix such as nutella and pistacchio, ricotta and forest fruits etc. Five stars without any hesitation.

Great coffe, delicious desserts
The food and coffee are delicious. Visited multiple times and every time i was able to enjoy the coffie and deserts to the fullest. The staff is friendly but when sitting at the table it can happen they need just a bit longer than expected. The staff understands english (had only one small experience while asking something in English that we where ignored by one of the staff).
The atmosphere is really nice and worth the stay even more when you include the great taste.

Amazing cafe! Good atmosphere, great coffee and sweets! Big variety of products. Service really kind.
I recommend the pistachio cornetto🤗, super good! The place looks small from outside but inside has plenty of seats. Good wifi connection, many locals working/studying in there.
Baby friendly, high chairs available.
We have ordered cappuccino, espresso doppio, pistachio cornetto, crostata and orange juice - all recommended!

We came to this lovely bakery quite a few times during our stay in Siracusa. We can highly recommend the croissants which come with a number of possible fillings, our favourite being the crema. It is good that they fill them on site rather than having them pre-filled. The coffee is good, as is the service and plenty of tables inside with a few outside as well.

Delicious cornetto with pistachios (2 EUR) and other sweets. Delicious coffee. Delicious arancino and local bear. Prices are really nice. Highly recommend!

Great place for quick coffee and pastries. I visited Viola bakery for breakfast a few times in November 2023. Very courteous and friendly staff, plenty of options and wifi. FYI: Americans, they do carry an “American sized” large coffee. Please see attached picture.

We had late breakfast there. Place was recommended by locals. They have nice pastries, cheesecake with jam is really good, coffee is amazing.

Ideal place for granitas and tasty pastries. They also offer arancini, which were way above the average. Has an airy terrace with beautiful historical views of the Ortigia’s ancient buildings.

This bakery was a God send on a rainy day when every other place was closed. Inside, this is the largest sit down cafe that we visited on our trip. Very cozy, they even have a couch! Hot chocolate isn't your Swiss Miss sugar water. It is real melted chocolate. A spoon will stand in the cup! In different flavors, even spicy. English menu available. But wait. They also have heart food. The sausage was great. Then there the richest cake we've ever had. We spent about 2 hrs here warming up, drying off and waiting for the rain to leave. Highly recommend!

Visited several times and always had an enjoyable experience. A range of milk alternatives and gluten free treats which can be hard to find in the area. The pastries and cakes are delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is both outdoor and indoor seating available - and the indoor area is quite spacious.

One of the best vegan cornetti i've ever had! Super fresh flakey hazelnut deliciousness😍! I also had an almond cappuccino with I believe a homemade almond milk that was the creamiest and smoothest foam possible! The almond granita was on the sweet side but also soo flavorful and delicious! A must-go place for vegans in Ortigia.

One of the best 3 bakeries / cafeterias in Sicily we have tried. Very cozy and relaxing interior, great choice of pastry, cases, dessert, very good coffee. Also very reasonable prices - see attached photo with coffee price list. I tried my first cassata - delicious Sicilian dessert - very much recommended :)

Absolutely everything delicious! We ate there 3 times in 2 days because we wanted to try more and more of this beautiful food and coffee. The owner is also super nice and welcoming. Also the prices are great for such quality food in the middle of Ortigia

Very nice place in the city center. Friendly stuff, delicious pastries and they serve a decaffeinated coffee, which is perfect for me. Big size of Cappuccino exactly what you need during the day walk😊

The cappuccino and chocolate croissant here is very good. The (big) cappuccino is quite large for European standards and croissant very fresh and crispy.
