B&B Le Ortensie - Lago di Como

Lio came and picked my wife, son, and I up from the train station when we arrived since we had some luggage. Above and beyond. She then gave us a larger room to help with our baby as well. Great hospitality. We really felt at home here. The view from the balcony is outstanding. Nice old home. Would've loved to get that fireplace cooking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfy and allowed much needed rest. It's a short walk to Sisters Cafe, which is awesome. Loved the town and location. Thanks Lio!

Great hosts and a great home! beautiful yard with gardens & nice rooms with outdoor access! our hosts were so sweet an accomodated a gluten free breakfast! 10 minute walk to the Lierna Train Station and they picked us up on our way in from Mandello de Lario! The house is right across the street from a small Pebble beach and a 10 minute car or train to Varenna! Overall I definitely recommend for your next stay - great value and great experience!

I highly recommend this beautiful B&B for its very helpful and friendly owner and its ideal location in Lierna for accessing trains and boats to explore other parts of Lake Como.

This is a wonderful serene location just outside but very accessible by train or vehicle to tourist strip of the Lake. Has one local bar open to late in the off season but beautiful BnB and hosts are lovely and welcoming and very accommodating and will give plenty of assistance to sites or trails (for those hiking) to see along the Lake. They do have a cat, Max, who is a warm-hearted feline and accompanied me in the garden on arrival. Breakfast is of good quality and this comes as excellent value for price for the beautiful and homely BnB. Would definitely consider coming back perhaps during the summer to get the full benefit of the Lake. Could not fault BnB in the slightest.

I think i found the best place for me and my family at como lake! The b&b is in the forest and on the lake! Mrs Liu and her family are very friendly and kind and make you feel comfortable with their hospitality! Big bathroom with hot water all the time. Clean towels and bedsheets. Rich breakfast made with love from mrs Liu. Best croissant ever! I hope we go again...

We stayed for one week with our children and grandparents , the place is great , beach nearby, Lierna is quiet but very nice located, Liu and her husband are very helpfull, big recommendation :)

Ottimo B&B. Sono stata qui con amiche di passaggio durante il cammino del Viandante. La casa è meravigliosa, pulita ed arredata con gusto. La proprietaria è stata molto accogliente, gentile e ci ha preparato una colazione strepitosa con brioches calde. La giusta carica per ripartire per il nostro viaggio! Unica nota: le camere da letto affacciano in vicinanza della ferrovia quindi quando passa il treno si sente. Do comunque 5 stelle perché per noi non è stato un problema dato che avevamo sveglia presto (il primo treno se non sbaglio era verso le 6) e comunque in camera sono stati forniti anche tappi per le orecchie per chi non li avesse con sè. A pochi passi dalla casa si arriva anche ad una spiaggetta con sassi e prato dove è possibile rilassarsi è prendere il sole. Inoltre è molto vicina all’imbocco dei diversi sentieri. La consiglio molto!

Bella location in posizione strategica e con vista lago. Ospitalità eccellente, prezzo più che onesto. Colazione ricca e squisita

La proprietaria è una Donna eccezionale, simpatica, gentile e disponibile. Posto molto bello e pulito. Stanze ampie e pulite. Prima colazione varia e abbondante. Inoltre, è a due passi dal lago: riva bianca ha un'acqua limpida e con bar, pizzeria e ristorante sulla spiaggia.

Una magnífica atención de Liu y su gato Max. La habitación tenía baño y era muy cómoda, con un calefactor que mantenía una buena temperatura. El desayuno muy completo, y la mujer que nos atendió muy atenta en todo momento. La ubicación es buena y a pocos minutos a pie del lago.

Posizione ottima per raggiungere gli attacchi per i sentieri, struttura deliziosa per arredamento, cultura, pulizia e cortesia incredibile della proprietaria. Ho dormito benissimo e ricevuto una colazione perfetta.Tornero di sicuro!

Complimenti a questo bed and breakfast scoperto casualmente su internet, una bellissima villa a due passi dalla Riva Bianca di Lierna. La proprietaria, Signora Emilia, gestisce la struttura con grande cortesia e professionalità, attenta a cogliere ed esaudire i desideri dei clienti. Camera pulita e confortevole. Colazione ottima. Colazione curata e abbondante, posto incantevole situato a ridosso del lago in una posizione ottima per raggiungere facilmente gli altri paesini.

Anche quest' anno la settimana che trascorro con mio nipotino l'ho passata al b&b Le Ortensie di Lierna.
Pulito, accogliente, tranquillo, posizione strategica per la spiaggia e soprattutto grande disponibilità e gentilezza della padrona di casa.
