Ristorante Terrazza Barchetta

So happy my husband found this gem while navigating online for a nice lunch spot on our last day in Bellagio. It was a quaint little spot somewhat hidden away from all the crowds, which is nice. All the servers were friendly and the food was very good. Definitely on the pricey side, but everything is in bellagio. My husband and I ordered the lake fish for a starter and it was a very local dish - we are glad we finally tried it considering we were staying in Lake Como, we like to try all the local dishes when we can. I had the risotto and my husband had the trout - both very filling and very flavorful dishes.

Delicious food, excellent service with Domenico and Iman! We accidentally found this little restaurant tucked away and we are so glad we did! Highly recommend!

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch as it started pouring outside. Had a lovely lunch. Food was good. Service was polite albeit a bit slow. Prices are in line with the area.

The stuffed zucchini flowers were great, as was the risotto with sausage. The gnocchi were ‘only’ good in my opinion, though my wife did really enjoy them.

For dessert we had the Zabaione, which I really enjoyed. It was my first time having it so not sure how it stacks up against others.

We ran in to escape a rain shower and were delighted by this cozy restaurant. A local-produce focused menu and friendly staff made sure that this was an experience to remember.

My beef carpaccio with horseradish was a flavor bomb of perfectly prepared beef with parmesan and truffles, it was the best carpaccio I've had, ever.

My pikeperch (white lake fish) was tender, and very tasty but not super-fishy, perfectly complemented with creamy spinach and crisp roast potatoes.

This was a very good meal.

Small, cozy restaurant with romantic terrace on the 1st floor. We discovered it by chance and were there for dinner. It turned out to be a perfect evening. Gloria, Claudio and Xevhen were perfect hosts. Very friendly, approachable and always attentive. The duck breast on mashed potatoes and the spaghetti vongole were very fine and fried to the point. The wine recommendation, white wine Operau from Valtellina very good. The prices are absolutely fine for what is offered. We spent a very nice evening and can only recommend it.

Superlative experience. The food was utterly magnificent, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Not particularly cheap, but worth the cost for sure! Beautiful setting with pretty lighting and fresh air on the terrace with tasteful plant decor. Make sure to go upstairs because downstairs is a separate, independent pizzeria.

So so pleased with our experience at Ristorante Terrazza Barchetta! Stumbled upon this nice, upstairs portion of the restaurant accidentally but decided to stay and I’m so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly, the views over a street of Bellagio are nice, and the food was delightful. I particularly recommend the truffle gnocchi!!

The most amazing Italian restaurant. I’m always scared to end up in tourist traps but this was a hidden gem. The staff is so so nice and always trying to please. The food is exceptional and authentic and the restaurant is super cute (and they have AC in the summer!!!). It was so good that we went back a second time.

I grew up on a dairy farm and now live in Texas. Yet, I had one of the best steaks of my life here, on a lake in Italy.

Even as it is cold and rainy outside, they have heaters and curtains drawn keeping it perfectly temperate. This place is incredible all around.

Make sure to make reservations! We heard someone try the ol' "I'm friends with the owner" and still didn't work for them.

Easily the best meal I’ve had since I came to bellagio. Dominico was so kind to us and so helpful. The food was absolutely flawless and they also have an excellent wine (and dessert wine) list. The views are spectacular and they have air conditioning running even outside for comfort. I wish I had more time in bellagio so I could come every single night. Thank you, Dominico!!!!

We had a lovely experience at Ristorante Terrazza Barchetta. It was easy to make a reservation via phone, the staff was super friendly and had a great command of English! We were a large group and each of us was super happy with their choice. Thanks for having us!

Hidden, cosy, charming, very Italian. Fast service and probably the best Italian pizza I've had to that point. Much bigger than other ones around lake Como! Lovely staff.

A wonderful restaurant that is quite, nice views and has sincere service. A menu with a lot of options and solid wine list. The owner and server truly care that you are happy and appreciated you presence.

The seafood spaghetti was astonishingly good. The zabajone dessert was astonishingly good too, as was the creme brulee. This is a really good restaurant.

So pleased we booked this place. Amazing food with awesome service, in a great setting. One of the best thing we did was trust in Yeuhen the smellier. His wine recommendations were brilliant. Matched perfectly with the food we ordered. If in Bellagio, this is a must visit. Would I return, absolutely

Nice, cozy place. The people were very friendly. I was there in a not very popular period and not a lot of restaurants were opened. The food was very good.

Delicious food and we were very well taken care of- complimentary limoncello and Prosecco and spare red wine. Molto bene

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend of ours and it really didn’t disappoint! The meal was absolutely excellent, we had one pasta dish each and I would recommend all of them, from the gnocchi with chickpeas and mussels to the spaghetti with vongole they were all tasty, well cooked and decent sized portions. We had the Pinot bianco to drink which was delicious and then had the fish and grilled vegetables to share. Again, even the vegetables didn’t disappoint.

Service was fast, very polite and accommodating - we booked the day before and they kept us the best table by the balconi.

If you happen to be in Bellaggio I’d definitely pop by for either lunch or dinner

Went with my bf two nights in a row. We didn’t need to reserve, but just went and found a table which is impossible in other places in Bellagio. Everything we ordered was delicious and the workers are very kind. Portions are big and I would definitely come back to this restaurant when I am back in Bellagio :)
